We were looking for an apartment quite urgently, and he managed to help us get everything sorted within a week, which we really appreciated.<br><br>Matthew was available most of the time whenever we had questions and was very quick to respond to our messages, even outside normal working hours. 10th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Recently moved in to a property let by Dixons, Edgbaston branch. Rent is £950 per month. Upon moving in, we had no working fridge/freezer for 4 months. It had last been PAT tested in 2017. Fridge was connected to the supply through a hole in the wall, which is quite clearly not legit.<br>Landlords were not sorting issues, and we had essentially been let an unsafe, unchecked flat, with a knackered fridge/freezer. Landlords had stored it in an internal cupboard to hide extent of the damage.<br>Went in branch to discuss with Dixons. They said we were on our own. All they do is let the property, and then will have nothing to do with any issues...<br>But you rented this property to us, declaring it was ready to move in? The kitchen tiles are cracked, cupboards hanging off walls and we're left to deal with the disruption of repairs etc.<br>They'll rush you in, take your money, and leave you in a flat that's quite clearly unsafe and needed fixing before new tenants moved in. Would not use again and will definitely not be recommending to anyone.

3rd Sep 2026 (11 days ago)My experience with Northwood Birmingham has been disappointing and frustrating.<br><br>?Communication is consistently poor. Emails and phone calls go ignored, and getting a response requires chasing them repeatedly for weeks. It feels completely unprofessional, especially when you expect basic courtesy and responsiveness in return.<br><br>?More importantly, their property management standards are unacceptable.<br><br>After the tenants moved out, the property was left in a miserable condition. As a landlord paying for management, you expect your property to be looked after, but Northwood fell far short.<br><br>?I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes necessary improvements to their customer service and inspection standards.

Unusual circumstances and difficult market was neatly handled and top client base secured a sale for me. In regards to the service that was provided, personal, professional and supportive throughout. I was never once in the dark and Clare helped make sure that everything went smoothly as possible. 100% would recommend and 100% trust.
29th Oct 2021 (4 years ago)We recently tried to rent a commercial property that SJ had. Ryan the representative had zero knowledge nor could answer any of our inquiries. Weeks later still no emails, month later we received an email that our offer was declined with no explanation as to why. Many attempts later to speak to anyone other then receptionists fell on death ears. Terrible run business all should avoid at all costs.

30th Jun 2023 (3 years ago)In a word ((Scammers)) Why? They will over price your property rent. However, most do that then naturally one would have to haggle them down. Not sure if there is a landlord as it might be themselves pretending there is one! And if there is a landlord the landlord has no idea what these guys do!!!!! You have your contract fees which you pay every month. But then they try and scam all there clients with made up fees! Theses are normally around £40 they say it's for water and heating. However that is covered in your contract fees!!!!!! They pocket these fee if you don't pay it and tell them you will only pay what's on the contract then they can't do anything. If your building has parking and they also want that payment separate from your contact that is also a scam!!!!!!! Don't fall victim to these guys. If you have paid them these fees for years then get that money back. Take them to court if you must. However, don't let them get away with this bad practices!!!!!!
