Pre Oboarding Feedback
The Beresfords team have handled our process smoothly from the beginning. Katy did the viewing for us and she was great, Joe and Abby have also been brilliant answering all our questions in a timely manner. They have made us to feel comfortable throughout the process. We are very happy with the service that has been provided to us
Post Onboarding Edit
I initially left the above a positive review based on the early stages of the process, which were handled efficiently. However, having now completed the move, I feel it’s important to update my feedback to reflect the full experience.
While the administrative side of the tenancy was completed, the move-in and onboarding experience fell significantly below expectations. In my several experiences from different agents as a long-term renter, it has been standard for agents to provide at least a basic level of support when tenants move in, such as meeting at the property, offering a brief orientation, and sharing key practical information (e.g. bin collection days, transport links, local services, and how to operate heating and meters).
Instead, we were asked to collect the keys from the office, the handover was rushed, and when we asked simple questions, we were told to ‘google it’ ourselves because that is what she did when she moved into her home. This felt dismissive and did not reflect a customer-focused approach.
While the core requirements may have been met, the overall experience felt like the bare minimum. A more professional and welcoming onboarding process would make a significant difference to tenants and better reflect the standards expected from a letting agent.
