The whole team at B&W handled the marketing and viewing stage with professionalism and great communication; throughout what proved to be a long and complex leasehold sale Martin remained extremely professional and patient, and went above and beyond to help resolve queries from my purchaser and her conveyancer, to ensure the property sale reached a successful conclusion.

Always friendly, polite and knowledgeable. She was in constant contact with us the whole way through giving us updates. If we called to ask a question she would always chase it up and find out for us. She would get back to us quickly and if she wasn't in the office, the other team members were also really friendly and helpful and Kate would always contact as once she was back in. We dealt with Charlie mainly during our recent property search. He was one of only a couple of agents in the area who kept in touch regularly and seemed genuinely interested and passionate about helping us. Martin at Burns & Webber was simply brilliant. The house took longer to sell but Martin was always confident. When we did find a buyer we then couldn't find a house to buy and there were some very anxious months of waiting for all concerned. We found a house and moved within 5 weeks which was hair raising but Martin helped me with the process and was always on hand to talk to and liaise with our buyers as well as other agents down the chain to keep everyone on board and happy. I simply cannot recommend this agent or this Estate Agents any more highly, a very difficult sale, brilliantly carried out by Martin. Martin is a true professional and very very good at his job! We originally instructed Burns & Webber for our sale in 2019, but didn't sell on that occasion, so decided to do work on the property before returning it to the market. We selected them because Martin Hunt made an impression on us of being trustworthy, honest and likeable. It was also handy that B & W were connected more widely to Curchods, and we figured there was possibly a good market for us amongst people moving out of London. So reputation and reach were a factor.
They are a little pricey - but competitive, and then again the flat rate fee made everything straightforward and simple and their high standards of service make it worthwhile.
We kept in touch with Martin and the team before deciding to relaunch the house over Christmas 2020. I have always felt that Martin and his team are 'real' and have given us great advice, including being realistic about the price we marketed at and the state of the market. They have always been pleasant to deal with over the phone and in person (when this was possible), answering questions and keeping us informed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Martin and his team at Burns and Webber Farnham.

Firstly they said they would call back within a given time frame and failed to do so. Then when speaking to a male rental agent about a property, he allowed a landlady to discriminate against us as tenants as we were sharers and not a family. After that he very abruptly hung up on me before i could even enquire about other properties. Just an unprofessional experience overall unfortunately.

Excellent staff but unfortunately they recommend Shoosmiths to deal with the conveyancing and sale I'd Give Shoosmiths a minus 10 and highly advice anyone to think again before using Shoosmiths Solicitors I have completely changed my opinion of burns and webber..once they have sold a property they don't have any customer care..Will not listen to any complaints about the property even though at the time of purchase they did state they'd contact the developer over problem s yet they have done nothing to help and are not prepared to

Unbelievable arrogance. I rang yesterday to arrange a viewing for two houses in central Farnham that I am (was?) interested in only to be told that I must sign up to their marketing list first! I could ‘always unsubscribe later’ I was told. I don’t want to unsubscribe later, I don’t want to be subscribed in the first place. Is it legal to attempt to force marketing consent? I had given my name, phone no, address and email but this was not sufficient, I’d also clarified that I am a cash buyer with nothing to sell. I said I was not willing to give more information and gave him the choice of showing me the two houses or not. He declined saying he ‘couldn’t’ show me them unless I was registered. So, I shall have to carry on my Farnham search while avoiding these clowns with a barge pole. The owners of a small cottage in Castle Street or a house in Arundell Place (already reduced) should know that potential viewings of their properties are being blocked by this agent.

Burns and Webber... what a team!
In recently purchasing a property through the Farnham office; from initial qualification as a buyer, all the way to picking up the keys - I was simply amazed by the attentive level of service and professionalism that was carried out.
The main award goes to Robbie for being an absolute professional, gentleman and quite often a therapist / counsellor for all the stresses that come with purchasing a property.
A few unexpected curveballs were thrown but Robbie took the time to clearly talk through every aspect of useful information and when asked for his advice, he gave very clear and non bias truths.
Sellers / Buyers - Having an estate agency background myself for many years, I have seen / worked with many types of individuals in the industry but I can safely say that Robbie is one of the good guys who will always be available, keeps his word and talk sense (as long as you are open to common sense of course!). He will tell you the truth, a commodity often lost in this industry.

Burns & Webber were the only Estate Agents we engaged for the sale of our property, it took 8 months from engagement to sale. These 8 months began in snowy January so we consider those 8 months a reasonable time in the circumstances. All the people we dealt with at the Farnham office were professional, knowledgeable, efficient and very kind. They were helpful at all times and when giving us a nudge to move in the right direction or to move slightly quicker it was always done with considerable charm. They were very focused at all times in getting the house sold, definitely an iron fist in a velvet glove! I can't recommend them enough as their appeal, critically, is to both buyers and sellers. Now that the house is sold, I miss them!

Basically we can't thank Millie enough as we would not have even been to see the house we ended up buying were it not for her. We had a very specific wish list (S orientation of house/garden, specific street locations etc) but Millie was able to in a non-pushy and friendly way persuade us to take a look by explaining that it was a corner plot with the garden going around the house, and so therefore we shouldn't be concerned/put off with the compass direction of the house. She was absolutely right. Over and above this Millie was generally at all times brilliant - always updating and gently pushing the other side, all with a smile on her face. We could not recommend her more highly. This game is all about people and Mille is one of the best!

I have not decided as yet whether to sell my home, it is a hard decision after living here for 15 years!
Circumstances prevail....so I have had a few agents around to test the water....sell or rent?
I chose as my first agent Burns and Weber, the only reason they got a foot through my door first, is that when looking at the reviews, I noted that Dan Dewer, a Partner of Burns and Weber was the only agent that replied personally to each and every review given!! Now that impressed me!!
I had my first visit from Burns and Weber from a chap called Martin Hunt, (Assistant Manager) along with others from different agents within the area. There was absolutely no comparison!! I found Martin Hunt from Burns and Weber to be really organised, he had clearly researched every question I was to throw at him and knew his stuff! I loved his enthusiasm where his colleagues were concerned and his joy for working for clearly what he felt was the Best Estate Agent around!! (In fact if I had a company, i would like to employ him to promote it) When each agent left my home I marked their business card...Martins card said 'Top Man'!
I dreaded the fact that when you invite agents around for a valuation, whether that be for your own personal reasons, or a serious sale or rent, you may be bombarded with phone calls or e mails as to your response to their visit.
I have only just received a very polite e mail today, just checking in, in a timely manner from this professional agents which has made this write this response.
As and when I Sell/Rent my home, I will absolutely use Burns and Weber in Farnham.

He and his team were highly communicative and proactive in what was quite a complex chain.
