Inadequate, unprofessional unsatisfactory service
We had very little viewings despite being in a popular residential area. We were told that they had an extensive contact list, however this failed to materialise. We even converted our 2 bed to 3 bed to make it more attractive. Listed Feb 2023. Reduced 15th May and completed 20th October.
We were pressurised to lower the price of our house, still not a lot of viewings.
One of the staff kept making excuses and wasting our time. We complained and he was taken off our case. Explanation provided, he is like that!
After eventually selling, we emailed to see if the seller would like to keep an item. On the weekend before handing over the keys we called and emailed again to check no reply. That evening someone contacted us to see if we could go back and collect before the buyer moves in the next morning?
Their excuse "person handling it wasn't in, no one could pass on a message" they know that we live very far and wanted us to go back after 9pm with a newborn.
Utter shambolic, would not recommend.

Just completed on a house sale with Gascoigine-Pees Worcester Park. Cannot praise them enough. From the initial meetings with Ken for marketing the property with realisitic figures, and a sense that they care.
The open day was very well attended with G-P providing a full day of viewing cover with their agents which resulted in quite a large number of offers.
Adrian kept me fully updated at least weekly, with honest thoughts and advice on options to take as the sale progressed from acceptance to completion.
Gascoigne-Pees Worcester Park are excellent Estate Agents, very reasonable fees and I cannot recommend them enough.

In process of buying house some years ago was thoroughly messed around by these agents.
When showing a home they were fine and professional.
The problem was that house they were selling had been put back on the market as original buyer had taken too long to complete sale.
We had offer accepted on house and started process of getting survey done.
Rather than tell us that seller had decided to go back to original buyer, we had to wait until our surveyor tried to pick up keys and find out then.
This lack of transparent communication left us in a very bad situation regarding having a place to stay.

Very unprofessional service right from the start and an utter waste of time. I enquired about a property via Zoopla and had to chase the agents up not only for confirmation on the details of the property, but to arrange a viewing, and to receive confirmation of my viewing appointment. Having spent an hour driving to the property, I got a phone call saying that the agent who had been showing the property before had gone home with the keys and shall be there in 20 minutes. Reluctantly I decided to wait. After 30 minutes waiting in the cold and still no show from the agent to let us in, I walked away from the purchase. In total this appointment had wasted 3 hours of my life which I won't get back.
It is baffling that estate agents can get away this such poor, unprofessional service. More baffling is for a business that makes most of its income through commission is how nonchalant they are about losing a sale. Ridiculous.

Terrible, most of the property's they are selling are apparently already under offer but not updated on Rightmove, probably because they don't have many property's on there books. They fail to call you back - they don't know much information about the property's they are trying to sell. They use old age tricks to try and get you to make large offers and it seems they fail to pass on offers made to clients. Absolute waste of everyone's time
