They helped me find a good flat in a really good area, at a price way bellow the average. I was out of the country at the time and the whole process was straightforward and easy, from exchange of documents to a Skype visit of the house. Lived in that flat, managed by them, for 2 years. Always prompt, always quick to arrange for repairs. I would recommend them in a heartbeat :)
These guys treated us like delinquents once they take the deposit from us. Their aim then is just see you leave at the end of the tenancy since they will charge new fees to the next tenant. They will not allow you to talk with the landlord (the name is not even in the contract). They will not take care of anything since they want you to leave as soon as possible. They will charge you for any service, reference letters etc, even the copy of the keys (and it will not be cheap). They will not answer to you emails and even if you go to their office in person you will be treated as a delinquent. Absolutely disgracefull.
I recently used KFH Islington and they were a pleasure to deal with. Carla and Esme helped through the whole process. Fast and efficient. Great agents
Very rude, incompetent staff.
Khan Cohen in particular. Assisted landlord in trying to scam me out of my deposit.
Once entered my flat without permission as they mistook it for another flat they were selling me. Scared the living daylights out of me.
Avoid at all costs.
In response, the deposit scheme did not find in the landlord's favour.
Khan Cohen assisted the landlord in producing a forged invoice from her own company.
Thanks for your response ????
I would just like to express how fantastic and professional my lettings consultant Elizabeth Marshall from the Canary Wharf office has been throughout the process of my move to London. She has gone above and beyond to get everything organised in securing my apartment in a timely manner and has made the relocation completely stress free. From liaising with the landlord abroad, to ensuring all my personal requests were met, she really did get matters running smoothly. She ensured all my queries were explained thoroughly from the get go, highlighting the contractual terms, managed all paperwork quickly and accurately, and kept me fully updated at all times, even after working hours. Elizabeth was very clear from the first phone call, giving me a full breakdown of fees and explained exactly what was required from me procedurally. Everything was straightforward, with no hidden extras! Would definitely recommend you to ask for Elizabeth in the Canary Wharf office, she is wonderful at her job and a breath of fresh air! I will no doubt be returning to her in the near future, thanks Elizabeth!
MorgaRandall, The worst of the worst! Whatever you imagine about the service related to tenancy, this agent would be at the bottom, apart from finding you a new house after all. They are eager to find it on the initial several days but THAT'S IT!!
You might get no replies for 10 times of emails by the time when you put your holding deposit in. You might be in trouble as the move-in date would be postponed like me and you may have to wash up your cloth with your hands as the washing machine would stay out of work.
For me, It has passed 18days since I moved in.
I am in a disaster with a stack of dirty cloth, wiggly dinning chairs and not working ventilation and lights in the kitchen. While I first visited this flat to view there was a TV, but the TV has gone on the move-in date. The consultant was Elizabeth and she said "it belonged to the previous tenant. What is wrong?" I had to bought a TV at my expense. They advertised it was furnished and they insisted a furnished flat doesn't mean it provide a TV. She even added "it is very rare to provide a TV when it is a furnished flat." Nonsense!
Anyway at least the consultant should notify me if there was a big removal or big changes between the viewing and the move-in date but there was no excuse or information before I agreed the contract.
Negligent to keep you updated and ignorance of your request and just a representative of a Landlord who doesn't listen to tenants' voice. Those are my impression on MorganRandall.
Just got my new home! Guys are amazing, everything went smoothly :) found a house in 3 days, from that point just had to wait and sign a few papers. Quick replying to all my emails. Special thanks to Luke
Very disappointed with the Leyton branch. The sales manager Mr Leonard was dishonest and lied to me repeatedly and never contacted me back. He then left the company with no warning and didn't update his colleagues with any information regarding my offer on a property they were selling.
Had an excellent service from both Karen and Izabela in the Stratford office. They were very quick to find some excellent tenants for my flat in Maryland and it was a pleasure to deal with such kind, helpful staff who went above all expectations. Would definitely recommend other landlords here.
One of the estate agents here was incredibly rude to my mother. We came in and asked if it was possible to have a viewing of a house a little earlier, and he was incredibly rude and actually sent us away. When the actual viewing was meant to take place, he then sent a colleague instead of coming himself. When my mother then made an offer on the house, her emails were ignored for over 24 hours (which is incredibly rude considering she is literally offering them money) and when they did get back to her the agent actually had the audacity to call her up and have a row with her down the phone because the offer was too low. Absolutely abysmal service and experience, and would not recommend at all.
I have worked with Dexters Hackney for many many years, they did a stellar job in managing my rental for many years whilst I was away in Dubai and with the sale of the same flat that completed this week - i could not have asked for a better team to handle the very delicate sale. You cant go wrong going with Dexters.
I am enjoying their unsolicited post ever since my house was put on the market through a different estate agent.
I especially enjoyed queuing up for twenty minutes in the post office to pick up a letter that had postage due on it. This turned out to be another one of Dexter's unsolicited letters that they had failed to put any postage on.
