First person to make an offer, full asking price. Didn’t accept as they wanted to show everyone for one week. One week later asked me to offer more. I offered more, still didn't get the property. If i knew it was guide price/slow auction I wouldn't have bothered. I travelled all the way from London to do a viewing and lost my pet which suddenly became ill on that day, wish I didn't go!!!
fox and sons did the same to me a few months ago, owned by the same company Connells, Sequence. Its not the staff it's the company.

I have recently bought a flat through K&C Lewes Road branch. Shaun and James were extremely helpful throughout the process, kept us up to date and organised a 2nd viewing of the property quickly when we requested in. They have been brilliant at liaising with different agencies when we requested surveys, and also with contacting our solicitor to speed things up where possible. Despite not using their in-house mortgage broker or solicitor services, they have been professional, helpful and supportive throughout. I would 100% recommend buying through them.

I can't recommend Shaun and his team enough, especially James and Connor. This is my first time selling a property and it comes with a range of emotions as it was my nans home and then my mothers who sadly passed away last year. They walked me through every step and were patient and just absolutely brilliant. My house went on the market on the Thursday and we accepted an offer within 6 days. We also had our offer accepted on the dream house we fell in love with and the team also helped with that as they knew the other estate agents. We had a hugely successful open day and James hosted that and completely smashed it. They're very responsive to messages and just a lovely bunch of people to work with. I will never forget the moment James called me to tell me our highest offer which well exceeded our expectations.

I could not fault Shaun Egan and his team from my first contact until completion today.
If I have a criticism it is not with them but with King & Chasemore which presumably as a matter of policy asks them to recommend HS Lawyers with the bribe of free photography. In hindsight I should have paid the £200 for the photographer and used my own solicitor.
When Shaun and I realised that real pressure had to be put on the lawyers to get moving Shaun backed me up every inch of the way and did his share of chasing and checking until completion

Had a viewing scheduled for 11am at Royal Mansions. Lettings agent didn't show up. Called at 11.10am, the administrator said he was "chatting to the tenants" and would be another 5 minutes. The Letting's agent himself then called, clearly still in the office and said he was just leaving now and would be another 15 minutes.... I would absolutely not choose them again. There were some aspects of efficiency at points and I am sure they are nice people individually and deep down. However I found my experience in dealing with them so exhausting and stressful that it will take me a long time to recover. They didn't listen, were 'slippery', took no responsibility for the results of their actions, rushed me in areas where no rush was needed, hurried me to go online with terrible photos that I was really not happy with, which ultimately lowered the value of the property. They priced it too high to begin with and then we had to drop the price (watching other properties with them online, it seems that is a tactic) They played the game at all points and manipulated with talk of children, the work I did, any hook they could find. They were communicative when they wanted something and dropped off the radar as soon as there was a problem, again taking no responsibility for anything. I could honestly go on and on about how awful the experience was and even now I am finding it difficult to keep focused and chronological in describing it all. It was that frustrating. Ultimately they didn't manage to sell the house in 12 weeks. They found a buyer who was ultimately a total dud, pulling out 5 weeks in, which then lost us our onward purchase. Not entirely their fault, but it is their job to vet people. They then still didn't find anyone else. Even though they had redone the photos, they still weren't great and by then we had lost the initial impact of being a new property. He still.could never admit that the initial photos were terrible (for example one of the photos was literally of a bag on the back of a door, there was no photo of the bathroom suggesting a terrible bathroom even though it is very pleasant) I could go on and on. But I will finish with the fact that I then got a new agent, who sold the house for a good price within a day. A day! I have been so burned by the previous experience, whilst also trying to care for a young family, that if I could I would have sued them for emotional distress.
I am still not holding my breath as so many setbacks happened over the last 6 months, but fingers crossed my new agent has been comparatively exceptional. Honest, clear, communicative, incredibly helpful, friendly and efficient. This is Q estate agents - I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Since being a tenant at King and Chasemore for the last 6 months, I can positively confirm that they are an incredible agency. They are polite, friendly, responsive, and most importantly, there to put your needs first. My primary contact, Paula, at King and Chasemore has always been available to answer any questions or worries via phone or email whenever I've needed it. And on the odd occasion she was unavailable, any other member of the team was happy to help with any request.
Overall the team is a fantastic group of people, and I would happily direct anyone looking for an agency to help with becoming a tenant, or a landlord, to King and Chasemore as I highly recommend them!

For various pandemic-related reasons, the whole process took far longer than it ordinarily would but Josh and Claire were brilliant at keeping the process moving as quickly and smoothly as possible. They were always friendly and professional, and were brilliant at communicating when the process hit unavoidable difficulties, ensuring information was relayed between us and the vendors, and both parties' solicitors where needed.
A great service for buyers, and I imagine that the vendors were happy with their experience as well.

Amazing service with really great support. We were moving from London to Brighton during the pandemic and Paula, Fin and Adam have all been super supportive and patient. When stuck in traffic on check-in day, they even waited an extra two hours just to give us the key! Joshua was professional, amiable and made me feel comfortable, always listening to any of my concerns regarding selling with an openness and interpersonal skills that are often lacking. I was kept informed throughout what can be an arduous and difficult process, communication throughout was excellent and the sale went smoothly. My mother was unwell and he even remembered to check in with me regarding her health as they met when I was first appointing an estate agent.
He went out of his way to help me when I was unable to move my remaining possessions prior to exchange and not only packed them but stored them for me. I cannot thank him enough and his team for how kind they were when I was struggling to get everything organised myself remotely.

Although i was pleased with the initial services. The company made a significant error that meant i did not receive my money for many weeks. I was fair and patient throughout the process but was told at the end that i would receive no compensation although it caused a significant inconvenience and resulted in a great deal of time wasted. Its a shame because otherwise i would have most likely used them for various properties.
