Connells have been great managing my properties. Jack Grimes is my account holder and I cannot praise him enough. He is quick on email responses and dealing with tenant issues. I have been with Connells since 2020 and to start with I wasn’t too sure as the turnover of account managers was high. Lewis was amazing in getting the price spot on for my expectations and the market. Harry and Ellie were great in filling an open house and were so flexible to work around my schedule. I dealt with both Toni and Tasmin and these ladies both handled the transaction incredibly swiftly and kept the process smooth and simple, handling all matters with full communication
I couldn’t recommend the branch enough. Moving is stressful in itself and it lightens the load when you have efficient and hard working team members behind the scene to take any logistics off your shoulders.

As a first time buyer, I really didn’t know where to start or what to do. Charlie has been instrumental it getting the wheels in motion on our house buying journey. He has been so attentive to every single question I’ve had and without Charlie and Stuart keeping a clear line of communication with each other and with us, we wouldn’t have ever thought we could go for our dream property! Charlie knew from one simple conversation exactly what we were looking for and made sure we viewed plenty of different properties to be sure.

Very poor by Connells today. my parents were booked I'm for a 430pm viewing on a rented house in plymstock and the estate agents completely no showed. rang the office multiple times and none of them had a clue. apparently Rebecca from plympton was meant to do it but must have double booked as she was at another viewing elsewhere at the time. told they would get a phonecall back and heard nothing since. embarrassingly bad customer service. leaving viewers stranded outside and zero communication p. a simple phonecall apologising and rescheduling would have been the most basic service and my parents didn't even get that. pathetic.

Customer service at its best. Mary ,Zoe and the team have done everthing in there power to find my family a home. They go that extra mile, and dont give up. I am also using Connells mortage adviser and solicitors as this was offered and that's why there customer service is outstanding. They keep me updated, they chase the solicitor when needed, they just call to check in and see if they can do any more. This is customer service at its best. They have made buying a house a little less stressful and I can't thank them enought.

Called 3 times to arrange a viewing on 2 properties. Each time a girl answered who sounded impatient and irritated by my call, told me,'they were all in a meeting and someone would call me back. 'They' never did call back. So, if you are the sellers of the properties on Horsham Rd and Merrivale Road, I would change agents!

No problems with the lettings department until my son moved out of his flat. It became apparent that the original inventory had not been amended with several issues which arose on moving in which then led to discrepancies on the moving out report. It took numerous phonecalls to chase things up and the lettings department were extremely unhelpful and not always truthful about what had actually been done to sort this out. It took 5 weeks for them to ask the landlord for written confirmation that the full deposit was to be paid back and it took SIX WEEKS for him to get it back. He was told at the 5 week mark that there was "no panic" and that it would be resolved but that is an extremely unhelpful and casual attitude when it is your incompetence that has resulted in someone being £900 out of pocket for such an unacceptable length of time.

An experience that just completely confirmed my opinions of estate agents. Right from the start when their representative was 45 minutes late arriving for the appointment, through to not informing me that the sale had collapsed, it was a soul destroying experience.Between them and their preferred solicitor (but more of them later), they managed to collapse a transaction involving a vacant property with no chain at either end, and took nine months to do it.
A very high turnover of staff with seemingly no handover or transitional notes left, lack of updates and constant progress chasing and, worst of all, being steered towards their preferred conveyancers (Premier Property Lawyers) with the stated aim of "speeding up the sale." If that statement was not so painful, then I would laugh. The sale collapsed due to the buyer finally losing patience over "unacceptable delays in answering queries", and pulled the plug.
I never wish to have any dealings with Connells ever again, and would strongly advise against anyone taking their recommendations on solicitors, from whom they earn a commission.
