Chancellors were very efficient and organised, with everything set up to make the selling process run as smoothly as possible. These are strange times with the Covid restrictions, but they had it all in hand.

Lidl equivalent of estate agents, bunch of people having A-GO. These guys make the characters in White Gold - (dodgy double glazing salesmen) Look like model citizens.

The worst company. The worst staff. Fooled us for getting house. I saw the house and I was told all repairs and paint will be done. Landlord is flexible for moving his furniture. Garden also not done.We moved in and nothing was done.
The worst worst experience for us. It's like we are cheated . Agents were not at all cooperative. The house is overly full of furniture. So much work to be done.
Never recommend this company .
They dont even deserve one star.

They were offering a house that did not have permit. We got the offer accepted. We got the references checked and passed. Then they told us the house doesn’t have a permit and the council called them about it. They left us without a house 10 days before our moving day. They vanished.
We found an other house with different agency. It’s been 1+ month now and still waiting an email with at least a simple “sorry we failed to provide our services”.

don't waste your time with their "sales team" crooks in suits. Pretending to be unable to get hold of the flat owner for few days, not returning phone calls .. jog on with your "offers above" ...

I had a great experience on the rental side with Chancellors, dealing with both Ben but mainly Kylie. Kylie was extremely helpful, always very positive about the property when showing clients around. Her comments sounded very sincere and not just the usual bland stuff that you often hear from E.A. It was great having Kylie to work with.

Tennants beware! We've waited over 4 weeks for an update on our deposit since vacating one of their properties. This was delayed because our landlords had conveniently gone on holiday.

Chancellors have since responded and are currently trying to take £800+ in "maintenance costs". They didn't even send a breakdown or an itemised bill of these costs. It's another thing we've had to chase.

They want a brand new toilet! A new bath panel! The house wasn't even that great of shape when we first moved in. There has been no deliberate damage caused to this property and after two years they should allow wear and tear. The things listed are very minor but are charging a small fortune.

As tenants we don't feel as though we have any support from Chancellor's. We'll probably have to go through TDS of any chance of seeing our money back which will only drag out longer.

This is a time where we need this money more than ever. We looked after this home as if it were our own and left it in the best possible condition we could. It was not perfect to start with and these charges are completely unreasonable. Please avoid.

A house move is always a stressful experience so an understanding and sympathetic team is a massive plus from a customer's point of view. Timothy has been a very helpful and supportive professional with reassuring answers when things have gotten stressful or uncertain. I'm almost embarrassed by the number of phone calls and emails I made to him but he answered every single one so thank you for all the help!
