Chris, in particularly was very informative on different aspects of renting/tenants rights, fees etc. Really helpful to making a decision about moving. Now is not the right time but will definitely be looking at their website in around 4-5 months time. Restored faith in letting agents. Genuinely has a interest in working for the tenants as well as landlords

26th Oct 2021 (4 years ago)Do Not Try To Buy Any house With These Agents, we were purchasing a house in Weybridge through them (Holly cottage,Oatlands , after accepting our offer and agreeing the sale , our solicitor was processing everything , when without any notification to ours selves , They went ahead and put the property back on the market at 25,000 £ higher and then lied to us , that we had not even offered on it?!? Pure greed & dishonesty and I have never seen such an unprofessional agency do not use them !

My son offered in January 2025 with the hope of completing before the increase in stamp duty. It was a tall order! But Jay kept everyone informed about the negotiations, pushed where he needed to push. Always available at the end of the phone. Perfect. Thank you!!

He knows his subject, he knows his clients and even the bumpiest road becomes a smooth newly laid cycle path with his guidance. He did an excellent job and was always on hand when you needed him night or day. No regrets. Warren all the way.
11th Sep 2026 (9 days ago)Blake Stanley charges illegal fees to incoming tenants.<br><br>If you are a landlord, I would implore you to consider using a property manager that respects tenants rights and doesn’t squeeze them every tenancy renewal for fees that they know are illegal - they strong arm tenants into paying them anyways as they know the process is complicated to contest.<br><br>Context: I received a decision today from the First Tier tribunal Property Chamber (residential property) ordering Blake Stanley to refund the £64 charged.<br><br>This was charged under the auspices of a “change of tenant”, but there was no change of tenancy when a 12 month agreement comes to a close and new tenants move in!<br><br>I know this seems like a small amount of money, but consider that they pressure every tenant of every property they manage, anytime a contract renews to pay this. It’s illegal for citizens to steal from businesses, so please let’s not allow shady, fraudulent and immoral businesses like Blake Stanley steal from us.<br><br>For other tenants that BlakeStanley has stolen from, please consider reporting them to the First Tier Tribunal and get your money rightfully returned.
16th Jun 2021 (5 years ago)Wheatley Estates were a pleasure to deal with. Professional, friendly, no hard-sell. Queries were dealt with promptly and communication was excellent. Highly experienced and advice or information given was based on much experience. Very, very good.
1st Jun 2026 (16 weeks ago)We recently viewed a property in Southmoor which we really loved, fully aware it required a significant amount of work. We initially offered £378,000, and Graham contacted us to push £380,000, suggesting we increase our offer to secure the property. Reluctantly, we agreed as we didn’t want to lose it. Given the age of the property (1960s), we arranged a survey, which highlighted several issues. As a result, we submitted a revised offer to reflect the additional work required. Around the same time, we revisited the property and noticed that three fence panels were down, including one on our side. When I raised this with Graham, his response was dismissive, describing it as “only cosmetic,” which felt inappropriate given the rising cost of materials and repairs. Throughout the process, Graham’s attitude came across as dismissive and, at times, rude. Communication lacked professionalism, and we often felt our concerns were being minimised. We later received an email stating that the beneficiary’s husband, who is apparently a builder of 45 years, had dismissed the issues raised in the survey. This response felt unconstructive and contradictory, particularly as relatively minor issues like the fencing had not been addressed. Overall, the process raised multiple red flags, both in terms of communication and transparency. Unfortunately, our experience has been negative, and we would not feel confident dealing with this estate agent again and I would recommend other people to be aware of them.

5th Oct 2021 (4 years ago)Initially, when I first checked in, I had a terrible experience as the flat was not cleaned/prepared for my arrival up to the standard expected at all. However, Mubashir worked with me to solve all the issues, was super helpful and responsive and ensured that all issues were resolved on time. Since he took over, communication has been handled appropriately and it's been a pleasant experience so far
