5th Jun 2026 (11 days ago)Went to 5 estate agents initially but chose to commission Darlows after a confident pitch from their lead agent. We doubted the valuation but were assured due diligence had been conducted, so we went with their expertise. Within 2 weeks, the person we had been dealing with left and we were asked to reduce the price by £25k. Photographs were poor and we had to have a second set created. For the 20 week period of the contract, we only had 1 viewing but the marketing report showed 2 as they counted the visit of the photographer being a visit. The 1 viewing we had, the estate agent asked if the house was listed in front of the potential buyers, which showed à lack of market knowledge, which left us lacking any confidence moving forwards. The 2nd person who acted as our contact has now left the branch and once our contract ends we’re looking to commission a new estate agent. Overall, an extremely disappointing experience and sadly, we can’t recommend Darlows to anyone.

Daniel Rees, the agent at Savilles, made the process of buying as smooth as it could be. He was a calm, thoughtful and easy to communicate with throughout the process. We would be happy to recommend using Savilles.

18th Sep 2025 (8 mo. ago)Had a very positive experience using Brinsons to let my property. Megan Cannon and Abigail Bright kept me well informed and answered all my questions of which there were many being a 1st time landlord. They are very knowledgeable and i would recommend them both.

The whole rental process was clear, smooth and handled with great care. Matthew went above and beyond to make everything easy — he explained every step, kept me updated throughout, and made sure the agreement reflected exactly what was discussed. Even after receiving the keys, he acted immediately when I reported small issues and arranged help straight away. It’s rare to find someone so reliable, honest and genuinely supportive. I’m very grateful for his assistance and highly recommend Matthew to anyone looking for a property or working with First4rentals. Excellent service!

I dealt mainly with Chloe and she was brilliant at communicating throughout the whole process, always returning calls or emails promptly and giving regularupdates. She actually saved me a big delay, due to my surveyors, by noticing they hadn't been in touch with the vendor after they told we they would be. Overall I would highly recommend.

25th Feb 2021 (5 years ago)This agent did not provide any terms and conditions. Their photographs of my property were appalling and they totally ignored all of my concerns about their shameful service. They did not put an offer to me that they received on my property and told me what solicitor they wished to use for the conveyancing prior to any consultation with me. They have an appalling sales record compared to other local agents who sell properties far quicker than this incompetent agent who completely ignored my concerns AND instructions throughout. I can not put into words how shameful this agent was in dealing with the sale of my house. Concerns and instructions ignored and not acted upon this disgracefully incompetent agent took over 15 months to sell a very desirable property on a much sought after estate. Please refer to GETAGENT to see the shamefully disgusting time these ametures take to sell properties compared to other local agents. DISGRACEFUL service from an incompetent and out of touch, arrogant estate agent.

She didn’t tell me what I wanted to hear, she told me what would maximise my chances of selling at a good price. I followed all her advice and sold at a better price than I’d dreamed of.

Having dealt with commercial estate agents in the past I have never had any sound advice….my opinions have now changed. Thanks again Martin and team. I will definitely be recommending yourself. They took the time to get to know situation, me and my dog! I would recommend as a renter and I have recommended to sellers too.

Charlene found us the right buyer in just three weeks and achieved an offer well over the asking price, which speaks volumes about her skill, judgement and understanding of the market. The marketing was also superb. The photos, video, drone footage and brochure produced by the Fine & Country team presented our home beautifully and really helped show it at its best. Once we accepted the offer, Alice was exceptional in keeping everything moving smoothly and swiftly. She liaised with both sets of solicitors, kept communication flowing between us and our buyer, anticipated potential issues and helped resolve anything that came up along the way. The whole experience felt professional, proactive and well managed throughout.
