Ollie Fuller was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was very responsive and knowledgeable. Thank you.
Absolute nightmare. Foxtons have failed to deliver on any of their responsibilities. The only time they were really keen on getting things done is when it was our turn to pay 6 months' rent up front. They didn't get the apartment cleaned before our arrival, despite delaying our move-in to allow time for them to do so, they didn't provide a 2nd set of keys, despite promising to do so and were rude and unhelpful every step of the way. One piece of the paperwork we were supposed to provide was missing (because they told me it was not necessary) and one of their agents actually said "Well I'm not letting you move in without [the document]". On top of the advertised admin fees were were presented with around £300 of hidden extra charges as well as a 2% credit card charge, which they failed to warn us about, which again was in the £300 range, their service costing over 2x as much in the end than advertised. I would never recommend them to anyone. I know they have a large range of flats on offer, but I would urge everyone to do their best to avoid Foxtons.
I would like to thanks to Mr.Chris Jeffrey who was so helpful and professional. While I had little response from any one at Foxton he was doing an unbelievable follow up. Extremely efficient. Wish I could say the same about the Management department....unfortunately not. So avoid them for your flat. But Mr. Jeffrey stands out! Thank you!
Update: Since the below wasn’t enough, Foxtons have upped their game to be truly the worst of the worst. Over three months before our tenancy is set to end, Foxtons agents without prior notice or consent entered our home and conducted viewings! When confronted with the facts, no apology was made for their actions and James Hankin (the new office manager) even had the gall to address us in a condescending and argumentative manner. Furthermore, he cited his ‘right’ to enter our home, which completely goes against the law, let alone the contract that Foxtons themselves drew up. Future tenants, I cannot stress how much you should avoid this agency.
While you expect London lettings agencies to be brutal, Foxtons Fulham cranks it up a notch. Tenants beware. We placed a conditional offer on a property that was accepted based on conditions. We then signed the let contract based on our offer's acceptance by the landlord. When the landlord failed to deliver on the offer conditions we went back to Foxtons. They shrugged their shoulders, said too bad and that the landlord doesn't need to keep their end of the deal. Alex Cima and Rupert Simmonds over-promise, under deliver and will blatantly lie to seal the deal in favour of the landlord.
I find that Ms. Antonia Lambert very professional. She is proactive and efficient in organizing viewings of properties. She has warm personalty and is always well prepared for the viewings. She is not a hard sale instead she is interested in helping clients finding the right property. She makes people feel at easy in working with her in long terms. Highly recommended.
Did not sell the sub £1m property within a 2 month marketing period. However, they got a decent number of viewings in, the marketing materials were good and the team was relatively easy to communicate with.
HIGHLY recommend! Victoria sold our house at asking price in record time. She was also efficient and incredibly helpful. THank you Savills!
Working with Victoria Ball from Savills on our first home purchase was an absolute pleasure. She was by far the most responsible and diligent person involved in the home buying process, and instilled a lot of confidence that things would move smoothly. She was incredibly responsive, always quick to return calls, and was my go-to person anytime we seemed to hit a snag. I highly recommend working with Victoria, and intend to do so myself on any future transactions.
The best experience with an estate agent by far, seamless from start to finish and the paperwork process very efficient. I can’t recommend Laurie Howard enough she was very courteous and a pleasure to deal with.
I tried to visit a flat with Foxtons, but it seems they have no focus on clients at all and no flexibility. If you don’t what they want, they don’t show you the flat. Such a terrible and basic error: the focus of any company should be the client, respecting client needs and availability to visit flats. Felt really disrespected.
