4th Oct 2023 (7 mo. ago)I advise everybody to avoid Carters Letting Agents and local Landlord William Bruce. This year I was seriously ill for six months, resulting in emergency surgery to save my life. During this time they issued me a section 21, and I moved into a new property the day after I was released from hospital afyer being there for 4 weeks, still with two surgical drains attached, and incredibly limited mobility. Being fully aware of this information they went after my deposit and have today been awarded just over 1000 pounds, after the section 21 cost me nearly 3 grand, and rinsed the rest of my savings. During the time I was in hospital they issued notice to my landlord without my consent and before my new property had been confirmed. I questioned this whilst I was in hospital and was told 'not to worry' despite this being a move that could have made me and my 15 year old son homeless, and given on a date that left me no time to have the property cleaned properly. They have made no allowances for my very serious illness desite being fully informed, and created extra stress and financial worry. In the meantime the house has been renovated for sale, and I believe my deposit is paying for that. Their behaviour towards me after 5 years of tenancy has been disgusting, and they have used my vunarability as a tool to extract more money. Apparently this landlord owns numbers of houses in wolverton. Beware.

12th Apr 2024 (24 days ago)Overall our experience working with Michael Anthony was positive, there were a couple of times where we weren’t receiving feedback after the viewings from them, but once we raised this they then ensured they got back to us in a timely manner after that. We didn’t always agree with their approach to pricing but we didn’t feel any pressure to make decisions we weren’t comfortable with. Dani and Derek were great to work with and we are happy with the sale we achieved.

His calm, can do attitude is just what is needed when navigating the largest purchase many of us will make. After that have presented us with an incorrect solicitor quote we chose them and we had to pay more by the end of the process. Then when we had to go to the house and make some measurements, the agent was 30 min late and arrive with no keys of the properties. And on the date of the completion, the branch manager, who was our point of contact throughout the whole process, decided to take the day off. Not recommending.

He is super professional, efficient and excels at ensuring you understand every part of the process. We were provided updates throughout as well as being updated with new rates as they dropped so we could get the best deal and save money, Edward really went above and beyond. Our new mortgage is now in place and the whole process was so simple and smooth since finding with Edward. Thank you for all your help and great service!

Advice given whenever asked for, and always replied to questions. Looked after all the house viewings, and followed up after each viewing. Their marketing materials much better and viewing feedback and Street Platform better than of the other agent. Overall please, and whilst not achieved the desired asking price, this was more down to market circumstances, I am pleased with the Taylor Walsh agency- 1st Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)There are is insufficient space to list all the superlatives that apply to Gareth Redman’s level of expertise and attention when Imwas selling my house. Absolutely first class !

31st Oct 2023 (6 mo. ago)Main positive was that the fees were payable only once the property was sold. However, pressure tactics were used which I felt came from mustard agents not the buyers, e.g. completion must be completed by such a date or the buyer pulls out. These ultimatums proved to be meaningless but caused considerable stress and inconvenience.
