22nd Jul 2026 (12 days ago)I have not yet moved into a property with this estate agent but am due to next month and I just wanted to highlight the service from Josh today. After having a lack of communication regarding the tenancy for several months I called the office and was passed over to Josh who is not usually who we are in communications with for the house.<br><br>He listened to every single one of my concerns, explained the agents side of the situation, and actioned everything within the hour, keeping myself and other tenants in the loop and communicating with the landlord on our behalf.<br><br>This is rare service to receive from an estate agent and he is clearly a testament to the team. Housing is a difficult topic to discuss and he put my mind at ease instantly.<br><br>Thank you again Josh!

7th Jul 2026 (27 days ago)The young guy Finlay that showed us around a house we were interested in is fantastic, very very nice guy. However!! Jade the manager of Peter Alan in talbot green could do with learning some manners and is an obstructive argumentative person who I or my partner will never deal with again! We had an appointment booked for 12 to see a financial advisor and appointments before hand to see a house! The manager Jade called me at 10:05 to cancel our appointment at 12. I explained I wasn’t happy and that we had travelled from Rumney for this meeting but it’s no worries I will go elsewhere to seek financial advice. The manager Jade then called me a liar and stated back to me that I’m from tonyrefail and hadn’t travelled from Cardiff whatsoever, I tried to explain that my partner is from Cardiff and that I had travelled with her from there! Jade continued to overtalk me and point out that I hadn’t travelled from Cardiff for the 12 meeting as I was due for a viewing at 11 in gilfach goch so that I was lying to the fact saying I had travelled from Cardiff for the 12 meeting pointing out I would have had to anyway to view the property! A very aggressive argumentative individual who has now lost Peter Alan a customer or more as I will let everyone I know what kind of person they have there managing that particular outlet/shop! Totally unacceptable and unprofessional behaviour by a woman in her 40’s that should have a little more decorum about her and not call customers that have travelled for 45 minutes for a meeting a liar! Despicable individual!!!
28th Jul 2026 (6 days ago)Jodie was absolutely lovely to deal with and showed us around the property for a second viewing on a Friday in a heatwave, which is dedication to her job if ever I've seen it! They are a friendly team and have been on hand to answer any and all questions, and have kept the rental application moving fluidly throughout. We have been updated at every step of the way and it's been refreshing to deal with such a friendly team. I highly recommend Northwood Cardiff for tenants looking to move and I can't say a big enough thank you to Jodie for being a star during this process. I've been very recently bereaved during the moving process and being able to deal with kind and helpful people has alleviated some of the additional stress of this move. 10/10 ??????

Failed to offer any support when the landlord-provided refrigerator malfunctioned, repeatedly freezing and defrosting. Rejected upon request for basic cleaning materials for to clean the leaking fridge. Insufficient fridge space, got rid of personal fridge with only 1 day notice. Inconsistent cleaning schedule. There were periods where the cleaner only visited once every two weeks, which contradicts what we were promised. Maintenance requests have also been handled with delays.

1st Nov 2025 (9 mo. ago)Our Experience with Property Plus We initially invited four local estate agents to value our property in Tonypandy. Having done our own due diligence, we already had a good idea of its market value. When the representative from Property Plus came to assess the property, she confidently claimed she could achieve a higher price and mentioned she had years of experience as a former surveyor. On that basis, we decided to give them a chance and proceeded on a sole agency agreement. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We were left with the impression that she was largely winging it. We received very few updates — no proactive phone calls after the limited number of viewings, and little to no genuine feedback from potential buyers. Most communication came via the occasional text or email, and overall the process felt very “hands off.” Any meaningful updates required us to visit the office in person, which, to be fair, was a much better experience and more in line with what we’d expected from the start. In summary, we felt trapped in a poor sole agency agreement and that the three-month term was largely wasted due to a lack of communication, feedback, and follow-up.

My daughter had a viewing this afternoon with this company and they couldn’t be bothered to turn up and when we rang them they had no idea what we was talking about. They gave us one appointment for the morning then messaged us and gave us an afternoon appointment the same day and then acted like there was no viewing when we got here even though we have proof in the messages. I’m absolutely fuming. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

3rd Jun 2026 (9 weeks ago)You don't sell a property very often and choosing an agent can seem like a bit of a lottery. We decided to entrust Peter Alan and we are so glad that we did. From the first call-back to the final 'your sale is complete' call, everyone at the Bridgend office were professional, friendly, considerate and focused on getting our property sold. The sale incurred a lot of other stresses but every interaction with Peter Alan was as low-stress and positive as they could be. Just an amazing team. Give them a call. Diolch or galon.- 17th Apr 2026 (15 weeks ago)I found Peter Alan quite unpleasant to deal with. Despite clearly stating multiple times that we were happy with our current mortgage broker, they repeatedly pressured us to arrange a meeting with theirs. This led to excessive calls—sometimes three or four times a day—which quickly became frustrating. Additionally, when we identified another property of interest, it was extremely difficult to get through to them. We had to call several times, and on some occasions, it felt as though calls were being ignored or even deliberately disconnected. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
