Jodie has been nice and quick. She was available to answer to my question the evening afterwork which was helpful. And the flat we have from them is really nice and cool!!
It was going so well for a couple years.
Now our property management agent is shirking us off with emails which include hollow assurances and smiley faces (-which I usually enjoy, but not in response to serious complaints about rats and broken toilets..) and asking us as tenants to supply information on neighbouring flats that they should hold as a professional duty.
I am happy to change my review @blakestanley in the event of some action - until recently we have been satisfied. These glossy-faced empty emails we get in response to complaints which lead nowhere have led me here and you to a 1-star review. What is your job?
Keatons gave us good, straight forward advice at the beginning of the process. The photography was professional and the marketing of our flat looked great. After we'd accepted an offer, Stuart was great at keeping the process moving along by gently keeping all parties in touch with each other.
Initially, I had a decent level of service - valuation and photography went well.
Inevitably, as soon as we agreed to go on with Keatons we were left in hands of junior sales team who simply didn't add anything in terms of sales skills. Overheard dreadful blind alley sales speak and otherwise subdued delivery.
Negligible communication throughout. Evidently a substandard database of viewers compared with Foxtons and others.
Really think the House Simple/ Purple Bricks platform model is going to cut in half the number of houses sold by agents if this experience is anything to go on.
We recently sold our flat with LL in what has become a tricky and changing market. The sale was at times difficult but Vicky, Tim, Peter and Donna were a great support and managed to keep the sale on track. Tim in particular was always on hand to give advice and feedback. Local knowledge is extremely important in this market and Vicky and her team are well connected to the community. Our view is this is very important when selling at this time to really understand your potential buyers. Thanks LL we got there!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! The experience I have had with this company has been horrible. These people have been unprofessional, rude and irrational. In my dealings with them I have had to face a monument of frustration. Furthermore, Mr Asad Riaz was a very brash man who was completely unreasonable throughout and would always have to have the last word BUYER BEWARE! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO AVOID FRUSTRATION AND IRRATIONALITY!!!
Allen Davies is just about the only estate agent in Leyton, if not London, that actually treats its tenants like human beings rather than a cash sum every month.
We've been very happily renting from them for 3 years now, and while the issues have been very few and far between, where they have arisen, they've always been straight on it. Contact is routine in both directions and inspections are carried out not just to check the property is being cared for but that it is caring for the tenants as well.
Dropping into the office is always a pleasure as well should you need anything.
Can't say it enough: these guys are great at what they do.
I was not technically a client as I was a buyer but was very happy with the service. Tony Strover was always very prompt at dealing with enquiries and made an extremely stressful process more bearable. Would definitely consider using in the future.
After months of searching for a house for my family with no success. I called the Castles office in Hackney regarding a house they were selling. From the first moment I spoke to Max right through to completion he was by far the best estate agent I've ever dealt with. During the early part of my search for a property I had some awful experiences with some agents but my purchase went through so smoothly and Max handled everything with absolute professionalism and calmness. Thanks Max for restoring my faith in estate agents!
We had such a great experience with Castles. Everyone in the office is extremely helpful and supportive. We changed agents and were very happy that we did. The whole approach of Castles to the business side of things makes everything easy and not at all corporate and impersonal. Highly recommended.
I would like highly recommend Michal Bocian to anyone. He is super good person and he is very professional. I am the owner of the property at Canary Wharf and I used to work with him since 2010 until Michal changed the office, to Hackney. Firstly, he always can find a tenant for any property or a property for any tenant. Somehow, he knows what everybody wants and he matches the people with property. Secondly, I never had property empty more than 6 weeks and it means that nobody ever looked the property to rent for too long. Lastly, and it is very important, if we would have any issue between tenant and landlord - magically, he always helped. I am very sorry that he left Canary Wharf but I hope that his new clients also will be happy as we were and our tenants over the last 6 years!
'Many thanks for taking the trouble to drive me to see four properties on Friday and Saturday. I am very grateful for the time that we spent talking through my family circumstances and aims in relation to the purchase of a new property. Our conversations about the pros and cons of each flat were very helpful. I especially appreciate the fact that you were happy to talk things through, also, with my daughters. At no time did we feel under any pressure or obligation to make a hasty decision - this would certainly have put me off. Three of the four places that you selected for viewing would have been suitable for us because you took time at the outset to be clear about exactly what it is that I'm looking for. Well done! Having taken so much care, you have helped to reduce my stress in searching for a suitable investment.'
