14th Apr 2026 (20 days ago)My partner and I recently bought our first home through Baker Wynne & Wilson and had a very disappointing experience. Communication was poor throughout, it was difficult to get through by phone, and when we did, staff often seemed frustrated with our questions rather than helpful or reassuring. We also received little to no updates during the process. On completion day, we were told the agents would call when the keys were ready, but after several unanswered calls, we had to go into the branch ourselves, only to be told the keys had been there for a while. When I queried why no one called me it was brushed off. Overall, we felt unsupported as first-time buyers and would not recommend this agent.

17th Apr 2026 (17 days ago)a problematic agency... You pay the deposit and then they make you call somewhere else to unlock the deposit. You call there, 3-4 times and when you get close to the end of the call they pretend to lose contact. and so on. Finally, when you manage to finish the conversation, they tell you that they will send you an email for confirmation, an email that no longer comes. The email comes, but from the agency where you rented the house, telling you that you have to call to confirm your identity. And you call DPS again and so on. Shitty agency!

Being able to WhatsApp / keep in contact out of normal hours was a real help. Emma kept us updated at each stage and even went above and beyond. We would highly recommend.

They were always there to help and answer questions and were a great help in keeping everything moving along smoothly. I know if we ever come to sell our house I'll be going straight to them.
14th Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)I do not usually write reviews, but having recently sold a property through Gascoigne Halman in Lymm, I wanted to share my experience. From start to finish, everyone in the office was professional, reactive and friendly. I'd like to make a special mention for Sam, who was amazing. She was proactive and kept me in the loop every step of the way. The process took a lot longer than the average sale, due to the chain, and Sam was constantly on top of things. I would definitely recommend this agency without hesitation. Thank you to the whole team!

Although Bridgfords weren’t acting as our agents, they were extremely helpful and professional throughout the process. Harry was fantastic in ensuring we had all the visits we needed to ensure we could make an informed decision. Chris and Steve were great in guiding us through the actual purchase. He really took the time to explain everything to us as first time buyers, and always gave the impression he really cared about us and our sale. He went out of his way to check in and make sure we had everything we needed, and I'd thoroughly recommend him.

10th Mar 2026 (8 weeks ago)Sold my house through Bridgefords. Bethany was very good at dealing with our very difficult sale. Lewis was always very helpful whenever I spoke to him. Other staff members I found very frustrating. Would ask them for information and then never hear from them. The estate agent I bought by my house through was always contacting me for updates because they said Bridgefords didn’t reply to her emails. I raised this with the manager and never got a response.

15th Apr 2026 (19 days ago)I have recently rented out my home through Lesley Hooks with the help of Claire & Charlie! Something that i thought was a daunting experienced turned out to be stress free and easy because of these two! I was really nervous with it being my first time and they explained all the things i needed to get in place and guided me through every step. It felt easy having them explain it all to me, they had all the contacts for all the certificates i needed and advised me on the landlord insurer they recommend. Lesley came to my property to take the photos and she was lovely! Her knowledge and experience is amazing. Claire really made me feel like i was in safe hands as she managed all my viewings of the property and kept me updated. Finding a tenant with Claire really took away my concerns and anxiety about the whole situation and she really did help me find the perfect couple for my home! I cannot recommend the experience i've had with Lesley Hooks enough simply because of these girls! They made the experience comfortable & easy, nothing was too much hassle for them and i didn't feel stressed like i thought i would! I actually ended up enjoying the experience of becoming a landlord for the first time in the end and i don't think i would have if i didn't have their help and guidance. 8th Apr 2026 (26 days ago)From start to finish of our sale, the service has been excellent. All staff at the Telford branch Wellington have been attentive and Helpful. When our first buyer fell through, Bethan was able to get us a better deal with the second buyers and it only took two days to sell the second time. A big thank for your efforts. Tracey was always there for us following the first sale. She was keen to help at all times answering our queries and progressed the sale most professionally. We can't thank her enough.
14th Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)When I read some of the old tenants’ reviews mentioning that the estate agent had deducted from their deposit, I was worried the same might happen to me. The garden wasn’t in perfect condition when I gave the key back, but I had painted most of the house, given it a deep clean, removed all nails, filled the holes, and repainted the whole room where needed. To my surprise, the estate agent didn’t claim a single penny from my deposit. This shows that if you return the property in a nice, clean, and well-maintained condition, they are fair and won’t deduct unnecessary charges. I’m very pleased with their professionalism, fairness, and helpful attitude. While living in the property, they were always cooperative and responsive whenever I needed assistance, which made my tenancy much smoother. Highly recommended — a trustworthy estate agent who values honesty and treats tenants respectfully.

Her communication, professionalism, and genuine care made the whole process so much smoother than we ever expected. Rita was always one step ahead — chasing things up, keeping us updated, and doing everything possible to make sure the sale went through. She’s honestly the most amazing person to deal with, and we can’t thank her enough for all her hard work and dedication. If you’re thinking about selling, we couldn’t recommend Rita and the team highly enough. She’s a true credit to the profession!
