Oliver and Giles were super helpful, even going out of their way and getting information and talking to the solicitors. This has been a long procedure but a very pleasant one. I could highly recommend them as they are very professional and trustworthy. Thank you again!

3rd Aug 2026 (1 day ago)A huge shout-out to the entire Seymour's team, but especially to Charles Newman and Jules Smethurst. Without them, we wouldn't have secured our dream home in one of Guildford's most sought-after areas or reached completion so quickly and smoothly. We can't thank them enough!<br><br>Looking back, it has been a long and exhausting journey. We first began our house search in 2024 with another estate agents and moved to Seymour's at the beginning of 2026. Initially, we were a little concerned that a larger estate agency might feel too corporate or be focused on pushing for a quick sale. In reality, that’s not been the case at all.<br><br>Charles is one of the kindest, most knowledgeable and dependable person we've had the pleasure of working with. From our very first conversation through to completion, he kept in close contact, keeping us updated every step of the way and proactively suggesting properties that genuinely matched our requirements. He was always easy to reach, and his advice was consistently honest, thoughtful, and never pushy. We always felt he had our best interests at heart.<br><br>Once our offers were accepted, Jules became our main point of contact throughout the conveyancing process, and we were blown away by her dedication and work ethic. She worked tirelessly to coordinate between all the parties involved and to resolve the many issues that inevitably arose along the way. Time and again she responded to emails late into the evening and over weekends, simply to ensure that nothing was left unresolved. Her commitment, professionalism, and attention to detail were truly exceptional.<br><br>We feel incredibly fortunate that Charles and Jules were with us throughout this journey. The care, integrity, and professionalism they showed at every stage gave us complete confidence that we were in the best possible hands. We would recommend Seymour's without hesitation, and Charles and Jules in particular are an absolute credit to the company.
16th May 2026 (11 weeks ago)Absolutely appalling service. Catherine, who was supposed to show us around the property we had arranged to see was short and rude from the moment we met her. She refused to answer any questions we had about the property, didn’t seem at all interested in actually displaying the property to us and spoke horribly to us during the brief time we had with her. Avoid this agency at all costs if this is the standard they hold themselves to. Honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had with an estate agency.

2nd Jun 2026 (9 weeks ago)10/10 – I would recommend Bourne in Godalming without hesitation. We initially had our house on the market with another agent who unfortunately wasn’t able to sell it. After switching, the difference was night and day. From the outset, the team (Adrian, Jim, Tilly) were proactive, communicative, and genuinely invested in getting the best outcome for us. They kept us updated throughout, were always available to answer questions, and worked incredibly hard to keep things moving. Selling and buying a house can be stressful, but their professionalism, persistence, and support made a huge difference. We’re delighted with the result and very grateful for all their help. If you’re looking for an estate agent who is responsive, proactive, and goes above and beyond, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

3rd Oct 2024 (1 year ago)Recently sold a property in Guildford; It was a long and tortuous process complicated by the fact that I am living overseas and was very poorly advised as to finding a settlement agent. A first real estate agent made unrealistic market assertions regarding the market then followed up by passing the work to office juniors. Eventually I re-marketed through Kings and was fortunate to have Bipen working on my property. Bipen personally conducted viewings and found a buyer in reasonable time, then worked to achieve a mutually acceptable outcome; Unfortunately, this was only the start- dealing through disinterested settlement lawyers on both sides of the deal was so tedious that I came close to abandoning the sale; Somehow, and mainly through Bipen’s perseverance and patience, the deal was eventually settled and both myself and the buyer can move on. Many thanks to Bipen for sticking with this one- his diligence was literally the only thing between a sale and returning to the rental market! Great outcome all round- Many thanks!
