Despite us being abroad when the viewings took place, CastleBrae team kindly arranged a virtual viewing so we don't miss out on the property we were very interested in. Everything else went smoothly from there. They have been a pleasure to deal with.
19th Apr 2024 (17 days ago)Phoned to arrange a viewing - was text to arrange it; which I think is pretty unprofessional. Went for a viewing today and was there for a whole 7 minutes before another family arrived and we where just discarded to be exact “thanks for coming” and then walked off - no goodbye, no arrangement to contact to see how we felt about the house. We actually wanted to have one more walk through but clearly that wasn’t going to happen as agent had sent the other family in. Very rude and unprofessional.

26th Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)I requested a visit for a valuation at Allen & Harris estate agents and had a date booked. I was allocated an estate agent from the start and he made contact with me by email to introduce himself. This gave me reassurance and comfort that I had a direct contact with an estate agent from the beginning and I didn't have to call a shop and wait to be put through to speak to an estate agent. Due to a change of circumstances I had to change date of valuation and contacted Tony my estate agent to see if he could attend my home that same day. To my surprise Tony fitted me in for a valuation the same day! I was delighted with the service. It was unhurried, straight to the point and most importantly I didn't feel under pressure to choose them. The whole visit was finished within 45 mins which suited me as I had other things to do that day. More importantly Allen & Harris had the best rates compared to other estate agents. Since choosing Allen & Harris I have been in contact with my estate agent Tony nearly everyday asking questions and finalising my plans. Tony always returns my emails promptly and nothing is ever a hassle! I wasn't looking forward to having estate agents visit my house and listen to their marketing spiel but Tony was different and made choosing an estate agents easier than expected. I would highly recommend Tony at Allen & Harris, Stirling.
8th Apr 2024 (28 days ago)We were delighted to work with McDougall McQueen on the purchase of our new property, having had a great experience on a previous purchase. Most recently, our solicitor Susan Oates managed our sale and purchase transactions with great professionalism, managing to negotiate a rather complex missives agreement ahead of our planned completion date, while keeping us informed and updated at all times. The excellent service has continued after the sale was completed while we closed out a number of material issues with our property. I would be happy to recommend McDougall McQueen and consider their services to provide excellent value for money and help to take the stress out of a house move.

Peter and his team know what they are doing and provide the standard of service you would expect from a company at this level, easily. I cannot recommend Savills highly enough and will certainly use them again in any property sale or purchase.

Quite different from my experience with other estate agents whom I have used in the past. 100% top class service
27th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)We highly recommend R&G Estate Agents who sold our daughter’s flat within a couple of days of this being put on the market. Maria and Victoria couldn’t have been more helpful and efficient. Response time was minimal and communication was excellent throughout. They really went out of their way to be helpful and the service they provided was outstanding.

9th Apr 2024 (27 days ago)Absolutely would NOT recommend to anyone. Poor service. Impolite staff. Scraping the bottom of the barrel to take your deposit, after being forced to leave after only 7 month tenancy due to the poor condition of the property overall, from weeks without heating and cooker/ oven, to damp and mould issues causing illness to name only a few. You have to chase everything as promises to call you back don’t happen, they don’t want to deal with it and can’t get you off the phone quick enough when there’s issues. I could honestly go on and on about all the service failings throughout. Felt forced to accept a ridiculous deposit reduction as I could not deal with the stress they had caused any longer throughout and after the tenancy. Would NEVER trust to rent a property through them again personally. *EDIT To your response, you’re very good at passing blame to the landlord, you failed to accept responsibility for your service shortcomings, failed to acknowledge the poor condition of the property i had to live in, or rude staff encounters. I tend to only leave positive reviews, this has nothing to do with "a kick on the way out". Northwood Falkirk has been far from a delight to deal with, thats all.
5th Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)Antionette and her team are fabulous! From first valuation right through the sale process and even after they were in touch regularly and so helpful. I didn't think I'd have so much fun selling my house but you can't help having a laugh and a gossip with Calvin on the phone while you're trying to plan viewings and moving dates. They really kept me calm throughout the whole process and were a joy to work with. I'd absolutely recommend and would use again (not that I'm planning to!) Thanks Antoinette and team!!

16th Nov 2023 (25 weeks ago)Had the misfortune of being recommended this firm and decided to use them to handle my divorce. Huge mistake. Mr Tait provided a thoroughly shocking service representing me. I won’t bore with specifics but some highlights are: Failed to turn up to court once and failed to be prepared a second time resulting in the sheriff awarding damages against me - which his firm absorbed as it was their fault. Or so they said, the final bill breakdown was so flimsy I suspect he just charged me extras elsewhere to cover this. Money (a huge amount) paid to him to be sent to another Falkirk firm took SIX WEEKS and many threats to finally be transferred. This should have taken less than 48 hours. Final bill double original estimate. His representation was so shoddy I looked at taking them to to Ombudsman, and a solicitor agreed I had a case but in the end decided it was too much stress. I wish I’d looked at google reviews first, the service was horrific and cost me a fortune as well as a lot of stress. They are slow, terrible communicators and the office practices are stuck in the past. Lesley Anderson Law was the solicitor for the other side and seemed to do a formidable job. But in all honesty I’d recommend the ambulance chasing lawyer from The Simpsons over Mr Tait.
