Both these businesses are absolutely faultless, Neil sold our house not once but twice after losing our first buyer, quickly and efficiently. Holly in the office is the easiest person to talk to, and she goes above and beyond to make you feel constantly reassured, we had a lot of stress with our onwards purchase and she always had time to listen to me when I was stressing, offering a friendly ear and mountains of support. Last but by no means least Gavin is the best Financial Advisor out there in my opinion, he sorted out a complicated mortgage for us, explained everything fully (more than once to me), probably the most patient man alive! The whole team are professional but also fun, they will make you laugh, and when you are going through one of the most stressful processes in life, that is what’s needed, trust me! Thanks again guys, you are the best!
9th Feb 2026 (12 weeks ago)I have recently contacted Gemma Acreman, Lettings Manager at Holland & Odam, to ask for advice - she is very pleasant, helpful and professional. Gemma is really well-informed and up-to-date with current and pending legislation. I would highly recommend her to both landlords and tenants, especially given the increasingly complex landscape that we are all trying to navigate.

They guided us through the sale. Brian did a great job from start to finish , getting us the best price and making the brochure look stunning . 1st May 2026 (4 days ago)They had since September to sell our property, which was first listed at their own valuation. Over the months, they repeatedly advised us to reduce the price, which we did three times. We were out of contract with them from December, but still ended up stuck with them until 1st May. In that time, we had only three viewings, and we believe one of those may not have been genuine. It felt like they were just bringing anyone round to make it look as though they were doing something, including people who had not even sold their own property. They have wasted valuable time when we could have been with a company that actually cared about selling our home. Now that we are going with another estate agent, they want £300 from us after seven months of poor service. Avoid at all costs.

24th Oct 2025 (6 mo. ago)From the moment the phone was picked up at the office we felt as if we were treated as the only customers and nothing was too much trouble. There was professional timely communication, and regular updates. Advice was readily given and the sales team proactively managed the sale and after sales process. We highly recommend Tim, Nikki, Claire and the whole team. We spoke to 4 estate agents to organise our sale, although initially the most expensive this was more than recouped when, the highest sales figure was attained within 2 weeks, with minimal stress. This was the only agent to prepare a hosted video tour of the property with a drone presentation of the views and rural aspect attracting multiple buyers from out of the county, predominately buyers who wanted to relocate. The sales negotiators came to our house before any viewings to familiarise themselves with all the selling points. Our buyers travelled from out of county & were a busy working family who upon first viewing had a good knowledge of our property and drawings for alterations based on the guided video tour and package. The marketing model could not have been better. We would use this company to view properties remotely before committing our time to travel if buying.- 10th Mar 2026 (8 weeks ago)The BEST Estate Agents we have ever dealt with!! Rebecca and Ginny have been outstanding! We have never had such proactive, caring, and personal service from any other agent with moving house. Totally changing the estate agent cliché. Nick and the team do an excellent job giving you regular feedback on viewings and follow up on the legal process on your behalf. The solicitor I used was very complimentary about the Bridgwater team. The levels of professionalism are excellent yet you still feel like they really care about you and they manage expectations and endeavour to get the best price possible for your property I have no problem in highly recommending Wilkie May, Nick and the team at Bridgwater
26th Jun 2025 (10 mo. ago)As Palmer Snell is part of a larger network, they had to deal with a central office which delayed thing at times. All the people, i dealt with were very pleasant and helpful. I was a little disappointed with the photography as all the staging was left to me and nothing was arranged to make it look better.

19th Nov 2025 (24 weeks ago)We just recently moved from Bristol to Cheddar. Laurel & Wylde weren't our estate agents but they were for our purchase. Jane May was excellent from start to finish she kept us updated (not only us the whole chain). I do believe if it wasn't for Jayne the move might not of happened. A massive thank you Jayne. If anyone is looking for help in selling & moving Laurel & Wylde are an absolute must 10 out of 10.

9th Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)After 10 days I changed estate agents as was not happy with Nest. They have no office they only advertise on Rightmove but didn't mention this before the ad went live. They were a grand more expensive than some other estate agents. My house was badly advertised at first like a kids Wendy house. No for sale sign turned up and I was given an EPC through the estate agent which was overpriced. This was all done by Oliver who was also about to go on leave for a week. I would not recommend Nest and only went with them as buying a new house through them.
