Very bad customer service!
We are looking for a rental property and we liked one. The staff said to call him when he is at office. We called around 8 times to the office to talk that staff Harrison and requested to call back. But they never called back. Such a waste of time! We never use their services anymore!

We signed up with Charters when we were in the process of selling our home. They were incredibly helpful and the cost was competitive. The house sold within 2 weeks. We then were passed to Stephen who progressed the sale, liaising between all parties. He was very good and put a lot of effort into helping us with our journey and trust me it wasn’t straight forward!! Thankyou Stephen.
The only reason this is not 5 stars is that when the agent from Charters was showing our first potential customer around he misinformed them about the heating in the kitchen, so we had to step in also he arrived at the same time as the customer, (hence why he didn’t know about it) But that’s a minor issue. Thanks also to Andy who also helped push this forward especially in the final weeks.

Charters are fantastic to work with, we initially turned up to Charters to register our interest within the area, after only a few weeks we were contacted to view a property that matched our criteria. Nathan met us at the property and we could see straight away it was for us. The next day Nathan called us before we had a chance to call him which was fantastic and we put in our offer. This was then relayed back to the vendor and within the hour we had our offer accepted. Nathan kindly met us for a second visit late on a Friday which was greatly appreciated. Since this point, we used their mortgage adviser Simon who helped us find the best provider as well as protection cover, we then used their recommendation for a home buyers survey, Trinity Rose. Our lives we made so easy keeping everything in house, we were always kept upto date by Gemma until the day we completed. We can't thank Charters in Bishops Waltham enough, highly recommend them.

We came home from holiday to find that Charters had put up a ‘For Sale’ sign outside our house. Needless to say, it wasn’t for sale. The jobsworth I first spoke to wasn’t interested. I eventually found someone who was, who expressed great regret, and who promised to collect the sign. After a week, and a reminder call, nothing had happened, so it went in the bin.
Do they take that much care when selling houses?

Which is sad because when they were "Bishops" run by Ben Stream they were FAB. Just how much incompetency can you actually fit into one office? I am looking for a property in Hampshire and Charters have been very proactive in sending me properties. I have also had contact with Dale who has made the effort to phone me to discuss our needs and also to advise me when and why he is sending a particular property. Very pleased with the service.

As we are moving from Hertfordshire to Hampshire we registered with lots of the Estate Agents around the Bishops Waltham area. The Charters team and especially Dale have been the most pro-active agents by far. We feel that Dale has listened to our requirements in searching for a new home and has contacted us regarding properties that fit our criteria. We're still looking though.

I have to say that Charters dont seem to match the old team that was Bishops and its a shame that all functions do not now operate from Bishops Waltham. However the exception is Sarah who is trying hard to let our property and always returns calls and answers queries promptly with every courtesy.

After finding out we needed an immediate move, we went to several different agents for help but I can hands down say that I have never received a service that even closely matches that of Charters. Every phone call, email or face to face was perfect in terms of service. We dealt mostly with Sarah who was absolutely wonderful and really seemed to take a genuine interest in helping us through such a stressful time. I honestly would recommend them to anyone.
