Eleanor has been my main point of contact and I can honestly say she has made the process of selling, from start to finish, 1000x easier. So so helpful, knowledgeable & friendly. I would often get updates from Eleanor before my own solicitor!

Samantha Robinson is our property manager and she has been fantastic so far.
We have had a a few minor issues with a window and a leaking pipe when we first moved in but Samantha dealt with everything quickly and efficiently. This was amazing service as our previous agent whom we were with for over 4 years took ages to respond to any issue we had.

She is efficient and courteous with excellent communication skills. Sam liaises between myself and the tenants perfectly and always reports back to ensure everyone is happy with the outcome. Samantha is our got to at Beresfords for anything with our tenancy and she has recently been an absolute star. Our washing machine broke and within a day of reporting it she had got an engineer booked in to visit and then when it ended up needing to be replaced she spoke to the landlord and got it approved and booked in, again in only a day. All this while there had been a storm and I imagine she was inundated with other tenants repairs and problems. At the same time we were also enquiring about amending our tenancy and she was handling this quickly and efficiently in a separate email thread. She’s always quick to reply and will find an answer for us as soon as she can. We really appreciate her efficient, speedy, and friendly service.

Over the last few years Samantha Robinson has been our property manager and she has been fantastic. We have had a a few issues with appliances and lights and she has sorted every single one of them. She deals with everything quickly and efficiently and keeps you updated with the progress of them all.
She also helped massively when we wanted to make a change to our contract. She negotiated with all the relevant parties to get us the changes we wanted.

What can I say about Sam, she is absolutely amazing.
Sam goes out of her way to resolve issues and ensures tenants are happy.
Any maintenance issues I have reported have been resolved with the greatest of efficiency and speed. Sam ensures everything is resolved smoothly between landlord and tenant.
I really value Sam in her role and being able to call her with an issue. She is incredibly patient, kind and diplomatic.
Sam recently went out of her way to assist me with a prolonged maintenance issue, she checked in daily on progress and to make sure I as the tenant was ok and provided advice and listened.
Sam is a complete asset to Beresfords and we'd be lost without her.

Made an offer on a house which was for sale with Beresfords, Braintree. A week later, I have still had no reply to the offer. I have chased Beresfords twice during this time and have been fobbed off on each occasion, as well as being advised that viewings on the property are still taking place ie the veiled threat that I need to increase my offer or else…
It may well not be Beresfords fault that the vendor has not actually said yes or no to my offer but I shouldn’t have had to constantly request updates, information etc. I was also promised callbacks that never came.
I have now pulled out and am dealing with a competitor estate agent who very actively wants my business.

Had property on for 18 weeks never once contacted us to offer any opinions or suggestions or let us know how it was doing ie viewing figures online etc I went in after a few weeks and suggested that maybe they had overpriced it and suggested that we dropped it by £40k not one single viewing in all that time not necessarily their fault but lack of communication dismal

Private renting is not the way to go for everyone, most landlords want you use the fact the you will pay for everything, within the property, and the experience my family and I have has been disgusting to say the least, the doors were not able to open and close, and the bathroom flooring had polystyrene under the flooring, the garden was a mess, including the fencing and the landlord was expecting us to do all this.
The Beresfords letting agency is unprofessional as there are too many people who contact you and this makes for unsuccessful communication, to all parties, they are legitimised professional con artist.
