I've been a private tenant for many years and have rented both directly and through a variety of agents. I can't praise Seymour's enough for their customer service and efficiency. I'm lucky in that the property we've rented through them for the past five years was in top condition when we moved in. Both they and the landlord have been immediately responsive when any issues have arisen, (which, to be fair, hasn't been that often.) All safety and standards checks are regularly carried out by appointment. Staff are responsive, friendly and polite. Very highly recommended.

If you're looking to buy or sell a home, I cannot recommend Andy Crossley and the team at Seymours Godalming enough.
Andy was always available to answer questions and proactively kept me updated every step of the process. I never felt out of the loop or uninformed.
Beyond just being excellent at his job duties, Andy is also just a genuinely wonderful person to work with. Honest, friendly and committed to my goals as if they were his own. He really went above and beyond to make a typically stressful transaction as seamless as possible.
I was buying a house through Seymours last year which sadly fell through (through no fault of theirs) and I have just successfully bought via them so I have more experience than most in writing this review! Andy and Seymours' industry knowledge combined with superior client care is truly second to none. I recommend them wholeheartedly and without reservation. Never having dealt with an estate until last year after our Dad sadly passed away and we had to sell the family home we used Seymours to sell it.We needed 3 valuations for Probate but Seymours were the winners by a long stretch for the estate agent that we wanted to use for the sale.
From the 1st time meeting them for the initial valuation to the completion date and handing the keys all the staff were so helpful and professional in their work.The house went on the market only 3 months after our Dad passed away so with dealing with bereavement was hard enough let alone selling the house aswell but we could trust Seymours to make the right decisions to make the sale as easy as possible.They all took pride in their work and all had good customer service skills.All phone calls and emails would be dealt with quickly and they would always be happy to talk to us on the phone and give us a warm welcome when visiting them in person.We definately made the right choice using Seymours,they came out 100% selling our house.

Seymours lettings team provided outstanding service for our move into rented accommodation in Godalming. They were welcoming from the start, providing clear information about the process; engaged personally in understanding our requirements; identified specific houses relevant to our needs as soon as they became available (many other agents simply included us on generic mailing lists); helped us individually through each stage of the offer; and alerted us pro-actively when a error by an external agency needed addressing rapidly. They were always available to answer questions about the town, location and a range of practical issues. When it came to the move-in, they took our somewhat complex arrangements in their stride and provided an easy connection with the landlord. They are now running the tenancy on behalf of the landlord and have responded speedily and effectively to any maintenance issues or questions. We have found the team really well organised, knowledgeable, communicative, thoughtful and above all kind - really important when going through such a stressful event as a house move. Tom Miles led the listing of my property. He explained the process very clearly, ensured we listed at the right price for the market, and got high quality photos taken to make our property attractive for the right buyer. We accepted an offer within two weeks at asking price.
Andy Crossley then dealt with the property from the acceptance of the offer through to exchange/completion and I can confidently say it wouldn't have gone through without him. We had a lot of difficulties with our ongoing purchase in what turned out to be a very long period between us agreeing our sale and finally sorting out our purchase.
Throughout, Andy not only helped with keeping our buyers informed with transparent and honest communications, but he went above and beyond to help advise and unblock problems with our purchase.
He's friendly, easy to deal with and very clearly acts with good intentions for both buyer and seller to make the process as smooth as possible. As I said, with Andy the process would've failed multiple times.

A great experience with this company. Adam Boshoff handled the sale of my property and guided this novice seller through the process with patience, skill and great knowledge. Due to the type of property and planning requirements, this was not an uncomplicated transaction but everything Adam advised showed to be correct and the sale completed within the expected timeframe.

Seymours sold my buy to let flat, they arranged a good number of viewings and were instrumental in the sale going through. The sale got stuck with lawyers and there were other issues. After having had years of terrible experiences with the likes of Foxtons, who seem to enjoy abusing tenants and prospective tenants, our interactions with Lynne from Seymours was a breath of fresh air. She was friendly, personable, and actually knew everything we asked about the property we viewed with her.
Normally agents can't be bothered to research the house they are showing. Lynne made our two visits, to what eventually became our new home, an enjoyable experience and we felt the she genuinely wanted us to find the perfect property for our needs.
Stark contrast with the numpty from Foxtons (Jake) who basically took us to complete dumps, student houses and completely inappropriate, overpriced houses in the wrong locations, whilst telling us that would be the best we could get for our budget. So wrong.
Definitely would recommend Lynne and Seymours 100%. An excellent experience all around.
