19th May 2021 (5 years ago)Rented a flat with them for 3 years. Very reactive when there is an issue, sending professionals to fix it within hours. No issue with getting back our deposit. Very transparent and honest, not like most letting agencies in London. I recommend.
3rd Aug 2021 (5 years ago)When I phoned, no response, simply the sound of someone cooking, and I waited about a minute. You wouldn't believe it, still no response. Bunch of timewasters.

1st May 2023 (3 years ago)Robinson Marsh initially proposed £748 of deposit deductions two months after we moved out after loads of chasing. We had to go through deposits protection scheme ‘MyDeposits’ who had 2 star reviews for always siding with agencies. Even with the biased protection scheme they lowered the deductions to £295 (saving us £453) despite not reviewing 90% of our evidence properly. They solely used the check-out inventory as evidence despite our entire argument being we submitted extra photos of stained carpets & other damages at check in which never got included.
The agency deliberately used a different check-out company to the one who did the check-in and so when they did their check-out report they had none of our additional photos & check-in evidence.)
Other problems included:
- Agency illegally trying to kick us out with one month notice despite the contract saying two months had to be given. They eventually backtracked on this.
- Agency not fixing any of the problems we asked them to fix in at check-in including blocked drains which they then went on to try and charge us for at check-out despite us putting up with one working sink all year.
- Zero communication once moving out. Ignoring hundreds of calls and emails asking about our deposit.
- Illegally the agency never actually put our deposit in the protection scheme and had to transfer them the money only post us moving out with lots of chasing.

21st Feb 2026 (8 mo. ago)I strongly advise landlords to be extremely cautious when dealing with Fair Links Estate Agents. My experience has been deeply disappointing and has resulted in significant financial loss. The company Directors, Ali Muhammad and Arif Muhammad, were friends with the tenant and looked at his interest rather than the Landlords.
Throughout the tenancy, my concerns and formal complaints were repeatedly ignored. Communication was poor, emails and letters went unanswered, and I felt that issues were consistently avoided rather than resolved.
The tenant Mir Ikhlaq was placed in my property, which fell into substantial arrears—over £30,000—yet despite the agent being fully aware of the outstanding amount, the deposit was released without my consent. This goes against the expectations of transparency and proper procedure under the government?approved deposit protection schemes.
When the tenants were finally evicted, the property was left in an unacceptable condition, including hygiene issues and evidence of pests.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Fair Links Estate Agents to any landlord. I would urge others to proceed with caution and ensure they have robust safeguards in place before entrusting their property to this agency.

The flat wasn’t professionally cleaned as told prior, no inventory and trying to get in touch to resolve an issue seems impossible as your just passed to one person then the other with no solution. Really disheartening.png)

3rd Jul 2019 (7 years ago)Was really glad to have chosen ProCities services. Everything went down really nice and smooth and more importantly quick. Communication’s via email and phone were also great and the overall process as a new tenant was fantastic and agents were very helpful at all times.

18th Dec 2025 (10 mo. ago)This agency gives me rather dubious vibes. There are no Google reviews, and the only review I’ve been able to find mirrors my experience exactly.
We have been attempting to arrange a viewing for over a week. When they eventually responded, it was via a late-evening text message suggesting a Sunday viewing at a very specific time, with no alternative offered.
I’ve never previously encountered Sunday viewings, but more concerning was the complete lack of flexibility or willingness to accommodate. As a prospective buyer, this has been enough to put me off the property altogether, as I can only assume the process would be equally difficult further down the line.- This agent doesn't have any reviews
