Chancellors - Richmond mainly list properties in TW10, TW9 and TW7. Over the last 6 months, they've listed 43 properties, with 40 currently on the market.
Most of the properties listed
have 2 bedrooms.
They list properties for sale on
both Rightmove and Zoopla.
Awful service from Anscombe and Ringland, who have been managing the tenancy of my flat and let out through them. I will not use them again for several reasons;
• When my tenant went into arrears they informed me that they would chase them for the remainder of the rent. It took them 2 weeks to write a first reminder which they sent following a call from myself to see what progress had been made.
• I asked them to get some quotes for a repair in January, in March I asked why I hadn't received any. I was told that my property had been moved to a different team and that they would organise the quotes. I asked again after the tenancy ended in April and I am still waiting for an explanation as to why they hadn't organised any quotes as promised.
• The check out report following the end of the tenancy is inaccurate and one of the lights had been left on and only 1 of the 3 locks had been locked. I complained about this. I have found Anscombes have been unhelpful and even obstructive in trying to remedy the situation.
When sent an attachment that I was unable to read I responded within 15 minutes requesting for the attachment to be resent and I phoned the following day to ask again. It took 6 days to get a response which was without the attachment. This is a lot of time to waste when you only have 4 weeks to make claims for damages, which Anscombes did not inform me about. I have been told that the TDS will not accept claims for damages that are not included in the inaccurate check out report, and neither can I claim for missing items, which are actually listed as not seen in the report because my tennat claims that they are in the flat!
I cannot recommend anyone entrust their property with Anscombe and Ringland and I would also caution against sharing your contact details with them. I had an email from the lettings department stating that they left me a voicemail. I have received no voicemail so I don’t know as to whom they have left this message with or if contains privileged information.
Many thanks to the whole team in the Carterton branch who ensured my apartment sale went through smoothly. I must give particular credit to Simon Capel, who found a buyer within 2 days of the property going onto the market and agreed the full asking price. His diligence and communication resulted in a speedy completion, not an easy feat for a leashold apartment. Sterling job, cheers.
