1st Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)We've visited a property to let with John D Wood. We liked the property, and sent an offer. Offer accepted. So we paid the holding deposit. We went through the referencing, very long and time consuming. It took 15 days to have a feedback. And the feedback was : we can't reference you because your tax returns were from France, not from the UK. The letting agent offered us to pay all the rents (18 months) upfront, to skip the reference. We obviously refused. And we started panicking, because our move out date from our current property was approaching... We quickly visited other properties. We found a house to let through another letting agency. The referencing took literally 2 days, and we had no issues (they accepted tax returns from France). Luckily, we have been able to find house to let in time. John D Wood came back to us, in the meanwhile, saying that the landlord had finally accepted to rent us his property, even if our tax returns were from France. But it was too late. We had already found another house. But John D Wood is refusing to reimburse our holding deposit, because they say that it's our decision not to let this house and that our offer was accepted by the landlord. So we now have to enter into a legal fight. I would highly recommend NOT to work with John D Wood.

He listened closely to what we were looking for and brought us to see good matches for our needs. Couldn’t have asked for a more helpful, friendly or engaged person to help me. Can’t recommend Sam or Foxtons more highly!
5th Apr 2024 (29 days ago)Staff that work at the Chelsea Bridge Wharf (Queenstown Road) are absolutely horrendous. Anytime a tenant would need help, you had to call and email them numerous times to get anything moving, as if it wasn’t their job. Property manager Venice is the rudest and the most useless person I have ever had to deal with. Absolutely do not recommend this agency and this particular branch, there are so many more better and ACTUALLY helpful agencies, where staff are able and capable to actually HELP the tenants, because remember- renting is not just paying the rent and collecting the keys, as things break, situations happen, neighbours exist - and you need a helpful and educated agency to deal with that if you need help

26th Apr 2024 (8 days ago)If there was minus 5 stars, I would have chosen it. The worst experience in my life with an agency really. I have just recently had surgery, and still did my best to show up early for the scheduled viewing. However, no one showed up, and it's completely unprofessional. They did not even call, or send an email to say they cannot attend. Very disrespectful. I recommend this to no one at all. Horrendous experience. No respect for others.

Grace Foster was also very helpful. When it came to selling, Phil Cantell was of great service, finding the buyer first and then helping maintain good communication with them throughout. Highly recommended. Thanks to all.

17th Apr 2024 (17 days ago)We used a couple of agents selling the flat with not much happening and decoded to go with Carter Jonas and got a Sale, we wish we had used them in the first place. Staff are fantastic especially Leo, lots of viewings and very informative as the Sale goes on. I would highly recommend this extremely professional company.

I cannot put in words how incredible it was with him guiding us through a difficult and bumpy ride. He was always at the end of the phone. He is a top professional, very knowledgeable and well-informed about the current market. Very importantly, he is very generous with his time, well-mannered and an excellent communicator. His local knowledge is simply outstanding.
20th Apr 2024 (14 days ago)Had a property viewing booked well in advance for today at 2.30 with Hulya Baillie. I was running 5 minutes late and informed the agency. They said it was fine and she will wait. Arrived there and waited 25 minutes, no one showed up. Called the office and they just kept saying to wait and that they couldn't get through to the team who does the viewings. No one ever showed. Wasted my time completely and I travelled half an hour to get here and paid a bus journey. I am a hard working teacher who doesn't get free time easily so this was very frustrating. Will not be dealing with this unprofessional agency again.

He has been superb in the sale of our house and went above and beyond to ensure that our sale went ahead. From the beginning to the end he has had a positive outlook. On our viewings he was bright and bubbly and ensured that the viewers were made aware of the benefits of our property,. When we eventually agreed a sale we had a long process due to the fact that the buyers held up matters, however Rhys would always be pressing to try and speed up the process and always kept us up to date and informed. At one stage our buyer went abroad, Rhys was on calls to our buyer at 1030 at night trying to deal with their queries in an attempt to push our sale through. We can’t thank Rhys enough for what he did for us. He is a real credit to his trade and we would throughly recommend using him to friends and family. Again thank you Rhys Henry

Winnie at Circa EC2 helped me with putting an offer in for a property and getting terms and requests approved with the landlord in a very communicative way that advocated for me as a prospective tenant as much as for the landlord, something all too rare in the London market. I would highly recommend Circa to anyone searching for a flat in London over any other letting agent I have used.- 18th Feb 2024 (11 weeks ago)Curtis helped arrange a number of viewings for me.
