Dean Grove came out to give us a valuation and tell us about their services, he was helpful and knowledgable and all round a great guy. They were efficient with organising viewings and sold our property within a week for full asking price. The team in halesowen have been wonderful and i could not recommend them enough!

Steve the director is a compulsive liar, he has 0 compassion unless it fills his pockets with money.<br>They are absolutely dodgy and I would strongly not recommend anybody go through this agency.<br>I have had years of being ignored from them regarding serious issues with the property I rent. When I do get a response from them it’s no accountability and gaslighting, given empty promises or better yet completely dismissed anything I have reported. His act is comical to say the least, he is the most unprofessional person, the “work” done tends to be botched jobs that fall below standards and tenants are just expected to put up and shut up all whilst still upping rent. But can’t give no answer on speaking with the landlords to rectify issues. When I reported an ongoing issue for over 3 years now he told me I was running the risk of the landlords selling up. Now he’s threatened me twice with that answer to the disrepair and the neglect. He’ll come out to the property and deny ever being there. Not to mention never ever any follows ups, the lack of compassion, professionalism is concerning. I’m still yet to have a response regarding my actual complaints. one thing I realised is Steve doesn’t like it when people try to hold him accountable. All he cares about is what fills his pocket. He almost forgets he has a duty of care considering he is the director to this joke of an establishment. But Steve’s speciality is silent treatment and dismissing tenants as if we are beneath him but if he does feel like doing something he’ll authorise botch jobs and masking over issues rather than fixing them. I have sat and read the reviews and Every single “negative” review is CORRECT and extremely accurate. Considering it’s his business you would think he would be a bit more careful on who he tries to fool and dismiss.

Everyone I've dealt with has been friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful.<br><br>I was able to book a viewing on the same day as my initial call, with another viewing arranged later in the week. Teri, in particular, went out of her way to understand exactly what I was looking for and organised suitable viewings very quickly.<br>They also have an efficient booking system and a user-friendly website.<br><br>I would highly recommend Ian Perks to anyone looking to rent a property.

From start to finish, he went above and beyond to help us through the process. He was always available when we needed him, kept us informed, and reassured us during some particularly stressful moments.<br><br>We genuinely cannot thank Ellis enough for everything he did, along with the rest of the team at Hunters. From start to finish, they were exceptional and made what could have been a very difficult experience so much easier.<br><br>We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ellis and the team at Hunters to anyone looking to sell their home. She was always informative, explained everything clearly, kept me updated every step of the way, and was always available whenever I had questions. Her communication and support throughout the process were excellent, and she genuinely went above and beyond to help. Thank you, Ajwa, for making what could have been a long and confusing process feel so straightforward.

6th Dec 2025 (8 mo. ago)I wanted to do my own viewings, and Purple Bricks were bar far the best value for money. They put our board up within a day, and took our photos and did the EPC certificate within 3 days. A week after we decided to sell it was advertised on Zoopla and Right Move. Viewings were managed through the portal very simply. They requested feedback from every viewing. When we had an offer it was so easy to negotiate through the portal. After we accepted the offer they put the sold sign up next day, produced the memorandum of sale within 2 days and amended the zoopla and rightmove status. They are superb compared to the agent we are buying our house off who still havnt marked as sold a week after having our offer accepted. I would recommend purple bricks without hesitation.

9th Aug 2026 (3 days ago)We got our house sold in the end but the guy who was given to us, didn’t do a good job, late to appointments, didn’t tell the truth about we were with buyers. Don’t think this guy works there now but it is the owners responsibility to see what was going on.
