1st Nov 2022 (3 years ago)We have had dealings with Woodleys Estate Agents over a number of years both selling and buying of properties, as well as renting. The service, communication and advice they have always given us has been excellent. In particular Mark, Mike and Gareth who were totally on top of negotiations and efficient in deputising for each other when required. All In all this company and its employees acted both professionally and honest with us at all times. They were a pleasure to work with and we can 100% recommend them. In addition we rented a property out through Woodleys with Aidan representing us, who likewise had very high professional standards and guided us through the whole process from advertising to selecting a tenant. Again we recommend this side of the business too. Mark, Mike, Gareth and Aiden are a credit to Woodleys and clearly showed integrity and professionalism throughout our dealings with them, but we also had a good many funny moments and laughter en route. Ben Baker was excellent from first meeting through to eventual Completion - polite, reliable and efficient, as also were Ceri and his support team. Moving after 34 years was always going to be challenging, but Hamptons made the whole process much easier for us. We are glad we chose them.

However Alex Barton at Strutt and Parker Newbury exceeded our expectations with his calm, extremely professional and level headed approach. Alex’s knowledge of the market and the local area is second to non, and he was always on the other end of the phone be it for reassurance or updates on viewings etc. I really felt as though our hand was held throughout the process and nothing was ever a problem and always delivered with a smile! The marketing of our home was exceptional both from Newbury as well as Head Office. It really was a pleasure selling our home through S&P and I would highly recommend Alex to anybody needing to sell their own most cherished treasure. Thank you S&P!

20th Jul 2026 (15 weeks ago)We purchased a house recently through Singletons in Pangbourne. Paul Marshall handled the sale. He really was 1st class - a true professional. He worked across buyer and seller to get the deal done. After the price was agreed, Paul and the Singletons team remained engaged throughout the transaction helping resolve obstacles and keep the sale on track. Result was completion within 6 weeks. I can't recommend Singletons Pangbourne highly enough.

Outstanding Service – Highly Recommended<br><br>I recently sold a property through Parkers Estate Agents in Tilehurst and have been extremely impressed with the service provided from start to finish.<br><br>The whole team were professional, knowledgeable and efficient, making the entire selling process as smooth and stress-free as possible.<br><br>I would particularly like to mention Maddie, who was absolutely excellent throughout. Her professionalism, enthusiasm and attention to detail were outstanding, and she was a pleasure to deal with.<br><br>I would also like to give special recognition to Emma for her excellent work progressing the sale through to completion. Her communication, persistence and proactive approach ensured everything kept moving in the right direction.
