4th Mar 2025 (1 year ago)I had a terrible experience with this estate agent. From the start, they were misleading and untrustworthy. They expected me to secure a mortgage within 20 days, even though banks typically take 1 to 3 months on average. When I viewed the property, I noticed construction work nearby. I called to ask what was being built, and the sales manager claimed they had no information. Later, my solicitor discovered that the vendor was actually retaining part of the land, leaving only a small garden—something the agent failed to disclose. To make matters worse, she wants to put the property back to market agent accused me of money laundering, despite my having a clear financial record and paying taxes on every penny I earn. When I challenged this false claim, she abruptly ended the call, said she didn’t trust my bank, and immediately put the property back on the market—without informing the vendor. I had already spent money on a solicitor, valuation, and mortgage broker fees, which I wouldn’t have gotten back if the agent had secured another buyer. Fortunately, I informed my solicitor, who contacted the vendor’s solicitor. It turned out the vendor had no idea the property was relisted, and they assured us that no other viewings would be allowed. This experience was stressful and costly. I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this estate agent.

31st Jul 2023 (2 years ago)Living in Bridlington and having to sell my parents property in Louth I was unsure of which estate agent to use , however , I just recalled that a board with "John Taylor " on had been outside my grandparents property way back so I decided on that. What a great decision that was, John Taylor have been exceptional from day one to completion, always at the end of the phone with help and advice, great communications as to when viewings would be ( the property was empty and the keys left with John Taylor, and a great understanding that this was not just a house sale to me but the sale of my family home for the last 69 years, the house I grew up in and called home for all those years. I cannot fault them in any way , the only word I can use is "exceptional" Special thanks to Anne who was outstanding , she is a star. kindest regards to all at John Taylor and many many thanks . I was kept fully updated at all times and was supported through the entire process both pre and after sales. When I come to sell my property, I won’t be looking elsewhere.

They kept me informed at every stage, responded quickly to any questions, and handled everything with great care and efficiency. Their dedication to providing outstanding service really stood out. I would highly recommend King and Co to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy estate agent!
8th Apr 2025 (1 year ago)Failed to communicate at all after the first two weeks being on the market with them. Failed to contact us when potential buyers wanted to view. No communication even at the point of cancelling our contract with them. Just totally apathetic

13th Aug 2025 (10 mo. ago)From the first time we meet Charlotte we was really impressed we felt she very friendly and had our best interest in mind she gave us the confidence to sell our property and look for a property that was more suitable for us. We are now much happier in our dream property that we would never have purchased if it was not for Charlotte giving us some confidence. Claire who we never meet but was just has friendly and kept us up to date on how sale was going and chasing solicitors etc. We are glad everything worked out in the end and would definitely recommend Charlotte and Claire to any body buying or selling Michael/Alison Whelan

24th Apr 2026 (8 weeks ago)Thankyou Dan and the team at Oxfords you helped us buy our beautiful bungalow nothing was to much trouble we lived in sheffield so we had a journey to come to find our forever home we viewed a few bungalows at the weekend and you always said ring us at you get hear and we will meet you at various properties until we found the one all way through you kept us updated on how things were going. We will be forever grateful thanks Oxfords
5th Sep 2023 (2 years ago)TES took over from Hunters just after I had given notice to Hunters and after having to stay with them for 16 weeks, all of the office staff changed almost overnight. I thought rather than go back to square one I would see what they could do. By that time my partners sale completed (21 April) and I have to admit I took my eye off the ball as we were very busy with workmen etc. However the communication was very little. I had one lady view in that time but she had not sold herself. She did view a second time but turned out to be a time waster. No-one senior ever spoke to me about any plan. I asked about an open day perhaps and was told the market for bungalows was just not there. I am now sorting out another agent who is due to photograph and do a floor plan today. Fingers crossed.

He’s incredibly attentive, proactive, and genuinely cares about doing a good job. The whole experience has felt personal rather than transactional, which makes a huge difference.
