Generally good experience with the team Just be aware of the tactics to get you to use their own mortgage broker. You DO NOT have to use them. We were given misinformation which has impacted our mortgage, and when we asked for help at renewal our emails were ignored.

Vile guy who got out of his office to be abusive towards a pensioner of 80 years old - and a 15 year old kid. Pensioner whom accidentally tapped his corsa door twice getting out of his car with parkinsons disease - causing no damage to either car - connels employee then smashed his wing mirror. Upon visiting the office one staff member said it was the 80 year old pensioner who was the aggressor - whom saw it all but couldn't comment on the wing nirror as he didnt see it - liar how convinient Will be sending video evidence of the person's conduct to connells complaints. A bunch of rude, and agressive employees who lie.

Chris and his team are a credit to Connells. Aaron showed us round the house on our initial viewing, he made us feel welcome and had a lot of knowledge about the property and the area. We found him very easy to get along with and he sold us to the house very easily.
Adam completed our mortgage. He made the whole process seem so easy and always called to explain our options and better deals as they came up. This allowed us to make a positive informed decision.
During the purchase we hit a couple of issues with our conveyancer. Chris was very proactive in staying in touch with both parties and kept us in the loop at least 2-3 times a day. As first time buyers he was always able to answer any queries even after the 4th or 5th call in the day, nothing was too much trouble.

2020/21 - After deciding last year (2019) not to move we felt 2020 was now the right time, in spite of covid restrictions. In respect to the pandemic, Connells were completely professional and on the ball with procedures in place for safe viewings.
Our sale had a number of ups and downs with buyers dropping out, but each time Chris and the team pulled out all the stops to get us more viewings and eventually a buyer who meant business. We would like to mention Chris and Luke in particular, who have been absolutely great! Friendly, courteous, approachable and hard working on our behalf. Couldn't have asked for better. 2019 - Our house was listed with Connells for about 6 weeks or so; during that time we received excellent service. In the end we didn't sell, nothing to do with Connells' service, it was a personal decision to wait.
The staff we dealt with were always really helpful, friendly and respectful, (Chris, Luke & Tavon and one other I can't remember his name).
Connells will be our first choice when we decide to put our home on the market again.

From the moment I met Chris the Manager I knew he would provide an excellent service. I was selling a property many miles from my home and it was great that most of the business was conducted by email. Once the property was marketed, a buyer offering the full asking price was found very quickly and the whole transaction was completed in a professional and efficient manner.
Chris and his staff were a pleasure to deal with and I would also recommend the conveyancing service that was arranged through Shoosmiths solicitors.
