I don’t know where shall i start from. I don’t know if it’s the correct office because i don’t which office is Shan Zhang from. So i came to view the apartment a month ago and i choose a medium studio flat, and we confirmed the same with her as well. It is very obvious that we don’t know any flat number so we wrote whatever the number Shan Zhang told us. And everything was okay. For me it was confirmed that i had medium studio room. After that i paid the holding deposit. After few weeks i was asked for the referencing and i had no idea that for ‘zero hour contract’ people they have pay upfront or else there is no other option. Shan Zhang from Foxtons never told us about this. And when i asked the referencing team they said the agent for sure know about this. I called back Shan Zhang and instead of helping me she said it’s not her department and she doesn’t know anything about this. And hence we had to pay 6 months plus security deposit all upfront. On 16.07.2024 we checked in to the flat. But i felt something is not okay with our room because it was not the one that i booked or confirmed. Instead of our medium room they gave me a single studio. When i asked Shan Zhang about the room she tried to convince me that was the room i booked. And i told her if i booked a single room then why i paid for medium studio which was 1225p/m. And Shan Zhang started talking to me rudely and aggressively on call in front of another Foxtons agent who was being very nice and helpful for me. Shan Zhang quoted “ if you want to stay to stay or else you can just withdraw and leave “. Which i could not handle and asked the other agent ghat i don’t want to talk or see Shan Zhang again. We stayed in the single room for three nights, which we never booked or paid, and after a real struggle and street today we are moving in a different medium studio ( not the one we booked ). Because Foxtons said that they don’t have the room which i booked and has been taking by someone else. I have the proof video of the show flat that we booked and even the conversation with the agent as well. Since the start i am compromising everything and there is nothing from Foxtons to offer us yet. So through this review i would like to say that the company tried to scam me. And i would like to demand a compensation from Foxtons for the mess up they did for 4 days and tree nights, my money is not a waste. The company should be happy that I haven’t filed any case to the court and police for fraud and scam. Will never recommend Shan Zhang to anyone and if by chance someone meet her be cautious and ask her everything. Thank you... Read more

Their communication was excellent throughout, providing quick feedback and keeping in touch regarding viewings. I contacted Foxtons in Harrow when my brother was given a terminal diagnosis. Hexin came to his house and looked around then gave me a valuation. Hexin understood the urgency of the sale and within days we had viewngs and an offer was accepted. Unfortunately my brother passed away. The sale fell through and we had to wait for Probate . During this very difficult and emotional time Hexin and her team worked tirelessly to get viewings done and offers in. Hexin was so patient she guided me through the process she was always quick to answer my questions. Thankyou so much Hexin and your team for all the hard work you put in. We dealt with Georgina from Foxton who was the saving grace . She was a balm to some other unpleasant experiences . I think in a service industry it’s the people who man it is a make or break. The experience with these people will help you to propagate the said business or make it bunk . Georgina was empathetic , could resonate with our expectations and was an absolute delight .
