9th Apr 2026 (27 days ago)Great to start with but once we signed contracts all communications stopped. We never received any updates at all, we had to chase them every time. We eventually gave notice in writing to terminate the contract and nobody bothered to contact us to ask why we were leaving? Very poor customer service

1st Apr 2019 (7 years ago)We sold 2 houses with JF , mine & also my partners . We also bought through JF & my buyer also sold with them ( I know right ????) . They are such a friendly team . Loved Mo & Tina ( Good luck in your retirement Tina) . They’re a very personable company & get to know your house , which I found really important . We viewed over 50 houses , so we had dealings with a lot of agents . All I can say , is I was glad JF were selling ours .

The advertising was fantastic, the staff were always polite and prompt to.answer if we had any queries. 3rd Jan 2022 (4 years ago)I have only very good things to say about this lovely company. If you are looking for a property to rent then I highly recommend Smith & Co. There's a lot of bad landlords out there but in my experience of renting a property from Smith & Co for many, many years now, I can truly say that you wouldn't go far wrong to rent from this caring, compassionate, understanding, professional and considerate company! I have had many wonderful, trouble free years' renting from Smith & Co. To be honest, I really wouldn't want to rent from anyone else now. Sara and her team are all so lovely! After many years I feel like I'm part of one big Smith & Co family! Top notch!

Not the fault of the estate agent, however there was no adjustment to the online profile at any point to refresh the advert. Nothing posted on socials that I’m aware of either.
22nd Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)Associate director consciously chose to breach trust rendering my relationship with the company as both a seller and buyer, completely untenable. My interests were entirely secondary as demonstrated by their actions. I received assurances they weren’t prepared to uphold, was made promises they weren’t prepared to keep and set expectations they weren’t prepared to follow through. Avoid this estate agent and use one of the many others available.

Benningtons, Stuart and Laura, are concise, emphatic and genuinely know the local market. Thorough and precise communication throughout, total honesty and transparency. They gave advice on pricing, handled the viewings well and kept me in the loop the whole way through. It wasn’t completely smooth (as these things never are) but they were always on hand to help sort things and keep it moving. Would 100% recomend them if you’re selling in Nottingham ??????
