24th Feb 2023 (3 years ago)This agent requires sixteen weeks.There wasn't communication after the contract was signed. The property was on the market, but it was the twelfth week before anyone enquired. Could not locate agents window on the high street. They do not use professional photographers, which was definitely a mistake. The agent works alternate Saturdays, but never informed me beforehand, and suggested I didn't tell him I would be away. Unsure of the question as he did agree to conducting the viewings. One viewer was due to come on a Saturday, but never showed. It's possible she tried to contact,but got no reply. It's the same response I got when I rang twice on that Saturday. He got the keys along with instructions to the alarm, but still managed to set it off. He does not come over too well, and can't say it's the right career choice.

In a very challenging market, where I had been lied to and duped by other agents, they provided an honest, highly professional and also supportive service when it was needed. 8th May 2024 (1 year ago)Agent turned up one and a half hours late for property inspection, no phone call to inform me. When I called their office a women said she has asked the women coming to visit to call me but she didn't bother. When I challenged her she said she had not been asked to call me to say she was going to be late only when she has finished her inspection (who's telling the truth) RED FLAG. She also whined on about being in a meeting and that she had only been working there for a week or so NOT MY PROBLEM not interested in time wasters. I needed to contact my landlord to inform him of the poor service he is paying for and in then contacted PP. A long story short when the evidence was put to Simon Bacon the manager he had no choice but to apologise to my landlord but no apology to me for wasting my time. Always going to apologise to the landlord because he's paying him. VERY POOR appears there is no proper in house or external communication. Glad I'm only going to here for a short period of time.

Keys on moving in, the checks were really quick. We’ve been in the property for 2 years now and have a great relationship with them still.
19th Feb 2026 (11 weeks ago)I’ve just completed the sale of my mother’s flat, through Harvey’s in Mere Green. Charles was knowledgeable, professional and helpful. It was good to have someone that made the process so smooth, especially as I live a few hours away. I would definitely recommend.
2nd Jul 2025 (10 mo. ago)Absolutely the worse agents ive ever dealt with, no communication, no answers in 6 months not 1 job was rectified on the property, was told by Craig we were a priority yet still nothing was done. House was dirty gardens overgrown. Lorraine avoids any question given to her or avoids your calls. I would advise anyone to avoid this shambles of an estate agents if you the type of person who likes communication and results not empty promises. Also charged us for tidying the gardens on us leaving even though they were worse when we moved in and told to leave it as we found it. 6 months of stress caused. AVOID AVOID AVOID

During all this time Lorna has always been extremely helpful and knowledgable guiding me in the right direction. When I sold my rental property it came with many problems which Lorna overcame with hard work and good advice. Her communication was always first class. I would highly recommend as her work ethic is second to none

1st Mar 2024 (2 years ago)Just finished our tenancy agreement after 2 years 3 months. The whole Preferential team have been fantastic but specially Emma K since I dealt with her from day one till the end of the tenancy, she is brilliant. to be fair they always fixed any fault in the property pretty quickly so thanks to Victoria for this. I did not deal much with the director Simon but he did some adjustments to my contract to be able to give the month notice from the day I exchanged contracts of the property I purchased so thanks for this. From our side we have kept the property always clean and taken care of it as if it was ours. I recommend Preferential.

He was always available to chat, never made us feel like a nuisance, and his advice was spot on every time. It’s rare to find an agent who is this invested in their clients. He and his lovely colleague Liz pushed our sale over the line when things got tough, and we are now happily settled in a home we love. We dealt with other estate agents in our buying process who left a lot to be desired to say the least and showed the vast gulf in class between local everyday operators and Eliza. Will be recommending her to anyone that asks!

24th Apr 2026 (11 days ago)The service I got was phenomenal. I mainly dealt with Karen who was helpful, honest and professional throughout. They estimated my house in a transparent and honest way when other estate agent had inflated the price to get me to sign up. The photos taken were exceptional and showcased my house well. I cannot recommend them enough.
