She was super informative and explained everything clearly, but also made the whole experience feel relaxed and genuinely enjoyable. We really clicked with her and felt like we were in good hands throughout. She was professional, personable and just lovely to deal with. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer experience!

Jack was fantastic throughout the process — always communicating clearly, keeping us updated, and helping to chase things up with the sellers to keep everything moving. Really appreciated his help and would definitely recommend him and the team.

25th Aug 2026 (24 days ago)Unfortunately I did not have a positive experience with the Macclesfield branch.<br>I approached them in May 2026 to market my property, a terrace in the town centre. They were initially responsive to me and organised a valuation very quickly.<br>The photos were arranged reasonably quickly, but I had to chase them after their initial deadline passed to get the brochure and listing ready. It was then posted on Rightmove, Zoopla, and OnTheMarket.<br>In the meantime, I had agreed to an initial meeting with their mortgage advisor but somehow they mixed up my details and were phoning someone else with the same name - and they shared some of my details with the wrong person. There was no apology for this.<br>Using their app, I could see that my home had many views on Rightmove however this did not translate into viewings. After a couple of weeks I was contacted about a viewing and agreed to it despite it being on a day I had initially said I couldn't do, as the agent on the phone was quite pushy about it being this particular day. When the agent arrived it was someone who had never been to the property before and she was unprepared.<br>After no feedback or offer from the viewing, and no further viewings, I sent an email to the office to ask their advice as to how to generate some interest in the property. Someone called me back and left a voicemail, which I returned and was told they were unavailable but would call me back. They did not. I followed up via email, twice, to no response. In the intervening period I went into their office and found my property was not being advertised physically in the shop.<br>I therefore gave notice to the agent, which they are supposed to acknowledge. After a follow up email 2 days later, I phoned them 4 days after the initial notice was given to be told they couldnt find the notice letter in their inbox. Somehow it was then found but acknowledged with the wrong dates on it, so I had to phone again to get it adjusted.<br>The date the house was supposed to be withdrawn from market came and went. The house wasnt taken off the market, so I had to chase this up with them, too, until it was actioned. They have also not arranged to provide me my spare key back.<br>Overall, this was not a good experience. I understand the housing market is not fast moving at present however the communication and organisation of this estate agent was severely lacking in my experience.

6th Sep 2026 (12 days ago)Freddie was the essential part of our house sale. He was really helpful and kept us informed and on top of events in our chain. He liaised with our purchasers when our initial onward move fell through and saw our house sale through from viewing to completion, including conversations about leaving appliances. We had a great experience. Thank you Freddie for making our move a reality.
31st Aug 2026 (18 days ago)Wouldn't recommend for anyone wanting to rent a property.<br>Coming across your reply four years later, I can safely say it is completely pathetic. If you had actually bothered to check, you would know I dealt with your company as a tenant for years.<br>?I was the tenant your agency left over an entire weekend with the sink and dishwasher full of sh*t because the drains blocked completely due to poor construction. It was full of sewage because your maintenance team is useless and failed to treat a critical emergency urgently—all while a young child was living in the house. I should have sued both you and the landlord.<br>?Do you need me to attach the photos of the service that your company left me and my family over the weekend so you remember who I am? Or perhaps I should forward them to the local council so they are fully aware of what kind of company you run?<br>?You are a tenant’s absolute nightmare. I ended up buying the property directly from the owner—the very house I was renting through your agency—and right up until the contract exchange, your office was harassing me to leave. The harassment only stopped when I instructed my solicitor to call your office.<br>Instead apologising you came up with a pathetic reply.<br>Couldn't care less about your reply, unfortunately I have just come across it after years, otherwise it would have been a completely different story??????
12th Jul 2026 (10 weeks ago)Absolutely outstanding Estate Agents, from initial contact through to moving in to my new home.<br>They endeavoured to make everything run as it should be.<br><br>Winston ?????? a very highly trained service dog told me all I needed to know about the staff within minutes of visiting the Stockton Heath branch.<br>He wasn't wrong either 100% friendly, polite and exceptionally honest and professional.<br><br>After months of dealing with lots of various other agents, coming across the team at Mark Anthony Estate agents was very refreshing. Not only did they hear what I said however they listened too.<br><br>After an initial clients needs analysis re my requirements i was very quickly put in touch with what seemed to be the ideal home for myself and Winston ??????.<br><br>After the one and only viewing i immediately thought i can see myself living here.<br>3.5 months later I'm here in my new home settling in and getting unpacked / organised after 2 very hot draining days (the worst time to move apart from rain I.M.O).<br><br>The team worked very closely with everyone involved including regular updates to my solicitor, that in itself was extremely helpful.<br>I honestly don't believe after our initial point of contact I had to call them once !!<br><br>They only got in touch with myself when they needed to making the whole process stressfree and a very easy pleasant one.<br><br>I honestly can't recommend or thank the Stockton Heath team enough.<br>For me this is exactly what an estate agent should look like, they certainly set the standard leading by example in the Warrington area.<br><br>I had other estate agents sending me to view properties coming up with reasons why I should view them rather than listening to my needs in the first place.<br>The amount of other properties I viewed and the time wasted was in itself a gruelling affair, often leaving myself frustrated and annoyed.<br><br>As mentioned these were the complete opposite more interested in finding the right property for their clients rather then getting viewings done for all the wrong reasons.<br><br>10/10 from me, I have no hesitation recommending them to clients looking for properties to buy.<br>I can't comment re selling as I moved from out of area.<br>That said there is no doubt in my mind that these would be the ones to use, connecting real buyers with sellers.<br><br>Thanks to all the team,<br><br>Andrew and Winston ?????? ??????????????????
1st Aug 2026 (7 weeks ago)Ashtons where brilliant when we were buying our home, easily booked viewings and got to see property’s within a day or two.<br><br>When we made an offer and it got accepted they kept us up to date all the way through to completion!<br><br>I especially appreciated Katy, who was so kind caring and made me feel so at ease through that whole process. With being a first time buyer I was unsure on some things, and I felt I could ask her anything and it was never too much.<br><br>I honestly felt like she was just as happy as I was when I got the keys!<br><br>Thankyou to the whole Ashtons team, and an extra special thankyou to Katy!!

2nd Sep 2026 (16 days ago)Absolutely avoid<br><br>The most unprofessional and unhelpful letting agency I think I have ever encountered.<br><br>Our experience with Butters John Bee has been appalling from start to finish. Calls and emails have repeatedly been ignored, sometimes for months, and we have then been told that they have “no information” about issues that we had already reported and chased multiple times. The complete lack of communication and accountability is frankly unacceptable.<br><br>Maintenance issues were left unresolved for months, despite being reported. There was very little urgency or concern shown, and we were left feeling as though tenants simply aren’t a priority once the rent is being paid.<br><br>Unfortunately, the problems continued when we tried to leave the property. We were not provided with the correct information regarding the notice requirements, and despite repeatedly trying to contact them and clarify the situation, we were ignored for months. We were then left dealing with the consequences of information and communication failures that were completely outside of our control.<br><br>What has been particularly disappointing is the complete lack of care or helpfulness throughout the process. From our experience, it genuinely feels as though their primary concern is collecting the rent, rather than the welfare, circumstances or concerns of the people actually living in the properties they manage.<br><br>A letting agency should communicate with its tenants, deal with maintenance issues promptly, provide accurate information and actually be willing to help when problems arise. Unfortunately, we experienced none of this consistently.<br><br>We have spent far too much time chasing emails, making calls and trying to get basic answers to issues that should never have become this difficult in the first place.<br><br>If you are considering renting through Butters John Bee, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Based on our experience, avoid them at all costs.

The guys made it happen, I rang after I found the property that was just what I needed for me and my boys and dogs and the team had us all in within just 5 days. Communication was clear and anything I needed to know there was an answer or even stuff after I’ve moved in to help sorting utilities out the team was there. Thank you 10/10 team!
