We had a good experience working with Gibbs Gillespie. Jo is friendly and professional. We had multiple viewings on the property before we decided to purchase it and she was always helpful and accommodating. At one point, we were a bit frustrated and felt there was a gap in communication because the sellers of the property(in a chain of four) had decided on a completion date that we were not aware of and we were under pressure to complete the exchange. The solicitors said the agency missed to communicate and the agency said the solicitors missed so. We are not sure what exactly happened but Patricia was very helpful and negotiated with the sellers and the chain on our behalf and ultimately, it all sorted out. We are thankful to Jo and Patricia for helping us with the whole process.

Jo Godfray showed me kindness. She went out of her way to pick me up from Waitrose in Ealing and drove me to the property for the viewing. She was personable and warm in her approach for which I was immensely grateful. She showed me around the property explaining minute details. Although I did not make an offer on that particular property I enjoyed meeting her and the viewing, After informing her that my son was interested in residing close to the Elizabeth line, she drove me around the back streets of the area to point out the location of the tube station and also a quiet park in the vicinity. I would definitely recommend Jo and also Gibbs Gillespie as a company. She sent me a lovely email this afternoon wishing my son and I well for securing the apartment in a lively neighbourhood. The process of selling a property can be a long and unfamiliar one. It’s not something I have done for a very long time.
I arranged to meet with 4 local estate agents - one was a ‘no show’ and no reason ever given.
The others gave good advice and a decent ‘pitch’ on why they should become my selling agent. One of those agents was outstanding - Gibbs Gillespie.
When meeting with Jason Godfray from Gibbs Gillespie his calm no pressure approach, confidence, knowledge, understanding of my property and the area was reassuring.
Patricia O’Sullivan became my day to day ‘go to’ contact. Always approachable and responsive. Arranging for photography and the ‘EPC’ energy survey - along with everything else . Looking after viewings, keeping me updated and generally keeping an eye on the property which was vacant.
It was a difficult market but Patricia and the team were always positive and upbeat with that calm friendly attitude and advice I appreciated - as did prospective buyers I believe. Honest work from good people.

We choose them because, although not the cheapest they had lot's of local knowledge, were very responsive and a had a very professional approach. Fabulous staff who went the extra mile to sell my house and get the agreed asking price. Jason was professional, courteous and realistic when he valued my house and secured a fair price for it which I was happy with. Other estate agents came in with unrealistic valuations to try and get my business or suggested I slashed the price by nearly £80,000 to get a quick sale. He stayed in close contact for the duration of the time that my house was on the market.
I particularly valued Northfields experience and expertise when it came to exchanging contracts and agreeing a date for completion. I was near the top of a very long chain and Heather went out of her way to reach out to all of buyers/sellers and their solicitors to unblock potential issues and keep things moving. She was absolutely amazing and really went the extra mile to stay on top of what was happening throughout the chain (the estate agents acting for my purchaser and the vendor of the property I was buying would ask Heather for updates as they weren't on top of what was happening themselves).

We had never been to Ealing but heard about the some neighbourhood over there and decided to have a look. We are so happy that we called Northfields first. Leah Verasammy understood our requirements carefully and send us by email a select number of properties based on our criteria. We reviewed them and was glad that she understood very well our needs as almost all of them very quite pertinent. Within that list, we did a premier selection and send back our selection. Within few hours, she organized the viewings for all but one (and that for the next day). The next day, we were received by Rohan Berry who was very prepared. He is very calm, poised and courteous human being. We felt that even the house sellers whose properties we visited appreciated working with him. He spent around 2 1/2 hours to show us the area, explain the advantages and disadvantages so that we can make a proper choice. The visits were well organized and smooth. The interaction was very pleasant. I can say that working with them you can make an informed decision with ease and pleasantness.

Northfields were absolutely fantastic from start to finish in helping me to successfully sell my house in Pitshanger Lane, Ealing. I was very keen for a quick sale and we were able to find the perfect buyer after not much more than a month or so of viewings.
The Northfields Team at the Pitshanger Lane Branch offered a very friendly and personable service. Everything was very easy throughout. I initially dealt with Jason who popped by to value the property. Then the process of getting the house to market was quick and simple with Jason helping every step of the way with organising the Photography and Floorplan etc. The process of viewings was very smooth thanks to the help of Leah and Heather.
On a specific note, despite unfortunately having an incredibly stressful experience waiting for a grant of probate to be issued which caused significant delays to exchange and completion, Leah was amazing in helping me to communicate with the buyer in order to keep them on board and willing to be patient. Leah was able to help me through one of the most stressful experiences I've ever had and ensure that the sale went through with everyone involved satisfied upon completion. I still think had I used another estate agent or tried to sell myself without an agent, the sale may well have not gone through. Clearly this shows that estate agents play an incredibly important role in managing the communication between all parties involved to ensure a sale goes through smoothly.

Viewings process: When we started viewings with her she really listened to what we wanted, so we only saw properties that we would actually be interested in. She is very responsive to emails/checks her phone, but unlike other agents we encountered in our house search, she never spammed us with messages about properties we were never going to be interested in. She was also very considerate about our communication preferences, sending emails while we would be at work rather than calling. Unlike lots of other estate agents who constantly make you feel like you are being sold to, we felt we could trust what she was telling us.
Sale process: from making an offer through to completion, Leah was very helpful at every stage. As first time buyers, she made the process much easier for us to understand and she was always available for questions when we had them. Unfortunately during the sales process we had some difficulties with the sellers trying to change the conditions of sale that our offer was based upon. Leah was communicative, transparent and fair when dealing with this difficult process. She went above and beyond to find a resolution that meant the sale could go ahead.

We've just moved into our new home and am so so pleased we chose Northfields Estate Agents to sell our house. Northfields have been outstanding in assisting through the process of an unfortunate and challenging eviction that had to happen during the first wave of COVID and subsequently the equally challenging sale of our property to help us and the buyers to meet the 2021 stamp duty deadline. I have recently purchased my second property in Ealing from Leah Verasammy from Northfields (Pitshanger Lane Office). I found the agent Leah to be very professional and always very helpful. Leah looked after me, she knew exactly what kind of property I was looking for. You could tell she had a real knack for not only sales but how to assist us all the way to completion. I can truthfully say she is a caring and a very honest person that I have ever dealt with/known.
As a buyer I had lots of questions and so did my solicitor. Leah was able to obtain all the necessary information quickly, enabling the purchase to take place within a short time. Leah was so helpful in explaining what we needed to do and putting us in touch with the right people. She was always available to answer any questions we had (no matter how silly or small they were!) and overall, we received a fantastic and friendly service from Northfields Estate Agent.
I am hoping to now use the agency for the management of the buy to let as I feel that they value their customers and I can see that they have a very friendly service.

We sold our house through the Pitshanger office of Northfields, with Leah as our main point of contact. Leah ran a series of viewings for prospective buyers in a highly professional manner, and always gave us prompt and detailed feedback from each viewing. Leah has always lived in Pitshanger so was able to provide prospective buyers with first-hand knowledge and advice on all aspects of the local area, including schools, shops and community organisations, in addition to providing information about our house.
Once we had a chain in place, Leah continued to liaise with our buyers (first timers) and helped to guide them through what was, to them, uncharted territory.
This was already pretty much a five star experience, but where Leah really went “above and beyond” was when we ran into a late problem with our upper chain. By communicating agent to agent, not only with our vendor’s agent but right to the top of the chain, Leah was able to debunk some seemingly conflicting information. That, plus Leah’s further calm and expert advice, helped us to navigate our way out of a stressful and risky position.
We really cannot commend Leah highly enough.

We’ve been very happy with the service provided by Leah from Northfields on Pitshanger lane. We’d been looking for a house in the area for a while and we had a house viewing with Leah back in April. Although we initially asked to see only one property, Leah suggested us to see a few other houses, which were a bit out of our budget, however she suggested there could be room for negotiation on some of them. We loved one of the houses and wanted to see it a few more times before we made an offer and Leah made it happen. She also suggested to arrange a meeting between us and owners of the house - this was very helpful as it’s always useful to know what kind of people you intend to buy a property from and you can ask them any questions about it.
After that the whole process from making an offer to exchanging the contracts went very smooth. Leah was always available to answer any our questions and give us updates on the progress. Finally, she’s simply a nice person so it was a real pleasure to work with her. Good luck with future sales!

I don’t know where to start... Amazingly amazing Amir...He made our day. No he made our week actually. We were looking forward to viewing a property, but we ended up dazzled by Amir’s knowledge and light. We almost ... I hate to say... cried at the end of the viewing as we did not want the meeting to come to an end! Amir we love you!
And no, he did not pay us to say this, he just promised to contribute to our deposit. What a man Amir :))))))))))))
Ok joke aside, Amir took his time (and a long time it was: a full hour to view one studio!) and answered all hundreds of questions we had. He was sharp, truly helpful and gave us great advice on how to buy a property for first time buyers. Amir is also the kind of person that will tell you things in your face (politely of course ;) He does not embellish stuff to make a sale.

Just hours ago we received the wonderful news that our property sale has Completed and in record time, just 5 weeks from the viewing! Truly we are over the moon.
We cannot thank the team at Northfields estate agents (Pitshanger branch) enough for their efforts, especially Leah and Amir that made it all happen against a challenging market.
We had tried the market in 2017 with another local agent but were unsuccessful.
From start to finish the process of selling our property was conducted in an extremely professional and proactive manner. Furthermore the marketing and brochure produced was 1st class.
Once we had accepted the offer it was full steam ahead. Amir was on hand every step of the way guiding and keeping us fully up to date with the state of play. Chasing Solicitors and maintain close contact with the buyers. Momentum was maintained throughout the process which was especially significant in our case to make the sale happen.
Communication with Northfields Pitshanger office and Amir, even for the smallest of matters/queries was no trouble at all and we were never made to feel a nuisance. During the process of the sale we were in fact out of the country for a week (in a different time zone) however the team were always contactable even on their mobile phones AOH.
Towards the end inevitably even when faced with the stresses of packing in such a short time frame Amir gave us sound and practical advice.
Cannot recommend them enough!
Looking ahead we will be sure to keep in close contact with Amir so as to work his magic when it comes to sourcing our perfect house purchase in Ealing!

I have dealt with many estate agents in the Ealing area but have found Northfields Pitshanger to be by far the best. We bought our property via this branch and Leah worked incredibly hard in coordinating the sale - really going out of her way to make sure the process was well managed. She managed to strike the right balance between being professional yet friendly. If I had to speak a colleague in Leah's absence, they were always very helpful as well. They clearly support each other's clients when needed and work together as a team, which I think is rare in this industry. We recently viewed a couple of properties with Amir from Northfields estate agents. Amir was very sensible, helpful and easy to talk to. It was one of our best viewing experiences so far. Amir spent almost an hour showing us around the properties, answering our questions and never hurried us. We found him to be very knowledgeable about the property, location, current market conditions and future prospects for potential buyers. I had a very good experience with the Pitshanger branch of Northfields estate agents. I met Leah at a couple of properties and found her to be knowledgable, genuine and easy to talk to.
Although in the end we did not purchase a property that Leah showed us, she nevertheless offered us ongoing advice with all aspects of our move and this was really appreciated.
I took her up on her offer and have spoken to her a few times in the conveyancing process when I needed a bit of advice. Leah clearly knows her area and was able to provide us with her expert opinion and gave me reassurance.
Because of her approachable and friendly personality, we will definately be coming back to her in the future.

From the moment I first went into Northfields they were very friendly and helpful.
We discussed my exact requirements, and then searched through their current inventory. I was also registered onto their system to ensure that I was constantly updated with any new properties which met my requirements. The email updates have been very accurate an timely
