29th Mar 2025 (1 year ago)Blain Firmin have been dealing with the sale of my late Mother’s flat. It was not an easy sale with short lease and not in the best condition. Mark held an open viewing day and sold it immediately getting an offer well above asking price. Mark has been an absolute joy to deal with. Helped getting a company to clear the flat for us. He kept us informed every step of the process and was always ready to help with any query we had. I would thoroughly recommend Blain Firmin they are a great professional company.

18th Jan 2026 (23 weeks ago)I do not recommend it. We lived in the Newlands Park property that they manage in London for 5 years. The owner invests 0 in the property. During the winter, the toilet gets a lot of mould due to the humidity. We always asked them to fix it, and they never did; we fixed it ourselves, as both my husband and I have respiratory issues. They were always very, very slow to respond to issues we had with the property; we had to chase them all the time. In fact, during our last month in the property, a water pipe that always been damaged broke again because the person the send to fix it only puts tape, and doesn't fix it properly By the 3rd year, they wanted to increase the rent, and you’d think, yes, that’s fair, but again, the landlord never wanted to reinvest in the property, even though it clearly needed a decent investment. We were very reluctant to allow them to increase the rent, as the property NEEDS a lot of repairs. No double glazing, so the property is not energy efficient. The cellar has mould, so anything you put in there gets ruined by it. The wood in the kitchen window and the bath is rotten, never got fixed During our last year (2025), in May, THEY LIED and told us the owner wanted to sell the property; we were thinking of leaving the country anyway, so we were okay with it. They told us we had to leave by August. However, the timing was not right, as we had some travel planned. We managed to get an extension until November, sorted out our move and work situation, and moved to Spain at the end of November. And to add, they took 1.5 months to return our deposit. My husband had to chase them a couple of times, and the last time he told them that if the deposit wasn't returned by the 9th of Jan, he would escalate it. they didn’t even return all of it. , and guess what? The property is now available TO RENT £150 more expensive, and with all of the issues we flag and they and the landlord haven’t fixed them at all. AVOID!

On both occasions the service Tom provided was excellent - great communication and an attention to detail. We also appreciated his knowledge of the market and realistic rental evaluation. We would certainly use the agency again and highly recommend them.

6th Jun 2026 (24 days ago)I have been a tenant through GBP Estates for over two years now. I have found them to be both professional and helpful from the moment we walked in the door. Our first contact was Brook Atkinson, who got the ball rolling and found us our ideal home, unfortunately our landlord sold the property after two years, and we found ourselves looking for another home. Brook was on the case and in no time at all, found us another lovely home. We cant thank Brook enough for her efforts to find us our new home, she is very professional and focused in her work, we would highly reccomend Brook and GBP estates, if you are looking for professional team. They are ultra quick in arranging repairs if something breaks. Always willing to go the extra mile. They offer the personalised approach that you don't get with big agents. 10 out of 10
25th Mar 2023 (3 years ago)The most rudest and ignorant estate agents I have ever met. Please save yourself the trouble and do not work with this estate agent and especially not Haseeb. Throughout my time of renting a property from this agent, he has neglected his duties and then had the audacity to keep the deposit after I left the property. This estate agents and Haseeb have no humanity nor manners whatsoever.

What began as a search in St John’s Wood eventually led us to Kensington and Chelsea and throughout the entire journey, he was never pushy, always respectful of our pace, and consistently focused on helping us find the right home rather than just closing a deal. His network proved invaluable, and his calm guidance was instrumental during the negotiations that led to the purchase of our home. Cody is a pleasure to spend time with, easy going and good-humoured. We were able to share many laughs, making what is often a stressful process much more fun. We really appreciated his determination and professionalism and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

29th May 2025 (1 year ago)I honestly don’t even know where to begin with how awful my experience with IDM Properties was. From start to finish, it was a complete disaster. First off, the communication was appalling. Emails from Sascha and Cristina were incredibly rude and unprofessional. Instead of offering assistance or addressing concerns, their responses were dismissive and condescending. They made me feel like I was a nuisance for even reaching out. What’s worse, they take absolutely no accountability when they make mistakes and never apologise. I have had numerous situations where they’ve done something wrong—whether it was a missed repair, inaccurate report, or even lying about basic details—but not once did they own up to it. They simply brush it off and act as if it’s not their problem. The renewal process was another nightmare. I reached out 6 weeks before the end of our first tenancy to ask about renewing the contract and the new terms. I was told "You will hear about it 8 weeks before the end of your tenancy." So, I waited and waited, but we didn’t hear anything for two months after our tenancy had officially ended. And then, when they finally did get in touch, they rushed us into making a decision almost immediately, with no regard for the time we’d been left hanging. Then there’s the issue of repairs. If you want anything fixed, be prepared for an agonising wait. In the middle of winter, it took them 5 weeks to fix the heater. 5 weeks without proper heating during one of the coldest months. The balcony door took 3 weeks and several visits before it was finally ‘repaired’ – but not fully fixed because that required another part that we never heard back about. The washing machine? 5 weeks to replace it. And the dishwasher? 4 weeks. It was always the same. They require multiple pictures and video from different angles before they believe there is a problem and then nothing ever got done on time. You are made to feel you are in the wrong for chasing. One of the most infuriating parts of this experience was how they lied about things. For example, during a mid-tenancy inspection, they claimed we had bikes and suitcases in the hallway. This was absolutely untrue, so we disputed it. Cristina’s response? "It’s in the report, so it has to stay." We insisted that neither of us owns a bike, and only then did she grudgingly remove the bike from the report, but she still insisted the suitcases had to stay on the list, even though we didn’t have any! It was clear they were just making things up to try and pin blame on us. Another example of their dishonesty: I asked Cristina if I could have the code for the building door in case I ever forgot my access fob and to let my dogwalker in. She told me that the code had been disabled and was no longer in use (even though I had seen people using the code!!!). But then, one day, I had a large delivery left at my door, and to my surprise, the code was written on the box! It was clear they had lied to me about something as simple as that. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the property itself was in terrible condition. There were issues with plumbing, the drains flow upwards (I was actually told this by a plumber!) so we had to use plughole unblocker monthly to stop the shower and sinks overflowing. The toilets flush into each other, the extractor fan just goes into the ceiling (this is another repair story that took over a year to fix). At the end of our tenancy, they tried to deduct £550 from our deposit. We challenged this through the Deposit Protection Scheme and eventually got all but £102 of our deposit back. Do yourself a favour and avoid IDM Lettings at all costs. Their incompetence, dishonesty, lack of professionalism, incredibly rude communication from Sascha and Cristina, and shocking delays with repairs and contract renewals have made this the worst renting experience I’ve ever had. And don’t expect any accountability or apologies from them—they simply don’t care. Avoid them if you value your time, money, and sanity. One star is over generous.
