Very disappointed with the level of service I received the only reason I gave one star is because Simon is fantastic, very friendly and attentive. The issues I experienced: - the estate agent who came out to the viewing did not introduce herself, told me no information about the property, did not ask me why I was moving/looking for, or the amount I had/would want to spend. - I put in an offer but heard nothing back, I had to chase back at the end of the day to find out it was declined so not sure why I was not told sooner. I increased my offer and again it took all day to get a response. The following day I decided to increase it and hope the vendor would meet me in the middle to what they were looking for and if they didn't I would have met them at the price they wanted. I got told to wait and see how the other viewings would go today, I then got outbid and lost the property. The estate agent didn't even tell me the figure I had to beat I just had to assume "a lot higher" was over what I was willing to pay. I don't know anyone who has taken over an hour to negotiate on price, let alone 3 days. If the owner was slow at replying or wanted to wait till all viewings had happened I didn't get advised that. To buy a property is first come first serve, I was first in and yet I lost out because John Francis were dragging their feet. At the end of this awful process not one person said to me they will keep in contact if a similar property were to come available. Poor communication.... Read more
