I had found a property that Connells had posted and agreed to a viewing and mortgage appointment on the same day. I found the appointment and the viewing to be extremely useful, I was super happy and ready to go ahead and purchase the property. I had an email chain back and forth with the advisor regarding the mortgage. Some issues came up and the advisor assured us she would help us the best she could. However this would be the last time we would hear from her for two months, as she did not contact us again. I then found another property with Connells some time later to which another advisor called me back and had recognised my name from before. He had the previous advisor contact me, and when she did, she asked me if I was still interested in the property from before. I had never lost interest in the property, was simply wearing to hear back and never did. And to top this, I replied back saying we were still interested and have not heard a response since! It was a beautiful duplex which has been sold now, which is very unfortunate as I was happy to purchase at the time. Will definitely not be doing business with Connells again as was a waste of time and very unprofessional.

Whilst not purchasing/selling a property via Connells, I wanted to write a review to give positive feedback for Humeirah, who showed such great persistence and attitude to ensure I was happy with my process and service from another Estate Agent. I did not go with Connells due to the experience I had with the agent who came to do a valuation, who has since left his role - if I met her before I went with my current agent, I would have very likely have gone ahead with Connells via Humeirah as her determination was second to none. Highly recommend if you want someone reliable!

Received my mortgage offer today in the post and I am over the moon as I managed to get an offer at a much lower rate that I was expecting and this was all down to Natasha Morello the mortgage adviser at the Wycombe office.
I am incredibly grateful to Tash for all her hard work and expertise. She really did work hard to get the offer for me and I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I've had to change my review because of the level of professionalism and service from Natasha. She did a great job when we initially met as our mortgage broker, however towards the end of our completion, she was very pushy and definitely overstepped her position as a mortgage broker.
Our purchase took a bit of time with delays because of Connell's recommended Solicitor, Swiitch, who their client was using. They were absolutely dreadful in responding back to our solicitor. Natasha said they have access to the Swiitch portal so can view any updates/correspondence regarding our property. Natasha called us often for updates as apparently our solicitors were unresponsive, which is untrue as we have proof of email correspondence. This clearly shows she either didn't check the portal or Swiitch never made any updates. Swiitch would take weeks to reply to our solicitor, even though Natasha said Swiitch are not really busy and reply within hours.
The seller threatened to pull out because of outstanding enquiries we were waiting for from Swiitch, which we initially asked for 5months ago, only for them to send it a day before completion. Natasha was very pushy, and somewhat blamed us for the delay.
We received the contracts on a Friday, and with so much to read, had the weekend to go through the details to sign for Monday morning. Natasha really overstepped and kept telling us to just sign the contracts without reading the reports, so we can push completion. We're first time buyers and found this really out of order. I don't even understand why she is pushing for this as she is the mortgage broker, not a solicitor. She had no right advising us when to sign the contracts.
Humeirah did a wonderful job in showing us different properties and its shame I can't leave separate reviews as she deserves the 5 stars but Natasha has let the team down.
Overall, a downhill experience and I'd advise not to go with their recommended solicitor.

Could not recommend Natasha Morello more highly. As a first time buyer the entire process was unknown to me and very confusing. Natasha talked me through every step and was super responsive to any questions I sent via email. We ran into difficulties getting a mortgage but this was all sorted and actually a pretty smooth process in the end.
Connells were also responsive and quick in getting viewing and snagging lists sorted.
Overall buying is a long and tough process, but Natasha made this all manageable and for that I can not thank her or recommend her enough!

I contacted Connells online with respect to a valuation for my late parent’s property. I received a call back within an hour on a Sunday and an appointment was made for Greg Darby to carry out the valuation. He arrived on time and was courteous and professional, he gave me a verbal valuation for the property and followed up with a written valuation a couple of days later as discussed. Just sold my late my late mothers property via Connells in High Wycombe. I found all the staff very friendly and helpful. Greg dealt with the finer details and made the journey as smooth as possible although at sometimes frustrating, due to small communication issues. I would recommend however as I understand that most of these were outside of their control. All of the staff with Greg leading were compassionate and easy to deal with. Well done!

Can't thank Natasha enough for helping us through with our mortgage. Had no idea how mortgages worked when we first sat down with Natasha and she talked us through everything. She was able to talk us through all of the different mortgage options clearly with incredible patience while we got our heads round it all! Even when we had several hiccups with solicitors or other estate agents/vendors she was always on hand to pick up the phone and try and straighten things out for us, going above and beyond what we thought a mortgage advisor would do.

Wasted well over a year with these guys and got nothing but lies and false promises. Like others have stated, we had to chase for updates and they very rarely called back. Our case was managed by their then branch manager, Arif, who was a complete joke. When others took over our purchase they were no better. In the end, we lost our buyer and after over a year with these guys the sale collapsed due to their incompetence and lies. We did contact their head office and made an official complaint but they failed to follow it up. I would avoid this branch of Connells if you can....its agents like these that give estate agents the bad reputation they are universally known for. Check out their reviews on trust pilot. That will give you a taste of what this company is really like.

Extremely disappointed with the Connells High Wycombe branch. I put my property on the market early January and have recently taken it off. They tie you in to a 26 week contract and make zero effort to communicate anything with you. There are similar properties at a similar price that were selling and connells exuses all the time was the price. I dropped the price 30k over 3 months. Whilst I understand the market is challenging and property has reduced I expected better communication and atleast 1 viewer on my property. When calling the office to speak with someone conveniently they were always busy, you would leave a vociemail and send an email without a reply and would then have to chase a call back. I would have to wait 2 working days to speak to the branch manager about my concerns and when that day came no call was made to me. I called to chase to speak with the branch manager and was told he was on conference calls and was busy. I an hour later get a call back from their admin lady (in fairness she is the only one I have a positive word to say about) telling me they would be happy to take my property off the market at my request. The manager couldn't even call me back to discuss. Clearly they have no interest in selling the properties they have had listed for a while but instead more concerned about getting new clients properties on their books to tie them in to a 6 month contract to later disappoint them. I would suggest avoiding this company at all costs if you want any work or any communication. Its been an awful experience from start to finish and I wish I had done better research then to instruct them.

They got the marketing up and running pretty quickly and then processed some 40 viewings in a very short space of time which led to a number of offers being received, one of which we accepted and which led to the eventual sale. Thanks Connells for a great service
After trying two other agents 18 months before I decided to contact Connells after receiving a good review about their service.
Instead of a lot of foot traffic trudging through my home with no real interest or hardly anyone turning up at all, Connells seemed to get the right people in each time.
Not only did they find a buyer but I also got close to the asking price.
In a very trying time I cant thank them enough for their service.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Massive thank you to Sophie who was amazing at showing us properties that met our requirements and was there whenever we needed her. Extremely knowledgeable about the area and properties before entering which made the viewing a lot better in comparison to other estate agents I've viewed with. Always available on the phone or by email to answer any queries we would have.

Please avoid them they are really bad.
On the 24th of February I had a viewing with them,
there was a property in Zoopla advertised by them for 300k.
This property was on Alford road in High Wycombe. There were no pictures in the advertisement, it said something like awaiting
professional photography, however as this proprty was within my budget I decided to view the proprty.
The propert was not in a good condition hence I made an offer of 290k while I was at the property with the agent.
After an hour, I called them and advised the person who attended the call, I may have offered a bit too much,
I would like to reduce the offer to 285k.
I was advised the offer was a bit too low, someone has already made an offer more than 285k,
further to this there was a house nearby which has
sold for 310k, so this will not work out, I need to make a higher offer if I wanted to secure the property.
I said no thank you, and ended the call. The next day someone else from their company called in and
advised that my offer of 295k had been accepted. I advised them that I had made no such offer of 295k,
I did want to make an offer of 285k however the person attending the call the day before, had advised someone made a higher offer
and if I wanted to secure the property I had to make a higher offer. I was advised this is not true
someone has made an offer however it is lower than 285k, and asked me if I wanted to proceed with the offer of 285k.
I advised them I made an offer elsewhere which got accepted and ended the call. Today which is the 23rd of March,
I get a call from them asking if I am still interested in viewing properties in High Wycombe, I said no
and wanted to elaborate on the bad service I received from them, the agent was not interested in hearing me out
he just said this call is for us to see if you are still interested in viewing properties, if not I will take your name off.
Following this the call was terminated. Also, when you call them initially they try to force you to take up their mortgage.
The branch in High wycome is bad but I dealt with their Aylesbury arm which is better.

Their driver MR Miles thompson smashed into my car and then tried to fraudulently claim against me when i have 30 text messages with him admitting fault. Good luck with that Miles.

It shocks me to find so many reviews citing great communication from these guys. We spent months having to chase for the slighest of updates never getting calls returned. Looking back now I cant think of a single time that we weren't lied to about how close to completion we were (spoiler alert: we pulled out after 2 months of weekly promises that we would be moving in within 3 weeks).

Spoke to a man at the high wycombe branch just now and had the worst possible service imaginable. The gentlemen said he is a mortgage advisor. He suggested i view the property with purple bricks instead of connells as ive already had my first viewing through them. I asked him if theres been any offere on the property and he said he couldnt provide me with any information on the property. He then rejected my request for a viewing through connells. I asked for his name and he hung up on me. this is the worst experience ive ever had with an estate agents. We are serious buyers and very interested in the property. I will log this complaint on other formats and also write an email.

Very Very Bad service I have ever had from this Branch as the Experience is totally unpleasant,
I have showed an interest for one of the property which Connells High Wycombe Branch is dealing with has value about £245000.00.
When I have rang them in the Morning that time the person from the sales team told me that because he got a meeting he cannot talked to me and promised me to rang back.
Then I have contacted again around at lunch time and left message to receptionist about the same property then receptionist has taken my details and told me that someone will give me a ring
Then I have got a phone call and I have given my all the details including email address and at the end of the conversation that person was asked me for my current situations and I have responded what way and the phone line was cut off in between and same time that person asked me to drop details in email for the property which I asked for !
However after Phone cut off I have not received any phone call from the Connells and then I have rang after my work at 16.15 and same person has picked up call and said he is going to book an appointment for coming Tuesday for viewing the Property and he also said that the Morgage appointment will be conducted on same time which I have not asked for !
Anyway I have received an email after 15 mins from the conversation that The property which I enquire about has no longer exist and they can still go ahead for morgage appointment on Tuesday !
And I have written an email to them stated that if the Property is No longer available than why Connell's has wasted my time for ? And sent and email said that the experience is completely unpleasant but Connells have not showed any courtesy for my email after had that bad experience

Having switched from Hurst who we were selling with for 28 weeks to Connells, Connells managed to triple our viewings and secure us a buyer within a few weeks.
They didn’t estimate the value of our property high to secure us for the sale only to slash the price for a quick sale in the end. We had estimates like this from various others...
Connells were fair and honest about it and the market at present.
Miles and Jordan are on the ball, they keep in touch and update us regularly. They both and the team work hard for their clients. Fully recommend and glad we switched.

Well I for one would never use them again. Excellent start, down hill from there. Told them I was away so no viewings, so they I'd a viewing with no notification, I complained, lots of apologies, then the day we arrived back did another viewing with no notification, again complained, again apologies. Told there was viewing, did all the necessary, nobody turned up, complained, more apologies. Decided by this point they were useless, so tried to end my contract, told you're locked in for 26 weeks, my stupidity, didn't ask the question during the initial meeting, I challenged this as this was never discussed. Legal advice this is not legally binding. Now with ombudsman. Be very aware of this if you choose them. Totally useless. No viewings now for 4 weeks

ABSOLUTE JOKE OF AN AGENTS. STILL WAITING OVER TWO MONTHS FOR OUR DEPOSIT. WE LEFT THE HOUSE IN AN IMMACULATE CONDITION AND DEPARTED AS SOON AS WE WERE ASKED. i highly recommend Connells estate agency and to be honest they are the best we have ever dealt with and we have moved many times due to our jobs.
Gari who has a wealth of experience heads up an excellent team of guys, Ajeet, Reuben & John to name a few who are always most professional and helpful to deal with. I would say its lucky for the Aylesbury branch for not having a Facebook page. Terrible customer service followed by rude inexperienced staff, helping my younger brother deal with an early end of tenancy was harder than the tour of afghan i did. Would not recommend at all, pop round the corner to Wye!!

Bad customer service. Tried to buy a property with them but went unsuccessful because the developer pulled out and deducted £1500 (50%) fee because THEY FANCIED PULLING OUT OF THE DEAL. Hence incurring costs without my fault. Very pushy on using their own solicitors and mortgage advisors who are expensive. We did not wish to use their advisors and hence they did not sell us the property. Not advisable to use them.
