Edit: I’ve just seen the response from the business and they’ve actually lied (clearly got customers mixed up), this is not what happened and I’ve now changed my review to a 1 star. Would definitely not recommend, what a shocking service.

2nd Nov 2021 (5 years ago)I have just purchased a property through Equus Property. Celia was fantastic, she was always available when I needed a question answered, she stayed in regular contact with me from the very first viewing right through to completion.
Celia went above and beyond her duties, she helped speed up the process by speaking to solicitors and chasing things up for the vendor and I.
I highly recommend Equus Property and when the time comes to move on i would not hesitate in contacting them to market my property.

8th Oct 2025 (1 year ago)The communication with the staff (Hayley) was first rate. Not only was she knowledgeable about selling my property but she was a mine of information on areas I was unfamiliar with. This sale was my mother’s home before she passed and I was clueless!

My experience with this property and the people responsible for managing it was extremely disturbing. I experienced serious concerns regarding privacy, security, access to my accommodation, and the treatment of tenants. I also raised concerns about behaviour that I considered completely unacceptable, and I found the responses from those responsible deeply unsatisfactory.
I have personally encountered issues that left me feeling unsafe and unable to trust that my accommodation and belongings were being properly respected. I also have concerns about the way tenant information, mail and personal privacy were handled.
There were also serious disputes concerning the condition and management of the properties and the handling of deposits. I have retained documentation relating to my experiences and have reported matters to the appropriate authorities where I believed it was necessary.
What makes this particularly frustrating is the apparent lack of accountability. In my experience, complaints were not dealt with in a way that gave me any confidence that tenants' legitimate concerns were being taken seriously.
I strongly recommend that anyone considering renting through these people carries out extensive independent checks, gets everything in writing, documents the condition of the property, and keeps records of every interaction. Based on my own experience, I would not recommend them.
Do your due diligence before handing over money or personal information.
