4th Apr 2024 (16 weeks ago)We recently used w h brown Harrogate to sell a relatives property and I have to say that the service was very good in general. We had been on the market with 2 other agents in Harrogate prior to browns dealing with the sale and had not had a great experience with either agent! So I was very specific in the service I wanted when instructing browns…. initially I dealt with the previous manager who was excellent but left the company prior to us agreeing a sale ….the new manager however Claire introduced herself and then handled the property negotiations at offer stage and chased the sale up, we completed approximately 9 weeks after agreeing the sale, she provided an excellent service.I was a manager of an estate agents for 25 years so know what makes a good agent and I can honestly recommend W H Brown Harrogate if you are looking to sell in the Harrogate area. We encountered them when buying a house a few years ago and were impressed at their fairness in handling the buyer/seller balance. Hence tje decision to use them when selling. This last transaction fell at a difficult time and had some complications but they showed patience, persistence, courtesy and even humour. In brief, we trust them.

From my initial contact, they have relentlessly kept great communication in what is a difficult market, to find our "forever house". Tom and Edward's experience is second to none. If we are ever in the market for another house (hopefully not, as my wife has promised), I would have no hesitation in calling Savills......10/10

Matt has been very helpful with his suggestions, the photography and video work was impressive as was communication during the house viewings. Both we and the buyers have commented since on how Matt's professional approach has made the whole process a lot easier for us.

Will not be dealing with this estate agent again. Waste of time and effort.

12th Jul 2024 (15 days ago)We recently purchased a new house, supposedly, through Cundalls, sadly I would hope we never have to use or rely on them in any way ever again. Initial online contact to obtain details produced no reply - we had to make a personnel call into their office to get this information with a poor internal reason given. As the new build progressed we had absolutely no contact what ever to keep us informed at any time. If it wasn't for our personnel contact with the builder we would still be awaiting this estate agent for any contact. We sincerely hope that they have not charged the developer for their totally inadequate service. (Unfortunately we have had to give one, undeserved, star in order to post this review)

27th Apr 2022 (2 years ago)Absolutely phenomenal service from Redmove Estate Agents. We sold our bungalow and the entire process from end to end was slick and efficient, from the original valuation carried out by Michael to the ongoing unapparelled support from Natalie who not only helped to actually sell our property but went on to provide continuous support and guidance throughout the entire process. It's a well know statistic that moving home is one of the most stressful things you can ever experience. However, we have to say that receiving the level of care and support we received from Natalie was not something we'd never experienced before and she enabled the move to be smooth and stress free. We have moved several times and we've never ever recieved such sublime service, care and support as we had with Redmove Estate Agents. If you're selling/buying a property and you want the very best then choose Redmove. High end fantastic service and value for money! Thank you so much to Michael, Natalie, & the Team for a job incredibly well done!!

(22 reviews)9th Dec 2023 (7 mo. ago)AVOID! If I could give zero stars I would. Please read the other 1star reviews. All accurate. Unless of course you enjoy paying someone £ks for doing nothing. Mark does literally the bare minimum to get paid i.e. list your property on right move and maybe email his database. I had to do all the viewings myself (despite asking prior and Williamsons saying they would do them), and chase for feedback. He went on holiday towards the start of our listing with them without telling us. They came to put the for sale sign up and put it facing IN to the garden. We turned it around ourselves. There was very little communication. He will blame the fact that my phone apparently didn't have a ring tone (although it rang and I always answered or called back) despite it being fine for everyone else. And despite it being the 21 century where things like text/WhatsApp/email etc exist. We didn't hear from him again after we accepted an offer, after 3 months I got in touch with them and asked if they could chase things and then it was Lynne who responded. We have still not heard a thing from Mark since. The only saving grace for this agent is Lynne in the office. Lovely and friendly and always willing to help but that was hugely overshadowed by the arrogance and neglect of Mark Williamson himself.

9th Jul 2024 (18 days ago)They rented an apartment in Selby which was equipped with a washing machine. The property has old style windows which cannot be opened. The washing machine broke, engineer said it was beyond repair. Jigsaw wanted me to buy a new myself, hence breaching a legally binding contract. No reduction in rent. When moved out, they wanted to charge cleaning the windows. These double-glazed windows had mold between the glasses and apparently wanted me to break the glass to clean them. There was mold because the ventilation was substandard and the whole apartment a health risk due to the mold exposure. This is how they treat customers.

She was happy to answer all our questions and was very encouraging about our sale.She was also very prompt in replying to emails and texts during this process. In the end we had a very straightforward sale as we swapped houses with our buyer, but that buyer came from one of the early viewings arranged by Monroes.I would recommend Kiera and Monroes without hesitation.
