14th Apr 2026 (9 weeks ago)My father in law had instructed solicitors having had an offer accepted in July 2025 (house sold stc) on a property through Saxton Mee. Two weeks into the sale process he was informed he had been gazumped and another offer put to the seller that was £10k higher. How disappointing that in the modern age Saxton Mee appear to have no safeguards or policies to protect buyers against this unethical practice. Could not in good conscience recommend to any buyer. Edited to add: In view of the response from Saxton Mee below I have emailed as requested and provided the relevant details to allow them to corroborate that this review was not left in error and relates specifically to Saxton Mee’s Hathersage branch.

Everyone we dealt with was helpful, but a special shout-out goes to Chelsea, who was fantastic from start to finish. She was incredibly proactive, always chasing solicitors, keeping us updated, and doing everything she could to help us get to completion smoothly. Highly recommend!

28th May 2024 (2 years ago)They sent viewers who were not proceedable or unsuited to a shared/communal garden. We got feedback from viewers only after asking everytime.

Lorraine was brilliant, got us on the market next day, better price point than we had thought and sold it within 2 days. Emma was fabulous at guiding us through a sale and a new purchase, she kept us updated, also helped keep us calm when we needed support and saw us all the way through to completion. I wouldn’t sell my property with anyone else. Thank you Lorraine and Emma, you were brilliant and I would highly recommend you both to anyone and GH are lucky to have such exceptional people representing them.

22nd Jul 2024 (1 year ago)They did a good job selling my house. I felt well looked after and received useful advice along the way - especially when the market changed very suddenly and I needed to make decisions regarding possibly dropping the price. I’d definitely recommend them!
26th Jun 2023 (2 years ago)Avoid at all costs. This estate agent are relying on reputation to get away with putting minimum effort into the promotion and sale of properties. When you sign up with them you are constantly pestered with their "partners" trying to sell conveyancing and other services despite the fact that they are not doing anything to try and promote the property. Topping that off they will trap you in an overly long contract which is nearly double the length of any other local estate agent.

10th Dec 2025 (6 mo. ago)NEEDED TO RENT AN APARTMENT.FOUND ONE IN PADFIELD,VIDEO WAS FORGOTTEN,EXCUSE,WE ARE HUMAN. APPLICATION FORM COULDNT BE OPENED.FOUR DAYS LATER WE MANAGED TO FILL IN APPLICATION FORM,BUT TOO LATE LANDLORD HAD ALREADY FILLED THE APARTMENT. WE THEN WERE DIVERTED TO AN APARTMENT AVAILABLE AT KINDERLEE. ON MONDAY WE WERE APPROVED,PAID THE £230 HOLDING FEE,WITH MOVE IN THE FOLLOWING FRIDAY,LUNCHTIME. HAVING HEARD NOTHING BY 2PM ON THE FRIDAY,I RANG JORDAN FISHWICK FOR AN UPDATE? WOOPS THE APARTMENT HAD MOLD IN AT LEAST TWO AREAS.AND ALTHOUGH FURNISHED,WE WERE INFORMED THAT THE TWO BEDS HAD NO MATTRESSES!! FURTHERMORE,WE COULD NO LONGER MOVE IN THAT DAY,BUT WITH LUCK THE FOLLOWING MONDAY,AFTER CLEANING. WE WERE ADVISED TO CHECK IN AGAIN AT THE TRAVELODGE(£70/NiGHT) NOT WANTING THE ADDITIONAL COSTS,WE CANCELLED,AND RENTED SOMEWHERE ELSE. 10 DAYS LATER I STILL AWAIT THE REFUND OF THE £230 HOLDING FEE. RUBBISH,AVOID,GO ELESWHERE!
