We have recently completed the sale of a property through Beresford.
Apart from the fact that they managed to get us an offer/ buyer quite quickly they have been absent and unhelpful for most of the transaction.
From November until 2 or 3 weeks before we completed, Beresford barely communicated with us and were uncontainable despite multiple phone calls from ourselves, solicitors and other estate agents on our behalf.
In January Beresford contacted us to say our chain may be breaking as someone lower down was planning on pulling out of the sale and then we received no further communications. The sale was saved by an estate agent higher up in the chain who bypassed Beresford as they didn't answer their phoned and spoke with the agents from lower in the chain.
I emailed Beresford to complain about the lack of service and communication while mentioning the property was now being sold at a different price. I received no communications to my complaint but I did receive a new memorandum of sale.
As I couldn't get through to Beresford on the phone when the transaction was getting close to exchange, we went into the branch to complain about the lack of service we have received.
I then received a call from the agent who was involved in the sale but he did not acknowledge our complaint and spoke to us as though they've been communicating with us throughout.
All in all, throughout the journey we have been on to purchase and sell, this estate agent has been lacking in all areas of service and we would not use again- especially for the amount of money they charged us!

Very happy with the service so far. Oliver has been so helpful with booking viewings. He has a warm, friendly and professional manner and listened carefully to my requirements as a buyer. All calls have been followed up quickly with an e-mail and it’s been a great experience.

The experience with them dealing the entire process was smooth and fast. Phillipia especially was very accomodating and very informative. This is my first time transferring into a flat or a property thst deals with agent and it was a brilliant experience. I like how they are very active in updating or taking follow ups from the client regarding the progress. Well done.

You would think for a 1st time buyer that it would be the most exciting time for me, but been the worst experience I've had. So today i completed on my house and my Keys are still with the Vendor.
Last week i called them to see if the vendor can send keys to my solicitor got told he would do it at 2pm i asked the estate agents if they could drop the keys to me due to me having a stroke and no transport got told they would call me back and when they call to congratulate me that's when i find out where my keys are and now got to wait for the vendor to finish work and take them to my solicitor COMPLETE JOKE!!!
Just to now add to all this i just thought id go round to my property at 12pm to find the vendor still in the property and all money got transferred over at 10am ive just had to get onto my solicitor onto them as that property is Mine.
