She was always on hand to answer any questions we had and made sure to discuss new information with us as soon as she had it. 16th Sep 2023 (8 mo. ago)I recently put my property up for sale with Drummond Miller. The “selling” part of this service was poor. It appeared as if the leading agent, Robert, didn’t care in the slightest, as emphasised by the very nonchalant responses to my queries throughout. My ad was also full of errors (including my address) and when pointed out I was assured this would be changed, which it wasn’t, prior to going live. Once sold I can’t fault the service in terms of the sale and legal work. Pam was professional, helpful and reassuring throughout the remainder of the process. I have mixed feelings towards Drummond Miller LLP now but due to the poor initial service I wouldn’t recommend.

Communication throughout the process was excellent and once we accepted the offer on our house the legal team at Thorntons were equally exceptional. Our solicitor was always on hand to answer our questions and provide us with best advice. Thank you for taking the stress out of selling a house!
2nd May 2024 (16 days ago)Gillian and the team at Urquhart were exceptional throughout the recent purchase of our new home in Edinburgh. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gillian. She combined a friendly and approachable manner with expertise, professionalism and local knowledge. Being especially responsive and attentive to the fact we were not from the area, all issues were addressed immediately with clear communication to drive a quick resolution for us to complete the purchase of our flat in the beautiful city of Edinburgh.- 12th Jul 2022 (1 year ago)Horrible agency, especially the agent's attitude when calling them. Faked the inventory report when I moved in, everything is a mess when I moved in.
13th Nov 2023 (6 mo. ago)Upon moving out, I repeatedly contacted them to release my deposit. Unfortunately, even after a month has passed, my deposit remains unreleased. Following persistent follow-ups, they informed me that they had hired a "sparkle clean" service and would be sending me an invoice for the cleaning expenses. Ironically, I had already hired a professional cleaner to ensure the property was left in impeccable condition before my departure. The house was in a cleaner state than when I first moved in. It is disheartening to note that despite my efforts and the clear state of the property, they continue to withhold my deposit. Their reluctance to return the deposit, coupled with their evasive actions, strongly suggests unethical practices. They are absolute scammers, and I strongly advise others to avoid engaging with them at any cost.

They expertly guided me through the process of paying off my shared equity loan, making it seamless. Although there was a brief period of missed communication, Claire quickly addressed it and ensured everything was handled promptly and professionally. Overall it was very good. Highly recommended!
