Not one to leave reviews but for the reasons below I feel it is necessary this time.
Holly was very helpful up until we paid the deposit, but since then has proved unwilling to provide any help or service hiding behind the ‘not managed by us’ line.
We arrived to our new, fully furnished, home on the same day and time as arranged with the landlord to find no door on the property, no furniture in the property and no one to meet us with keys, not that these were needed considering there was no door.
The landlord arrived and told us that someone was coming to fix the door but that it would take all day and that the people who were meant coming to move our furniture into the house had let her down. I had to take an emergency day off work to make sure that our belongings weren’t left unattended. To cut a long story short it has been two weeks and we only just have a fully furnished house with four mattresses. We have had no help from the agent whatsoever and feel very neglected and abandoned.
Won’t be using foxtons ever again.

I have been chasing for my deposit since I moved out 20 days ago. Absolutely zero communication or reply from head office or Foxtons Dulwich. Every time I ring up they refer me to a deposit specific email that hasn’t acknowledged a single email from me. Our landlord agreed to return our deposit over 10 days ago. I cannot understand what is happening here and why I am over a grand out of pocket.

Rented my flat through Foxtons lettings team. Dreadful from start to finish, and to top it off are far more expensive than every other local estate agency. Found sub-par tenants who left my flat in a complete state (filthy, overgrown garden) on check out, mismanaged the check in report and the deposit arbitration. Tenants moved out six months ago and still haven't received the refund of the deposit monies.

Foxtons are a joke. Firstly, our house was incredibly dirty when we first moved in, not what you're expected on the arrival to your new home. We were then promised a cleaning service, but never received one but they charged the previous tenants £250, pocketing the previous tenants deposit but never cleaning our house.
We then had no inventory, and I asked many times over phone and email (even in person) and still they never sent out an inventory. They have now updated on our portal (a year later) an inventory document which is said to have been created last year. Which is a lie.
Our boiler and oven broke over the Christmas period, and because Foxtons are so disorganised we couldn't get through to any of the services they provided on their answer phone (they love the answer phone because they never seem to pick up). So I outsourced someone to repair our oven in time for Christmas and paid myself, hoping to be reimbursed by Foxtons. Sadly not, they never replied to me.
During the winter months, we were battling a temperamental boiler which kept breaking. The radiator in my room didn't work for the whole winter and Foxtons kept ignoring our request for a new boiler because we were living with no heating or hot water for months. Finally, towards the end of the cold winter months, Foxtons finally agreed to organise a new boiler installation.
On top of all this, they are now increasing our rent after our house wasn't working properly for half a year.

After not putting my partner's on the tenancy agreement for her rental property for 6 months (!) Foxton's then refused to give her a reference for the place that me and her were aiming to move into together. Because of them being deliberately obtuse it completely disrupted the referencing process for us moving into our new place, despite her paying her rent on time consistently for the duration of her tenancy, and them failing to put her name on the agreement for half a year through sheer laziness/incompetence.
I called them to speak with them about the situation and the guy on the phone started giving me some pseudo-philosophical speech to justify his colleagues' behaviour. Having heard horror stories from other tenants over the years I'm not in the least bit surprised but it really did throw me off to see how unprofessional and immature this company and its staff seem to be.
Please avoid like the plague and choose another estate agent if possible, these guys are vultures. It seems like it's a real culture within the workforce too, as the stories across the board from different branches are so consistently shocking.
In contrast, La Casa Property Services in Hither Green are amazing and have been so helpful, so please head there if you're looking to rent a place locally.

Terrible team and wrongly sold “fully managed “ property services with a ridiculous charges and nothing in return!!
Once you are on board with them, none cares to even reply before u email few times.
Worst is, our tenant’s contract was ending and none was replying to us on house checks or anything at all till we send few emails. They are still not sure on this as of now.
Huge fees for nothing at all.
Stay away! They don’t care once you are on board with them and been charged.
Much better companies out there for better services .

Our house is landlord managed. We agreed a new contract with the landlord personally yet Foxtons still want to charge £96 to renew our contract (same as last year so no alterations). I rang to discuss as I thought it was unfair considering we never liaise with them or anything and was told by a Sebastian that ‘well no one put a gun to your head to sign the first contract’.. We initially paid their fee to get the house and until now haven’t heard from them since. I was also 9 months pregnant when we signed the first contract so never read all the t nd c’s.
There is no customer service. They are super blunt and rude on the phone. I got off the phone and felt so frustrated by being shouted at like I was the stupid one. I felt like they knew that they had me nd basically tough luck. That is not ok for us who pay £1800 a month in rent.
Pick agents that don’t just want to fleece you year after year for doing nothing.
There are a lot of better agencies that don’t charge these ridiculous fees and yet have good customer relations. 10 years of renting and this agency is definitely top of my DO NOT GO HERE LIST.

Absolutely dreadful service from start to finish. Renting a house through foxtons has been an absolute nightmare. They are incredibly disorganised, unwilling to help, can't resolve basic issues (we didn't have a boiler for 2 months in the middle of winter), are rude, and they then tried to take parts of our deposit away unfairly. I'd really recommend avoiding foxtons. I am now with dexters, who are so much better!

Tried to rent through Foxtons for the second time this November. Despite the abhorrent service I received from Foxtons Peckham 6 months earlier. Holly seemed attentive and to care about what we needed. Luckily for us, after viewing a property we loved, all went quiet. We were left totally in the dark as to what was going on. It was very stressful for us. Thankfully, Roy Brooks Nunhead was on hand to help us!

I wrote a review on the Foxtons site. It doesn't appear- they only show 5 star reviews. We put our house to rent with Foxtons. Despite contacting them nearly a month ago and filing all paperwork (which we had to chase and was a very lengthly process due to their 'portal system' not working) our house is still not on the market. It will likely stand empty for 3 months costing us money because we have chosen Foxtons. Michael initially seemed extremely nice and promising but literally nothing has been done and I have wasted hours on phone calls and online trying to get this sorted. No one has looked at our house because the photos we sent across have not been put online. Definitely don't try and let your home out with Foxtons if you genuinely need tenants for a specific time.

Be very careful with this company and ensure you read your contracts carefully before signing, there are hidden fees and charges in many of them. They are not to be trusted. There are many other reputable trustworthy companies on lordship lane, I would advise you to take your business elsewhere.

Foxtons handled my sale and did a great job. Compared to other solicitors I found them much more proactive and on the ball, something which is really required at various points of the process. Jenny Purchase and Sam Leaney handled my sale and both put up with a lot of hassles to make sure the sale went through - if I go through this process again I'd happily work with them again.

Holly Jones - FOXTONS DULWICH is the best agent I have ever met!
Holly answered to our enquiry regarding to one of the Dulwich property within two hours. She was on time for the viewing, she was very pleasant, looked professional and showed genuine interest towards our ideal place.
Next time she called and made sure that all 3 properties she is showing us matches with every-single-little-detail! It was incredible.
She is a very pleasant person to talk to, very calm, and always keen to satisfy her clients.
She is a true asset to the Dulwich team, and on her own made a very good impression of the entire company.

It was a pleasure dealing with David Moloney -- he is extremely professional, well versed and updated with his market knowledge on the property market and the ins and outs of buying and selling. He is courteous, responds promptly to your phone calls and emails and goes the extra mile in following up with solicitors to ensure the clunky process of exchanging contracts goes smoothly. He's unassuming, so whenever we had queries, he would go back to the seller and check the facts. Look for David if you will engage with Foxtons and you will get the best service.

for the past four years I've used Foxton's for rental and the sale of a number of properties .
I have experience a very hi standard of customer service from Foxton's at East Dulwich Nadia Amzert is my regular point of contact in the lettings and valuation department at East Dulwich over the last 15 months Nadia has assisted me to achieve the rental income that I requested on a number of properties. I was searching for a property in the new cross/peckham area and got through to Sam Leany in the dulwich branch.
Sam did a very thorough property search for me and has been extremely helpful and professional throughout. He was always available to answer my questions and very quick to reply to reply/solve my enquiries.
I eventually found a property through Sam that fitted my needs and put an offer on it that had been excepted. Unfortunately due to an unsuccessful Valuation on the property I wasn't able to buy it, but Sam did all he can to help me find another property.

As a first time buyer I had been searching the market for around 8 months with little success around the Dulwich area. After speaking to Matthew at the East Dulwich Foxtons branch I was given sound transparent information on the current market conditions and he was able to manage my budget and expectations extremely well resulting in completing on a two bedroom flat in West Dulwich 4 months later! Holly Jones at Foxtons Dulwich was absolutely fantastic, efficient, and courteous throughout the whole rental experience. She helped me view a flat I really liked in less than 4 hours after calling her, and sorted the whole move out in exactly a week.
The only downside to Foxtons is that their charges are well on the high side. But they're very transparent about their prices, and I can have no complaints on that front.

We had been looking for an apartment to move into for about just under 2 months. We saw some absolute nightmares, agents that were just trying to rip us off, and as students were left feeling very uncomfortable with the whole rental process.
When Mimi showed us our new property we fell in love with it right away and cancelled all our other viewings that day. She was AMAZING!
