18th Jun 2022 (2 years ago)Wanted to view a few let properties. Was called and was told someone would get back to me after asking if I had pets and they never did. The property was advertised falsely too upon speaking with the agent.

17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.
10th Oct 2023 (11 mo. ago)From a landmark buildings perspective of East Grinstead this is one of the outstanding gems of architectural heritage. A simply beautiful building. I've often looked at the wonderful construction. And wondered its history. I used to do dowsing as a hobby years ago and marvelled at the apparent fact of all the underground catacombs and tunnels - of which there are many - seem for some reason to make for under this impressive old building.

2nd Sep 2024 (5 weeks ago)The team at Batchellor Monkhouse were the perfect partner for our house sale. Emma, Carly and Emily were a fab team who were supportive and realistic with their advice. If you're selling a character property in mid-Sussex then I would highly recommend them, this is their forte. And in fact, for us, we had sold our property before it even went on the market! Thanks gang, we got there! Move date this Friday!
4th Jul 2022 (2 years ago)terrible attendance. I was attended by a gentleman and I was very embarrassed. I felt like rubbish. me and my husband were treated like nothing. I believe because we are immigrants. I do not recommend this agency to anyone!

13th Feb 2024 (7 mo. ago)I would highly recommend Fine & Country and the team in West Malling , Michael was very honest with us from the beginning managed our expectation whilst having a genuine commitment to achieving the best outcome for us , we felt the team Emma and Karen were proactive in their marketing of the property and we were continually kept well informed both verbally and electronically throughout the whole process . Excellent communication and attention to detail from all the team we would highly recommend to anyone looking to sell a property.

Support after we accepted an offer, up to exchange was a great help in sorting out all sorts of problems that arise in the course of searches etc. Only comment is that when a sales person suggests you ask for ‘offers between’ - in reality buyers will only see the lowest price in their heads.- 21st Dec 2023 (9 mo. ago)Stuart and his team were excellent and very professional. Very responsive and excellent communication. The difference between the previous estate agent I used was like night and day. Would absolutely use them again 100%!
