Having never been involved in this type of transaction have got to say the team at Poyntons made it so easy , I found them efficient , friendly and professional and they found us a great new tenant for our office space , many thanks .

1st Apr 2019 (5 years ago)We sold 2 houses with JF , mine & also my partners . We also bought through JF & my buyer also sold with them ( I know right ????) . They are such a friendly team . Loved Mo & Tina ( Good luck in your retirement Tina) . They’re a very personable company & get to know your house , which I found really important . We viewed over 50 houses , so we had dealings with a lot of agents . All I can say , is I was glad JF were selling ours .

20th Apr 2024 (28 days ago)An extremely disappointing service from.a local estate agents handling a sale and rental. On the sales side, the inaccurate reports and innovative stories were annoying and failed to listen to the customer. On the rental side, a failure to support a remote landlord was unhelpful and on both sides only the minimum was carried out. Obviously a year or so ago someone was much more efficient but the experience we had was dreadful.
27th Mar 2023 (1 year ago)I would highly recommend you DO NOT use this agent, I bought a refurb and Mr Drury was site manager, he made so many promises that the property would have all faults, ie all on a snagging list done and property would be immaculate when I moved in, that the new bath and tiling I paid extra for would be installed to a high specification. The property including windows were disgustingly dirty, paint drips everywhere, in fact all exterior and interior of property needs to be re decorated. No faults discussed were seen to and bath has a hole filled with silicone sealant trying to conceal the damage that has been done, bath panel has been fitted upside down, tile grouting done poorly and tiles have moved down wall and silicone around bath shabby with a gap all round for water to go behind bath. No loft installation. Radiator brackets not fitted properly throughout house so much so a radiator came off wall along with part of the wall. Two windows not fitted properly, front door leaking, Skirting boards not mitred the list goes on... Do not believe a word this man says, totally untrustworthy, ignorant, rude and arrogant. Don't make the same mistake I did, check and check again before buying any of his refurbished properties

3rd Jan 2022 (2 years ago)I have only very good things to say about this lovely company. If you are looking for a property to rent then I highly recommend Smith & Co. There's a lot of bad landlords out there but in my experience of renting a property from Smith & Co for many, many years now, I can truly say that you wouldn't go far wrong to rent from this caring, compassionate, understanding, professional and considerate company! I have had many wonderful, trouble free years' renting from Smith & Co. To be honest, I really wouldn't want to rent from anyone else now. Sara and her team are all so lovely! After many years I feel like I'm part of one big Smith & Co family! Top notch!
