12th Mar 2021 (5 years ago)I looked at so many houses, nothing was right and then I stumbled across a new property. A viewing was arranged quickly with the staff at Hunter French Frome. It was a difficult process for me, but Ben and his team did absolutely everything to help the process. Very happy to be in my new forever home.

Then they let themselves down and me, if anyone wanted to view they told them drive past and if you like it make an appointment, since when do people buy house by driving by. No feed back at all I think good opertunities were squandered a lazy team.
7th Jun 2026 (11 days ago)As a potential buyer we have been very impressed by the service given by Henry Lines at Cooper and Tanner . His communication via email has been perfect, clear and honest and really helpful - when he did a viewing with us he was giving just the right amount of information. Sadly someone made an offer on the house we wanted to buy before we were in the position to do so - but he let us know straight away . And is on the look out for similar properties for us.
27th Sep 2023 (2 years ago)Cannot recommend Joel and his team in Wells high enough. First class service and customer care. Regular updates on viewings with sound feedback. Once a potential buyer was secured, the team of four monitored the progress of the conveyancing law firms of both the buyer and ourselves, and what a bonus that was when ‘lethargy’ appeared to have ‘rooted’ itself in the process on several occasions. The commission was sensible and they deserved every penny. ????

The whole team are absolutely incredible but Jon, the owner, is just an exceptional person. They sold our house quickly at a tough time in the market, showed so much proactivity, care, sensitivity and person centred customer care that is rare in the modern world of real estate. John is one of the most joyful, sincere and personable people I’ve ever come across, and I felt the whole time, completely in the hands of a true professional who exuded humanity and care. I would urge anyone in the area considering listing or buying a house to go with this absolutely outstanding company who have held our hands the whole way through and enabled us to buy our dream house!

Gemma is really well-informed and up-to-date with current and pending legislation. 21st May 2026 (28 days ago)Worked professionally and timely- 29th Nov 2023 (2 years ago)The branch Manager Samuel Masters and his team were extremely efficient and have ensured a quick sale offer on our property .The marketing on On the Market and right move was excellent and quick and the photographs and the details written up on the brochure resulted in quite a few viewings and several people expressed interest but had to sell their own property.
12th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)We had an excellent experience with Cooper and Tanner, and in particular with Hayley Browning, who supported us throughout our home purchase. Going into the process, I always expected estate agents to primarily act in the seller’s interest, but that really wasn’t our experience with Hayley. She was fair, transparent, and genuinely invested in helping us move things forward, which made a huge difference. Compared to our previous attempts to buy a property—which dragged on for six months and only reached the enquiry stage—this experience couldn’t have been more different. Hayley was incredibly proactive, responsive, and focused from the outset. She understood our urgency and worked tirelessly to keep everything on track, coordinating effectively between all parties involved. Thanks to her dedication, we were able to complete the purchase in just over six weeks. It’s hard to overstate just how critical Hayley’s efforts were. Beyond her professionalism, she was also personable, approachable, and an absolute delight to work with throughout. She made what can often be a stressful process feel smooth and manageable. 9th Jan 2026 (23 weeks ago)Amazing landlords when they need your money, will tell you want you want to hear but once they have what they need financially they kick you to the kerb.. telling you the property is yours for as long as you want… they giving you a bull story as to why they need the property back… taking you for your full deposit and then re letting the property for a higher price.

I recently bought our new home from Allen and Harris estate agents in Wells and found them to be very helpful and a pleasure to deal with throughout the whole process. Ollie and Daisy were always responsive to my queries and requests and helped move the sale process along with good communication between parties, so even though I know they were engaged by the seller, I still felt my purchase was in good hands from their side. They even gave me a treat box of tea and discount vouchers on completion, which came in very handy for a brew on moving day and for buying my new fridge freezer with the bonus of £30 off! Such a nice gesture from Allen and Harris, what's not to like! A very good experience of buying a home from them. 5*

18th Mar 2026 (13 weeks ago)My experience as a chain free buyer keen to purchase a property they are marketing; - Agent didn't show up to the first viewing booked, with zero apology for miss communication their end. - Late to subsequential viewing and had to wait to him to faff around getting the keys out of the key box in the pouring rain. - No follow up call after viewings, I had to call them to book in a second viewing after waiting to see if they would call for over a week. - Once sale was agreed, I have contacted them several times to ask questions re the property / sale details and they have ignored all emails. If you would like to sell your house in a timely manor, if at all, I would avoid.

Advice given was rude and unlawful, these guys have a dangerous perspective where they make every effort to ensure that the advice given serves their interests only, even if that advice is unlawful and totally fabricated. Please be warned, they are convicing and pushy.
