Kate was really on the ball throughout the offer phase, and Chloe was truly dedicated through progression and to completion. And all with a sense of humour! Very happy customers, just wish I had used them in the first instance. Thank you team.
17th Jul 2024 (10 days ago)Fairly straightforward although I had to do a fair bit of chasing up. Our buyers were abroad and so things like money laundering paperwork seemed to take ages and the agents were slow to follow up

First time buyer, they've been rather misleading, told me they'd do certain things by a certain time-frame, which never happened and they never even told me they were having a delay. Would not recommend it. Bradley there has a non-serious attitude. Not the type of guy you want to work with when spending hundreds of thousands!!!!!

Annabel, Harry, Callum and Steve went above and beyond to sell our house, with many viewings and always updating us with any feedback. We also went on some viewings with Sam and Harry and they were both informative and very approachable to ask any questions about the houses we were looking to buy. The team at the Eastbourne fox and sons have been fantastic and we could not have asked for a better agent to help us with our journey. Thank you.
7th Jun 2024 (7 weeks ago)I just wanted to say a big thank you to the whole team at Crane & Co who sold my property in Pevensey. At first, I was doubtful about the price banding they endorse; surely the price is the price, but once they took the time to explain the benefits, it made complete sense, and I was convinced. Regarding the photographs of my property, Crane & Co have a very keen eye for detail indeed. Josh did the 3D tour and by the time they were finished editing and perfecting them, I must admit, I hardly recognised my own home, in a good way of course! The property description was expertly written with a real sense of passion & care. All viewings were done by the lovely Julie, who always has a big smile. She was always warm and friendly with my potential buyers and incredibly complimentary about my home! It obviously worked because immediately after the initial viewings, I received 2 offers, both exceeding my expectations! I was in no doubt this was due to Crane & Co’s expert marketing and knowledgeable team. My sale was then progressed by Amy with Katie the office manager overseeing, I was constantly updated at every stage by either phone or email and I never felt in the dark. Upon exchange I got a very thoughtful ‘moving home checklist’, which came in handy. What I thought would be an incredibly stressful time, was actually rather easy and stress free. Although admittedly their fee was higher than the rest, I truly believe and was proven right on this occasion ‘you get what you pay for!’ What more can I say… I honestly can’t thank you all enough. You all did a tremendous job! Joshua.

It was a very stressful time selling up and moving away from Hastings but from the moment I started working with Just Property in Hastings, everything fell into place. Austin took beautiful photos and everyone involved with the sale, worked hard to arrange viewings and to complete on the sale. A huge thank you to Kyle Logan for being amazing from the moment I walked into the office and said “Help I need to sell my flat” right up until I handed my keys over. He helped keep me calm, worked to find me the perfect buyer and really supported me through a very stressful time. Thanks to him I now live in a dream house in Kent and also know that my buyer is very happy in her flat in Hastings.

Selling a house is never easy but they took on everything that came our way and put our minds at ease . We can't recommend them enough they are a friendly helpful estate agent who certainly get results
13th Jun 2024 (6 weeks ago)Make sure to challenge them on the deposit return. Tell them you will use the Tenancy Deposit Scheme and don’t be afraid to use it if you believe you are right. They wanted to charge £455 from my deposit even though I left the property in much better condition than when I moved in. The agent made several false claims, but eventually settled for a £75 charge. I hope this review helps you get your deposit back and makes these agents understand that tenants’ deposits are only for covering damages, not for them to keep.

I worked with the company back in 2019 - 2021 and left due to poor management. Staff were treated so unprofessionally and it started to affect my mental health. Recently the two owners parted ways and they reached out to me again and asked if i wanted to work with them again. They promised me things have changed and the way they work is much better. I clearly did not last long there, considering that i am leaving this review 3 months after rejoining. I feel compelled to share my thoughts and insights. From the moment I rejoined the company, I noticed a concerning lack of transparency and ethical practices. The management seemed more focused on making quick profits rather than providing quality service to clients. One of the most alarming aspects of this estate agency was their consistent disregard for laws and regulations. They would often cut corners and bend rules to maximize their own gains, leaving clients vulnerable and uninformed. The lack of proper documentation, misleading advertising, and hidden fees were all common occurrences. Furthermore, there was a prevailing culture of dishonesty within the company. Agents were encouraged to use high-pressure tactics and misleading information to secure sales, often at the expense of the clients' best interests. This not only tarnished the reputation of the agency but also created an unhealthy and toxic work environment. Another concerning aspect was the lack of professionalism and accountability. Many of my colleagues lacked the necessary qualifications and experience, which resulted in poor customer service and inadequate advice. Moreover, when faced with complaints or issues, the management would often dismiss or ignore them, leaving clients frustrated and dissatisfied. Overall, my time at this dodgy estate agency was disheartening and has left a lasting negative impression. The lack of integrity, transparency, and professionalism made it impossible for me to continue working there. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly research alternative options.

18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!- 20th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)Honestly I could only reccommend Jade at Oakields. I found her to be friendly, knowledgable and willing to help with every stage of the process. I have had dealings with quite a number of letting agents in the bexhill and hastings areas over the past few weeks and jade stands head and shoulders above the rest.
