There was no hard sell. I mostly liaised with Mark once marketing went live; he was excellent. I felt supported throughout the long negotiation and buying/selling chain time frame. Lucy was brilliant in helping us find the perfect fit for us. Amelia was fantastic and was always available for a call whenever we had questions. Would use Robert Watts again if we ever need to sell or buy a home.

Going above and beyond in every way and proving that getting a mortgage is not as difficult as I thought it would be. Being new to it all I wasn’t sure how it worked and Anne explained everything to me and made the process stress free and successful despite all odds. In the final stages of completing she was very helpful in getting it sorted, dealing with both solicitors and clients in a long chain of six! Always professional, kind and supportive throughout the process, with many phone calls and reassuring explanations. They know the local area very well, the communication was well paced, realistic and relevant. The latter part of 2025 housing market conditions have proved difficult based on the economical impacts and due to the seasonality. Despite that things have progressed nicely.

7th Apr 2026 (28 days ago)I had a very frustrating experience dealing with Whitegates. After my contract ended and I had given proper notice, my property remained listed on Rightmove without my consent. Despite multiple emails and phone calls, I received little to no response, and promises of callbacks were not followed through. It felt like I was being ignored, and the property continued to be marketed even after I had clearly withdrawn instruction. I was also told a £250 termination fee was required, but this was only withdrawn after I challenged it and escalated the matter. Eventually, the issue was resolved, but only after significant effort on my part. Communication throughout was poor, and the situation could have been handled much more professionally. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to carefully review the terms of agreement and be prepared to follow up persistently if issues arise. Unfortunately, I would not use this agent again.

They went above and beyond to get the viewers in to look at the property and tried their best to advertise the house in the best way possible. Finally we have a buyer and its thanks to David and Freddie. Trust, honesty and straight talking is what you want and its what we got with them so thank you both again.

Whilst we was dealing with the pain of bereavement and deciding to sell our parents house, dealing with Darren was friendly, very knowledgable and professional advising us through all the stages of selling the property and made the process as easy as possible. He was available and a constant throughout and went above and beyond to keep us updated right through to completion when we was not getting much updates from the Solicitor.

When we went to collect the keys to our new house, we were delighted to receive a welcome hamper of prosecco and Yorkshire goodies.

I can’t thank Steph Chadwick enough and would recommend her completely if you’re looking to buy in the Caulderdale area. Also thanks to Joy for my first introduction to the house on my initial viewing. It has truly felt like my home since opening the front door on completion day and I believe the smoothness and consideration of how Ewe Move helped me to buy my house really helped get me there! 26th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)I’m not the kind of person to bother writing reviews, however, I feel that my experience with Home and Manor has been the best I’ve had to date and I’ve bought and sold quite a few houses over the years. From the very start of the process Kelly came out to value my property and I feel she got the valuation spot on but in addition to that she impressed me with her experience and drive. She convinced me that Home and Manor would provide a first class service. I managed to sell my property for asking price and throughout, I have been kept in the loop at every stage. From viewings to offers everything was kept stream lined with excellent communication from Alex, Amanda, Jack and Lexie. The sale progression has also been amazing with Laura Oldroyd, keeping me updated every week. Over all I think they are absolutely fantastic and would recommend to anyone.
