20th Jul 2026 (8 weeks ago)As Executor, I have recently had to sell my Late Mother's home (my childhood home). We asked more than one Estate Agent to view the property before deciding on Stags. The reason for our choice was, in large part, because, on Luke's first visit, he had clearly researched the property in advance, and then gave both a quantitative and qualitative basis for his recommended asking price.<br>Throughout the sale process, Luke and his colleagues were very supportive. They kept me informed of progress, liaised with my conveyancer and were responsive and helpful whenever I had any questions.

22nd Aug 2026 (26 days ago)Best estate agents we've ever dealt with!<br><br>We cannot recommend Coast & Country highly enough, and in particular Callum who was absolutely brilliant throughout.<br><br>We had the misfortune of two sales falling through (through no fault of coast & country), but the team worked effortlessly to get us a new buyer, usually within a week or two! After our agreed sale, Callum kept in contact weekly to update us on how the chain was progressing which gave us so much reassurance.<br><br>From start to finish the whole team were professional, responsive and genuinely cared. The fact that Zoe and Charlotte took the time to familarise themselves with our property before commencing viewings was a professional and personal touch we had not had before. We also viewed a few properties to purchase with them as well and they were also brilliant.<br>Darren was also excellent from the initial appraisal through to handing our keys over on completion.<br><br>After a bad experience with a different agency, Coast & Country restored our faith and trust in estate agents. If you want agents who actually work for you and care, use Coast & Country.<br><br>We would 100% use them again and have already recommended them to friends.

Cameron, the Branch Manager, was fantastic from the very first valuation. He was professional, knowledgeable and approachable, taking the time to explain the current market, the marketing strategy and how best to achieve the strongest possible result. We felt confident in his advice from day one and never felt under any pressure. Once the property was on the market, Catherine and Debbie were absolutely brilliant. They kept us updated throughout the entire process, handled viewings and negotiations professionally, and worked tirelessly to keep the sale progressing. Their communication was excellent, and they were always on hand to answer any questions and provide reassurance whenever needed. The whole team at Rendells Totnes made what can often be a stressful experience feel straightforward and well managed. Their professionalism, local knowledge and genuine care for their clients really stood out. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cameron, Catherine, Debbie and the entire Rendells Totnes team to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. 8th Jun 2026 (14 weeks ago)Very disappointing experience with Rendells Lettings in newton abbot.<br><br>We expressed serious interest in a rental property in early May, provided documents immediately, travelled down from Oxfordshire to see if we could view the house, followed up multiple times by email and phone, and even visited the office in person (told them it was an 8 hour drive for us). After which we got not one call or email from the person who runs the lettings dept. Throughout the process we were repeatedly told that the landlord would “come back with further instructions,” but after more than a month we still received no proper update or clear answer.<br><br>And also they told us that they get so many applications they just don’t care and will not respond to anything. They refuse to do online viewings (which all the other agencies are willing to do), don't respond to applications (after you have filled out given them your life on paper basically). Complete limbo.<br><br>Meanwhile, the property remained advertised online the entire time!<br><br>What made the experience frustrating was not necessarily losing out on the property, but the complete lack of communication and basic courtesy. Calls and emails went unanswered, timelines were unclear, and we were left unable to plan our own housing situation despite explaining that notice had to be given on our current tenancy.<br><br>Other agencies we dealt with in Devon were far more professional, responsive, and respectful.<br><br>Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend Rendells Lettings, other agencies in Devon are far far better and I can’t recommend them enough, Rendells lettings in newton abbot was in 25 years of renting through agencies the very worst experience i have ever had, take my advice and don’t do it
