We were unsure how best to sell our home to achieve the quick sale that we required. Katie from John Francis was great with her valuation and getting a nice listing up on the website. She suggested we sell via the "modern auction method" with their I AM SOLD collaboration.
Everything worked very well. There were a few very minor delays on account of some lender issues, but on the whole we were kept well informed by I AM SOLD & Dylan at JF Pontardawe. The price received was a little under the initial valuation but a very fair price overall. The I AM SOLD method gives the buyer impetus to complete in a timely manner, which is mainly a good thing from a seller's perspective.
We are very grateful to you all for getting everything sorted and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone selling by this method and through this agent.

We cannot fault Karen and her team, especially Rachel and Katie! Our house sale, from the original meeting with Katie and her initial marketing to contact with our buyer and agreeing a price was very quick. Then the solicitors took over and that slowed things down but the team at John Francis communicated very regularly, so we knew what was happening and were able to respond to any questions directly. This was an important move to get right, downsizing to something more manageable in later life. I needn't have worried as the staff; a special mention for both Zac and Rachel, have been incredibly helpful. During all the sales we have found the branch to be very helpful. All 3 properties sold very quickly and all sales went through with minimal fuss. I had to ring the office to get updates but this could be due to the extreme business in the market currently. Overall good estate agents.

After being congratulated that my offer has been accepted and sending the relevant information over to complete the purchase. I was later informed a week later that a higher off has gone through, even though I had already given the mortgage in principle, contact of solicitor and proof of deposit. What a terrible company, luckily I didn’t pay for a survey. Please stay away if you don’t want to be messed about.

Initial dealings where ok but now 11 weeks into the sale of our house and communication is totally non existent, i have to do all the chasing. 2 weeks before due to complete and i find out that one of the chain (who John Francis are also dealing with) has not completed there searches so move date is now off indefinitely, the info came from our buyer not a single word from John Francis despite me making several calls and sending emails. I was under the impression that the commission you pay was for the estate agent to chase the process through to the end, i was wrong, all i got was a valuation and a for sale board. Deeply disappointed.

Beware if thinking about selling your property with this company, be sure to double check the commission they quote you during the valuation matches the fees on the contract you will need to sign.

I recently sold my house and bought a property with the Pontardawe Branch so I have seen both sides of the process ......selling my house went smooth but alas buying a property in need of a major refurb took a bit of work due to one of the sellers living overseas and with all the time difference and bad phone lines alot of communication issues , but I have to say the professional standards of the office was superb and kept me informed throughout the difficulties and thus securing my home . All the staff were very pleasant and helpful but special mention to Kayley who was excellent above and beyond what I would expect . So thanks again girls and Rhys and I shall see you all again soon when I'll be buying.

We recently had dealings with John Francis Estate Agents through the process of purchasing our forever home.
The service they provided from start to finish was nothing but professional and friendly! On each occasion we had cause to speak with the company with whatever query we had staff always did their best to resolve and alleviate any issue!
