Keatons have been a great letting agency to work with. Edmund was a breath of fresh air as he wasn't overly pushy during property discussions (unlike and was very accommodating when we were running late for our viewing. They've been supportive with the whole process as we were working through the tenancy agreement negotiations and we have ended up renting a property that we love!
Initially, I had a decent level of service - valuation and photography went well.
Inevitably, as soon as we agreed to go on with Keatons we were left in hands of junior sales team who simply didn't add anything in terms of sales skills. Overheard dreadful blind alley sales speak and otherwise subdued delivery.
Negligible communication throughout. Evidently a substandard database of viewers compared with Foxtons and others.
Really think the House Simple/ Purple Bricks platform model is going to cut in half the number of houses sold by agents if this experience is anything to go on.
I have recently sold my house through Keatons in Stratford. They were great throughout the whole process and made it seem so straightforward. We will definitely be recommending them to our friends still in the area.
I am single mother rented a property for two years from Keatons and never missed rent payment looked after the flat as I am mature and clean person after two years they said land lord decided to sell apartment and I should leave the flat. They harassed me with phone calls agent turning to the property without prior notice I felt intimidated specially when one time saw agent trying to open my flat with the copy they had their excuse was the knocked and no body answered,, till this day I am scared to open doors and have three locks, I found out that the land lord never sold flat they just increased rent and rented it to some family 35% more than what I used to pay. You are rubbish agents gangsters and criminals.
Allen Davies is just about the only estate agent in Leyton, if not London, that actually treats its tenants like human beings rather than a cash sum every month.
We've been very happily renting from them for 3 years now, and while the issues have been very few and far between, where they have arisen, they've always been straight on it. Contact is routine in both directions and inspections are carried out not just to check the property is being cared for but that it is caring for the tenants as well.
Dropping into the office is always a pleasure as well should you need anything.
Can't say it enough: these guys are great at what they do.
thieves and scammers!!!!
do not rent flats from them !!! scammers have rented a house to someone who has already been rented a lot earlier, liars and cheaters, I have never met such a non-professional agency
My ninth house move, the most tricky in many ways but Castles managed to close the deal for me in a difficult market. Best estate agent I have worked with, experienced, sensitive and above all competent. If you want to sell your home I would suggest that Castles is the go to agent.
I would not hesitate to recommend Castles. David and Max were exemplary in their handling of the sale of my flat from start to finish. I was seriously considering going with an online agent but I'm so pleased i didn't because I really don't think they would have handled the after offer negotiations in such a professional and cordial manner. They were always quick to respond, transparent throughout and offered help and advice throughout the process.
I would like highly recommend Michal Bocian to anyone. He is super good person and he is very professional. I am the owner of the property at Canary Wharf and I used to work with him since 2010 until Michal changed the office, to Hackney. Firstly, he always can find a tenant for any property or a property for any tenant. Somehow, he knows what everybody wants and he matches the people with property. Secondly, I never had property empty more than 6 weeks and it means that nobody ever looked the property to rent for too long. Lastly, and it is very important, if we would have any issue between tenant and landlord - magically, he always helped. I am very sorry that he left Canary Wharf but I hope that his new clients also will be happy as we were and our tenants over the last 6 years!
Agreed to work with Foxtons for the sale of my property. I suggested an Open Day to which they said it would probably not generate enough people through the door. A few weeks after the property went on the market Foxtons suggested a reduction in asking price by 200k, reason - because of Brexit. Once that is done, still very few viewings and another reduction in asking price suggested. Realised they were all talk and did not seem to know what they were doing so dropped them as fast as I could, went to another estate agent had an Open Day with 7 couples through the door and 3 offers and got what I wanted.
18 Stoke Newington Church Street, Stoke Newington, London
Location Location have been great from start to finish with our rental. They were sensitive to our criteria and showed us properties that really suited us. Adam and Will were brilliant throughout the application process and really looked after us. Atypical real estate agents in the best way possible.
Jamie helped us in our search for our first home around Stoke Newington and took the time to understand what our property needs were and often showed us new properties before they were fully advertised giving us the best shot at putting in bids. We loved how relaxed the viewings were with him and that Location Location were on top of communications and replying to questions quickly without being overbearing. We viewed a lot of properties through different agents and definitely thought Location Location were the best by a mile and when we look to upgrade in a few years will definitely pick them.
