Both Sam and Niel should be commended on their patience and knowledge. Both of them worked for the sellers while we were the buyers. You wouldn’t have known it, they were always at the end of the phone and happy to help however silly the question. While most companies have decided to offer 5 recorded messages before getting through to the wrong person, either of these two can normally be reached directly within a minute.
To top it all off, the massive smile across Sams face when he got to hand us the keys is testament to how much he loves his job and cares about people.

I’ve just moved into a property managed by Beresfords and my partner and I have found Joleen nothing short of brilliant. She has been incredibly accommodating with the shifts we work to enable us contractors to sort out issues at the property and has chased contractors when they haven’t been in contact. Joleen has always called when she has said she would and whilst I’m sure the issues raised become tedious you wouldn’t know it as she is always happy to help and is always approachable. This has made the stressful process much easier which I’ve never experienced before with a letting agent. It really makes all the difference when renting a property and I know that any future issues will be resolved as fast as possible and with care.

Where do I start when I talk about Beresfords at Maldon !!??
More to the point where do I start with the sheer brilliance and tenacity of Nick Lindsell !
Upon our very first meeting I was instantly drawn to Nick. He not only marketed my property expertly, but was always a joy to speak to.
He really did have my best interest in mind, thoroughly explained how the process would work, and timely had my property on the market within a few days of instruction.
Nick ALWAYS kept me updated from my initial viewing to exchange.
This probably wasn't the easiest of sales, due to the tortoise like pace of the bottom of the chain! So slow that it almost put us all in therapy!
This wasn't going to deter Nick neither Neil and a terrific man called Sam (I say terrific because he had to answer the phone to me all the time......poor man)
These guys were like a dog with a bone and never failed to keep me upto date with the progress.
If you want to sell your house with a determined committed team, and one that is intouch with the current market and the huge uncertainty that bestows many of us at the moment, then look no further!! Seriously.....stop......don't look any further!!!
Beresfords are a family company, with family values......this is something that can be missed (with some companies) to the detriment of us the seller, but not with Beresfords iand this great team in Maldon.
EMPHASIS on the word TEAM......I know the old cliché of 'Teamwork makes the dream work' , but it really does, and ALL singing from the same song sheet !

Didn’t sell. No communication at all unless I emailed. Even after receiving an apology for this there was no change. No viewings at all in 8 weeks despite reducing by £75k below initial asking price - more of a market reflection than anything to do with the agent as they are selling other much more expensive and much cheaper properties in our area, so more to do with the economic situation and interest rates. However if we were to list again not sure whether we’d go back. Neil was very polite and customer service when I did manage to get in touch was polite and friendly.

Lauren especially is a magnificent asset to Beresfords group. We called many times, often with naive questions and wanting to find things out during the process, of which often were 'silly' questions. Lauren's professionalism is on point !! She returned calls exactly when she said she would, kept us informed regularly along the way and gives a real sense of care for our cause.

I have always found Beresfords to be both businesslike? and professional .
They do a difficult job in balancing the needs of the tenant and landlord alike .
In my own experience Beresfords have always been approachable when repairs are needed . The work gets done because their policy is to chase up the tradesmen until the work is completed .
Overall, I would recommend Beresfords if you have to use a letting agency.
I gave them 5 stars due to their professionalism and courtesy in doing a very tough job.
