9th Mar 2026 (28 days ago)I would strongly advise against using this agency. We had an offer accepted by a landlord and were sent the contract and all payment details late Friday afternoon. Interestingly, they don’t take holding deposits (claiming they "don't operate that way"), yet they expected us to sign and transfer a very large sum of money immediately without having our questions answered. By Monday morning, we had cleared all queries, completed references, and signed the contract. After being told to wait for the landlord's "green light" for several hours while we were ready to pay, we were suddenly told the landlord had accepted another identical offer. The excuse given was that the "market is competitive," which is a poor cover for unprofessionalism. They wasted our time, energy, and personal data. Avoid if you want a transparent or reliable process.
19th Mar 2026 (18 days ago)Update: Having rented a property from Kubie Gold for the last 2 years and now moving out I wanted to reaffirm the 5* rating I had initially given. They Kubie Gold have been a pleasure to deal with the whole time - always responsive, professional and polite. Any issues reported within the flat were addressed quickly and in an effective manner. Big thanks to Akbar and Kevin as well as the rest of the team who have made the tenancy such positive experience. Would highly recommend. Initial Review: Excellent, professional and efficient. I had a great experience working with Akbar to secure a new flat to rent. After getting in touch with Kubie Gold I was able to arrange a viewing later the same day. The whole process was very quick and efficient; within a day of viewing I was able complete the necessary checks and sign the tenancy agreement, receiving the keys later that same week. Throughout out the process Akbar made himself available and quickly addressed any questions I had while proactively helping in any way possible to make the whole experience as smooth as possible (and continues to do so). Cannot fault the service I had received in any way, and would highly recommend.

Steve's very easy to get in touch with if there are any issues, and always let us know well in advance if there were any contractors coming to the building for maintenance, fire doors etc. Caroline also very helpful whenever we had any queries. Great bunch of people, we will miss the flat.

Josh has so much experience and was always available to respond to any queries we had quickly and efficiently when my son recently purchased a flat with his support. Communication throughout the whole process was excellent both with us and our solicitor. Highly recommend them!

They helped us with our initial purchase, to helping manage our property and most recently helped process the sale of our property in a very smooth manner. What sets them apart from others is the family feel, the friendly service and the fact they care. You don’t find that with many estate agents who take enormous pride with their work. If you are looking for a genuine estate agent who have great local expertise of Richmond, I would definitely recommend giving the Cantell Team a call

Then they handled the sale of the property, keeping us well informed throughout the process. Extremely proactive and productive, and speedy to react to enquiries.
